Absolutely flawless the guys at origin took care of an clutch issue I had on my fiat van 100% first class service, both on the phone with updates on how the work is going and when I picked my van up it’s as good as new and how it should be , and very reasonable priced as well I can’t recommend this place enough

Good garage for car performance modifications and also MOT services. Sometimes electrical work isn't great but staff are very understanding to redo the job. Done Mt mini cooper gearbox/ clutch / flywheel, turbos, intercooler, guys had some issues installing large oil filter and large radiator thoug. Other stuff with intercooler were great 👍🏻

I could not rate this place highly enough! Tucked away in the Durham business park it’s a hidden gem; I nipped in on a Saturday to see if. Could book in for a repair and Graham was very helpful and advised one of the other mechanics would take a look there and then. It was quickly repaired and the price was very reasonable. Really impressed with the service and communication - will definitely use again and recommend. Thank you!

We had a last minute emergency and called by off chance at 4.30!! Nothing was too much trouble. The service was great the customer service fab and the price was amazing! Hands down the best garage in Durham. Really nice set of lads who know their stuff about all makes an models of car, it's amazing how much of a diagnosis they can give you just over the phone! Superb value for money, great communication skills they keep you informed every step of the way on costs and how progress is going so there's no nasty surprises at the end. Not the first time I have used Origin and again I was not disappointed. Graeme and his team gave first class communication, keeping me informed of how the job was progressing from beginning to end. Price was very competitive, the reception area is clean and welcoming and the job was completed to a timely fashion. In fact the car has come out better than new in terms of steering as they corrected an alignment issue too. Recommended, I will use them again.

Graeme and his team have always been super friendly and helpful, from the first phonecall. I came to them with advice on buying a car, and then brought my car (Ford Focus) to them with any problem it had. They could always fix it on the day, very fast, high quality work. Even when I had a flat tyre, Graeme came to pick me up and brought a pump to fix my tyre till i drove to the garage. I had 100% trust and confidence with them, they have always been honest with me even when a repair was not worth it for me on my car. I moved away from that area now, but I can 100% recommend them to anyone with any car and any problem! Completely trustworthy, excellent, quick, friendly and fun people!

Absolutely fantastic service provided by these guy's!!! My Honda Civic's clutch problem was diagnosed and fixed very quickly at a great price. A faulty light bulb was also replaced and Joanne in reception couldn't have been more helpful keeping me informed throughout. Thanks again and will definitely reccomend and use again 🙂

Great stuff from the guys here at Origin! I run a car sales business in the midlands and we had a customer who needed a local garage to him that was competitive on a nationwide scale to fit a clutch into a VXR as a warranty claim. Origin were professional enough to keep us updated via email with estimates, progress and final billing. They were fairly priced and got everything done efficiently. Perfectly run garage!

I brought my car to Origin Automotive after it failed it's MOT due to a fuel leak and another garage told me that the car wasn't worth the cost of a new fuel tank. Origin were able to fit me in that day and after examining my car found it was only the pipe that needed replacing. They dealt with the repairs quickly and did a service and MOT and now my car is running perfectly again. The staff were great and the cost is fair. Would highly recommend to anyone having car trouble.

Was travelling down from Sheffield to Falkirk when our car a vauxhall astra had problems with the water pump. Rac sent us to them. Car around 12.45 and was ready around 3ish with a new water pump. I think the repairs I did at this place were too pricey, however after a bit of look around I can see that it is the case in most of the garages in the area... I might come back to Origin for diagnosis, but parts replacement is much better to do by myself. my previous more harsh review: All I can say that it takes them two (2) hours of costly labour to replace a simple thermostat in a Rover 25. And also my slowly dying head gasket is "absolutely fine" even though after the repairs the car drinks oil and coolant like a professional drunkard.
