Absolutely fabulous customer support and assistance. We recently had a problem that damaged our E&P levellers that had been fitted by this company. After a phone call and discussion with the extremely helpful team, we were able to complete our camp and a booking made to diagnose and fix the issue. On arrival at SAP,s facility we were well looked after and kept informed whilst work was completed. I cannot over emphasise how professional and diligently the work was completed. Parts were fabricated and a bespoke fix completed, getting us back on the road to complete our holiday. Brilliant. I thoroughly recommend this team. Their customer service and work ethos is to be applauded.

Went in for a minor service on the jacks and was treat like I’d just spent £1000’s there. Rachel Crundell was a star and spent a bit of time showing me how the jacks were to be correctly deployed and the use of the air suspension (Alko) deploying the jacks which was very enlightening. Overall a fantastic experience and would definitely use SAP again👍

Update Aug 2022: had to pop in to SAP for Mick to address an issue with our screen and cradle. Once again Mick and the crew did a sterling job fixing our issue and provided a first class service. Oct 2020: In for E&P levelling system fitting. The recommendations online for this company speaks for itself. Mick met me at the compound gate on Sunday evening to allow me to stay overnight in the safety of the compound. They were professional throughout the whole process. Rick walked me round the system when I picked up the van a couple of days later. 4.5 hour drive to get this done but worth every minute. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Hi there, we are travelers from switzerland, on the road with a campervan california T6.1 through the UK. We had a huge problem with our airsuspension system. As we showed up (without pre-calling/announcement), within few minutes Rob and his team took time to help us, even if they had very much work to do. We could wait in a small and tidy waitingroom for customers. We really felt like VIP! They diagnosed the problem of the airsuspension system, dealt with other countries to find the maching piece, ordered it and handled all the administrations and warranty stuff. The next day we could bring our car and they repaired it. Unbelievable all in one service within 24h houres. It was great, really! We are so greatful for everthing they did. Everybody in the team we dealt with was so nice and kind. They made the very best out of our situation. We really want to thank the hole team for saving our journey so we could go on travelling!

Just had E&P levelling, full air suspension and an air con unit fitted to my Rapido A class. Dealt with Rick in sales who sorted everything out without a hitch. Mick fabricated a trim to hide the screw holes in the headlining from the old roof light, which was removed to fit the air con unit...very impressive job all round! We had semi air-suspension fitted and changed leisure batteries to lithium, and other required work. It is a long journey for us from "down South"! But they had been highly recommended by some friends. We cannot fault from discussion, ordering, carrying out the work and aftercare. Just had an EP Levelling system fitted and front coil springs replaced on my Swift Kontiki 635 2018 model, the service I received was exceptional and the work was to a very high standard. From the moment I arrived to the point of picking my Motorhome up the following day the team at SAP could not do enough for you, it was obvious the customer came first and they all took a great deal of pride in their work. We had a levelling system fitted to our Hymer motorhome in October of this year. Due to being abroad, I dealt with Rick and colleagues on the phone and the dealer took the vehicle to have the system fitted. From the outset, I found all staff to be friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All my questions were answered promptly. My willingness to use this company from abroad was based on reading previous excellent reviews. I can only echo all the comments I have read, my additional excellent review is well deserved. The levelling system is essential for us as we are ‘full timers’. It performs exactly as expected and is well worth the cost. In conclusion, the EP levelling system is a first class bit of kit, fitted by an excellent company.

Mick and the team at SAP have just fitted a specialist tow bar to our motor home, which he had to source especially from a dealer in Europe because it wasn't available in the UK. At the same they fitted an E&P levelling system and did the electrics for towing as well. Great job done and very easy and nice people to deal with. Mick was really helpful when we collected and spent time going through the controls and checking we had coupled up our A-Frame correctly, ready for the journey home. I would highly recommend SAP.

We could have chosen an installer about 20 miles away but after reading reviews, searching forums and much deliberation we decided to drive 240 miles to SAP Doncaster to have an EP Levelling System fitted to our motorhome. The service we received from the very first phone call was nothing other than outstanding. We were made to feel as if we were the most important of customers and felt at ease during the two days we were there. The whole team were friendly and true professionals and at no time did we feel rushed during the handover as they were keen that we fully understood the system operation before leaving. I can't recommend this company enough! Mick is potentially a real life saver.....literally! We were touring England with our caravan (we're from N Ireland) and experienced problems with our EP system. One of the rams to level the caravan malfunctioned and activated when we were travelling and caught on the road. Luckily we were travelling at a low speed as this could have caused a major accident! The manufacturer was of no help whatsoever and we were left in dire straights. Upon contacting Mick he immediately offered to assist us despite having no availability in his workload. The repair was carried out professionally and we had no further problems. Mick even followed up to ensure we had no further difficulties. We found Mick and his team not only to be highly professional and thorough but more than helpful and accommodating to a couple in desperate need of assistance. We recently purchased a new to us motorhome, we always had issues with our old van and the rear overhang catching on ferries, level crossings and even some campsites, but being an older Alko chassis (tag) our options were limited, so when buying our new van, which although has a longer overhang, being on a truck chassis (Iveco 65c18) we did think we wouldn't ground out so much, but we did, S.A.P came highly recommended to us by RS motorhomes, the manufacturer of our RS Endeavour, so after several conversations which Mick and Rob as to what our options were, we decided to go for full air suspension, expensive but boy is it worth it, not only don't we catch anymore, thanks to an improved ride height and ferry lift option, it has totally transformed the ride quality, not more shake rattle and roll, more like a magic carpet, the work was carried out to a very high standard and all the staff are very informative, nothing seemed to much trouble, even after what appeared to have been several troublesome nuts on our older motorhome, whatever your requirements if S.A.P can do it, we would highly recommend you go to them.

