Broke down some 150 miles from home. Was recovered by Burrows and a lovely man named Peter. Peter was extremely helpful and easy to chat to on the long journey home. Thank for everything and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

The breakdown chap arrived as expected at 10pm 03.03.22. The dead engine fault was clearly something I should have sorted (engine closed in automatic D mode). Sorted in less than two minutes. Thankfully, I was not made to feel TOO embarassed.

We were towing a caravan on a field track near NG10 2FX when we heard a horrible bang. We had dislodged the motormover. We contacted Mayday and were told to wait for an hour. But the Burrows van arrived half an hour later. The man in the van spotted the problem, even though it was with the caravan rather than the car, and sorted it out within ten minutes! We were able to tow home. I cannot express to you how very grateful we are for such excellent service. Please say an extra thank you to your driver. Despite almost a two hour wait (due to high demand before the second lock down), I can’t fault this company. I was greeted by a lad called Jack who was great, I burst my tyre in a really deep pot hole and had no spare of inflation foam to get me home. Jack was really careful with the vehicle as it was pretty much driving on its alloy, he loaded it up and drove it 30 miles home, off loaded and parked the car up for me! Jack was exceptionally careful and respectful of my paintwork when strapping the car up, I felt confident that the car was in good hands. Thank you for what felt like saving my life that Sunday evening burrows and thank you Jack for being so friendly and professional.

Broke down in middle of a busy roundabout, the police arranged for Burrows to recover as we were in a dangerous situation. Burrows arrived promptly and took us back to there Derby branch. Lynne on reception was extremely helpful, a credit to the company.

Burrows came out to pull my daughters car out of a ditch in the early hours of the morning. The lady in the office was very nice and helpful and had my daughters safety as No1, unlike the RAC that she had to deal with to start off with. The two recovery men that came out were very friendly and helpful and recovered the vehicle in no time with no damage to her car. 1st class recovery and would definitely recommend. I failed to catch the name of the driver! But excellent service. Broke down on my way for school run, driver was at my car within 30 mins, took myself and young son to the garage and dropped us off home in heavy hail and rain. When he should have been on his lunchbreak, and was still friendly and cheery. Made what could have been a very difficult afternoon much easier to deal with!

I broke down just off the motorway and Neil came to meet me. A really nice pleasant guy. He informed me of what the problem most likely is but unfortunately still need to be towed as my car is an automatic. He rang in for a tow, and sorted out for me to pick me up from my home (as the tow was going to be a while). Mark called me to let me know what time he was going to pick me up. He met me outside - again really nice guy. He took me back to the car, towed it to my local garage and even dropped me back home after to save me having to get a taxi. Broke down in Ashbourne so contacted the RAC who subcontracted Burrows Derby branch you come out to me. The recovery driver, Mark Grantham came out and was excellent throughout. He recovered the car and drove my kids and I back home. He was very friendly throughout and even took the time to chat to my children through the journey, ensuring they weren't cold. When he unloaded my car onto the driveway, he didn't just rush off - he took his time to help and advise me regarding the problem. Brilliant customer service Mark. You're a credit to this company.

Found a punctured Tyre this morning and called Eversure Breakdown Cover, then Burrows recovery was there within an hour. The man was very professional and went out of his way to help. Only today did I realize that I had an incorrect size spare wheel, and expected an answer "Sorry, nothing much we can do".. I was wrong. He helped get the punctured Tyre to a garage nearby, waited patiently till the job was done, drove back and helped fit it. I would have gone to a garage who charged more. He suggested a place which was way cheaper and saved me bucks. Forgot to get the name of the driver, but excellent service and turned the situation into a less stressful one, which would have otherwise been a nightmare. Thanks a lot :)

Been to Burrows several times and always had excellent service, They are upfront and honest with great pricing and staff. Always had good jobs done very quickly and helpful, flexible working hours. Off back there in a week to get some more work on my van and looking forward to it. Took a while to find a garage I could trust that would sort the van ready for work. I would recommend Burrows to anyone.

Helpful in that they let me take photos of my damaged car for insurance purposes & let me take my items from my car. Could do with some company signs on the roadside entrance to make it just that little bit easier to find.

We broke down towing a caravan on the M1 near Leicester early on Sunday morning on our way to the New Forest . After contacting Brittania , Andy was the second of three recovery drivers who attended to get us back to York. He arrived promptly at the second pick up point at Trowell onward to Woodhall. Electric BMW i3 would not unlock due to electronic failure burrows came out with trailer and the driver advised me how to fix the problem took trailer back and did not charge that is amazing these days I can say that's good honest service its lockdown April 2020 stratstone derby would not help.

They were nice and organised. Cannot fault the service. Unfortunately they tried to charge £75 for disposal of the vehicle. I organised a scrapper to pick it up and they gave me money for it. I understand it's not a scrap merchant however they could have advised this course of action I think. EDIT: I used Browns Autobreakers, Waddington. They will pick your vehicle up and give you money for disposal.
