My car was making an intermittent clunking noise. I booked the car in to have it checked out using the very easy and convenient appointment system online. However, the day of the booking, the car wasn’t making any noises and no fault was found. I have difficulty trusting garages having been stung in the past with unessential work. They did my MOT and service last year too and feel confident that the job was done to a high standard. Sadly, cost is a bit of an issue at times, so we often have to use cheaper garages to have work done. Friendly knowledgeable staff, will definitely use again.

Took our two cars for MOTs on same day. We arrived early which wasn't a problem for them, so we could go into town for a few hours rather than wait. They were very courteous both at drop off and collection and emailed both xar health check results etc. Once again great service from Halfords and can very highly recommend them to all.

Ordered 3 new Bridgestones for my Rav4, Halfords had a 10% off offer on, this made them cheapest online. Had them fitted at the Doncaster branch who were very polite and courteous, I dropped the car off and came back one hour later and it was all done and waiting for me. An excellent job and one happy customer.

Bought a new front number plate from the Halfords store just up the road on North Bridge , but discovered that one of the screws holding the old plate had disintegrated & couldn't be unscrewed . Called in at the Autocentre a couple of days later & explained my predicament & they managed to sort it straight away . Nice & friendly people there & very impressed with the service given .

First Time using Halfords, would normally go to a main dealer but due to their inflated prices thought I'd shop around. Pleasantly surprised with the level of service, friendliness and professionalism received today. Would definitely recommend and will be using again.

Did my MOT, service and repairs within the day, which was a pleasant surprise. Car initially would have failed the MOT, but they could fix it there and then and during the service, the fuel pipe broke due to being corroded. They managed to get the part and fix it within a few hours of the last phone call, so I got the car back the same day. The staff were all super polite; I would recommend anyone to go there and will be back.

Phoned up customer service for me to drop my car off, day before my mot. Got there and Cameron never got told about me dropping it off before hand. So that’s lack of communication on the CS side!! Cameron managed to find space for my car to be locked up over night and within an hour of opening the next morning, he sorted my car out. 10/10 of top service from Cameron and the team in the Autocentre. Good price, but poor finish quality. The adhesive that was applied was left all over the wheel rim. I was also told by the technician that my existing tyre was not a run-flat. Upon not-so-close inspection, it actually has the word ‘run flat’ on it... poor form. The sales assistant was excellent though, really polite and called me as soon as possible after the work had been carried out.

Very quick and efficient service here, I had some repairs done on my car, during the 15 point check (£15) a couple of more repairs were highlighted, the technician only did these extra repairs once he asked me if I wanted them doing, also no appointment is needed.

Attended halfords autocentre today in Doncaster with no appointment due to concerns that my car was tipping slightly when moving to the left which was most apparent on the motorway. It felt as if the car was going to tip on its side. The two staff were extremely efficient and knowledgeable and showed me what could be causing this after test driving and checking my Audi A1. The staff showed me that there was a missing bolt near the left drivers wheel. The staff attended another garage to source a bolt for me, and grind this down to fit my car until sourcing a genuine audi part for this to ensure my car was safe to drive which I need daily for work driving 76 miles a day. Could not have been happier with the service and will be returning for services and MOTs.

Went in yesterday after I noticed my headlamp bulb was not working. The staff there dealt with it immediately and whilst they were doing this I noticed an extremely high level of customer care from both people in reception to everyone who came in / phones. Very impressive.

Had a problem arise after another national company fitted me a tyre. after a few times returning back and forth the company said it was possibly something to do with my "tpms" sensor but they didn't deal with this, amazed to find a tyre company did not fix tyre problems i googled and found that halfords could possibly help. I telephoned my nearest branch at doncaster and spoke to a guy called Cameron watson, he had a confident and reassuring manner and asked me to pop in and he would look into fixing it, this i did, when i arrived the branch had just closed but he looked at the car dashboard etc and said that he could fix it. I returned the following morning , nothing was too much trouble he explained what and how in easy to follow terms and proceeded to rectify the fault. The staff are a credit to halfords and i would highly recommend using them. One happy and satisfied customer.

It was my first time that I have ever used Halfords autocentre and I can honestly say, I would use again. My car was in for MOT and air conditioning. Staff were polite and informative.

I booked in for a deep clean of my DPF which was blocked and caused my 2011 focus to go into limp mode. I returned to my car out of limp mode, the work had been done and I even got a bottle of cleaning fluid to put in my tank of fuel...not only that but one of the lads even helped me get it in because ford’s have that capless fuel tank on diesels! I have always considered Halfords to be expensive but it was at least £40 cheaper than any local dealers and they made me feel right at home. I’ve converted to Halfords from now on!

Took my Cupra for an oil top up. The guy behind the desk.... yes mate, how can i help you? Wow, and theres me thinking that these places are trying to be a little more upmarket. Then he could not find my Car, even with it being a 19 plate. Anyway a other guy came along and tbf he was better, after him telling me my car had either 168bhp or 184bhp?? I said no, its 300bhp they both looked at me and said 300bhp, Yes, i stated. Then they found it. Then within 5 mins, job done.