I recently had a hydraulic hose failure on my E&P levellers and we were in central Italy more than 500km from the nearest approved service agent. I decided to ring Mick at Specialist Automotive Products for advise. Even though he had not done my installation Mick went to great efforts to help. After about half an hours' thought he returned my call with three suggested engineering companies in a town 10km away. Also details of hose and hydraulic oil specifications plus full instructions on how to bleed the system after hose replacement. That afternoon I visited the first suggested engineers and by the end of the day I again had fully operational leveller. I cannot recommend SAP more highly as Mick could not have been more helpful.

Despite supplier issues due to Covid 19 I was kept informed and booked in at their earliest opportunity. It was worth the wait to have the VB full air 4C air suspension fitted to my motorhome. The meet and greet was very efficient and the explanation of the system and controls on collection was very distinct. The ride on the way home was more comfortable than expected and we are looking forward to using the other benefits of this system. A special thanks goes to Rick. UPDATE: Having managed to go on a couple of trips in our motorhome I can confirm how easy it has been to raise the back so we avoid scraping the bike rack on the road as we reverse off our drive, level up on arrival and raise one side so we can empty the water tanks fully. All with the push of a button. It makes everything so easy.

We have a Morelo Palace with VB full air suspension and Mick and his great team have just retro fitted the VB ActiveAir suspension system to our van. Put simply, the ActiveAir has transformed the driveability of the Motelo. Its a "must have" feature for vans if this size and bigger. Mick and the team did an outstanding job and I couldn't recommend them highly enough! The installation did prove to be a little problematical for SAP as one of the delivered components was faulty. However, what shone out throughout our experience with SAP was how Mick handled the difficult challenges thrown up and kept us fully informed at all times. A true 5 star business!

After 4 years of great service my air ride was losing a few psi over several weeks on the near side. Met them at the national motorhome show and they told me to come up and we they will fix it whatever the problem. No mention of time since they fitted it or warranty periods. Arrived as agreed at 07.30am and left after 45 minutes all fixed with a minor adjustment. No charge just really great customer service and the nicest people you will ever meet. This is the second great value job SAS have done on my motorhome. (They fitted a spare wheel carrier which has saved me acres of wasted space in the storage locker) Thanks again.

Fantastic service at a good price Used SAP in November 2018 to get levellers fitted to my twin axle caravan. I was so impressed with their service and attention to detail etc that I have just been back to get a rooftop Truma Comfort air conditioner fitted. Once again they excelled. From the owner downwards every member of staff go out of their way to ensure that you are 100% satisfied. I asked questions such as how do the seals work? How do you stop water ingress through the roof? I got a really detailed answer which included how they went above and beyond the basic rubber seals supplied by Truma. They take a great pride in what they do and will spend extra time doing the job in the best possible way. Good enough is not good enough for them. If there is a better way to do the job to ensure a high quality finish then that is what they will do. Thank you to all the team at SAP for great customer service once again.

Air suspension fitted. Shorter length of time than anticipated.. Excellent service, took us to Adwick station to get the train to Doncaster for our overnight stay. Then collected the next day when motorhome completed. Rick went through the air suspension system fully with us prior to leaving which enabled us to set up the motorhome for the drive back to Brownhills and auto level the motorhome.. no more chocks to carry.. Ride was much smoother, and handled lovely. Highly recommend.

SAP install quality products, in a thoroughly professional way. I have had the pleasure of visiting their workshops, which are very clean, tidy, and we'll equipped, on a number of ocasions. One such occasion, was to have the excellent VB air suspension fitted, which has been a truly amazing, and faultless, luxury addition to our motor home, for the last 3 years. A couple of years ago Specialist Automotive Products fitted an E&P Hydraulic jacking and system to our Bailey Caravan. I have walking and bending problems making it the perfect system to level the caravan. A push of One button on the E&J remote and a minute later the caravan is perfectly level. Fast forward to this year, coming home from France, and rather nasty high speed bump and one of the Hydraulic rams was severely damaged. A call to Mick Lightly, an early diagnosis over the phone and booked in for a 3 hour repair job. Everyone who works there gave excellent service and made me most welcome. They are experts in their field. Most highly recommended.

It's not often I feel I need to write a review (ok I'm hard to impress) but this is one of those occasions where the superb customer service along side top quality engineering needs to be acknowledged. Following the purchase of our new Frankia Platin Motorhome on a Mercedes chassis from SMC - I debated about having full air on the rear as probably you are - which is why you are doing your research & trying to get some reassurance that you are spending your money wisely. I decided to go for the VB Air assist on the rear & Mick suggested VB springs on the front. All this was completed in one day with the upmost care & professionalism resulting in a transformed ride way beyond what I could have expected - hoping it would go some way in reducing the Mercedes wallowing (well known for this), I was stunned I took measurements of the front & rear ground clearance before and after: Front ride height restored it sits 40mm higher than before & with 2.5 - 3.0 bar in the air assist the rear sits 55mm higher (adjustable depending on pressure). On this vehicle the ride has been transformed no more wallowing more responsive handling resulting in a safer more confident feel & even more comfortable dare I say. I cannot recommend this company enough & for me I will be putting the money I saved from not having full rear Air towards E&P self levelling in the near future which will obviously be fitted by the team at SAP. On another note it was great to see disabled toilets & accesable lounge.

More stability better ride and Frank never looks loaded even when we fully packed with my Honda PCX125 on the rear rack. Would say good money spent.
