I’ve been going to Abbeyhill Garage for a good few years now, where I get my car MOT and serviced, at reasonable and fare cost, as well as a recent repair after while driving the clutch gave in, it was replaced and I was back on the road good as new. Thanks to Peter and his professional team of mechanics. I’ve always been impressed by their support in keeping me safe on the road in my car. 👍

Our car was doing fine when we came from Belfast and went to London until we arrived in Edinburgh to stay for some nights our car made a rattling/humming noise from below in traffic we didn't know what was causing this noise so we went home and didn't use the car for 2 days because it was weekend and we were too controversial to use the car due to it making that noise. So then after that 2 days we called the AA we also noticed a punchered tire so we asked them to fix it. After they fixed it we told them about the noise coming from the bottom they didn't know what it was so the same day we went to Abbeyhill garage to fix the problem. after we came back the problem was fixed shorter than we expected and we were relived and the best part is they charged us a very good reasonable price they were very honest, professional, friendly people. I give credits to a man named Peter probably a very professional working man he saved our journey and I'm guessing he is the boss god bless you Peter and your work.

Highly recommend. After an awful experience with another local garage I found Abbeyhill Garage online as I am not from the area. They recovered my vehicle and had the problem located and fixed within a few hours. Can't really praise them enough... There are always so many stories going around about rogue car dealers/mechanics that finding a reliable, courteous, competitively priced and local garage is a real pleasure. I have been back now 5 times over the last 4 years for MOT's on 3 different cars. The staff have always been friendly and willing to explain what needs doing. The thing that sold it for me the first time and subsequently when walking past (which i do 2 or 3 times a week) is that they are always busy. It doesn't seem to stop them being able to fit me in at my convenience, not theirs. I would definitely recommend this garage as a centrally located, convenient, independent gem!

Whilst on a road trip to Isle of Skye, we required a suspension coil replacement due to the many pot holes we encountered. After calling nearly every mechanic and garage from the Isle of Skye, Fort William and Edinburgh and being told the wait timing for the repair would be at least a week, we were fortunate enough to get in contact with Abbeyhill Garage. As soon as we arrived in Edinburgh the team at Abbeyhill got straight to work on fixing the car and within a couple of hours, we were back on the road again. We really appreciate the time and effort they put in to helping us and we highly recommend Abbeyhill Garage to any and every car owner that ever finds themselves in Edinburgh.

i phoned the guys at abbeyhill garage as was planning to go away for the holiday week end,i had a problem with my golf, the part was not availble they sent there apprentice to find a second hand part at a dismantlers to get me on my way, they did not charge me for this and cannot praise the guys enough for this help thanks again
