So although not directly through me, but done on behalf of AIM Motors. They had my Audi A6 in with a quote major automatic gearbox issue (major oil leak + No gear selection). They've done a brilliant job diagnosing and repairing the issue and had everything done with 4 days with quite a brilliant quality of work and service, absolute brilliant job. Would recommend if anyone needs automotive services!

We have been taking out car to Evans Halshaw for many years only to find out that if there are any problems with the automatic transmission they can't fix it. They left me to find a garage to fix the problem, not an easy job. Our car broke down and we had to get it towed home. I phoned ECS and they were able to recover the vehicle from my home and assess the problem. When I called to find out what was happening with the car they were able to update me on the progress or lack of, I was happy with the honesty I was given even if there were delays it was good to know what was happening. We had thought it was originally the transmission so was expecting a massive bill but I got a call to say they found it was the clutch and my total bill was only going to cost me £1500 for this fix and the other work they had done, this was half the original estimate for the work getting done, so was an amazing relief. I still owe them a box of chocolates!! The approachable and friendly staff was something I liked about going here, I've never felt comfortable in a garage due to the lack of knowledge I have regarding car maintenance but I'll definitely be back here in the future.

I have recently visited ECS garage for an MOT and was over the moon with the service. I was in a panic since I didn’t realise my MOT was due to expire but after a google search, I called up ECS who managed to get me booked in for the next day! They carried out the MOT on my car which unfortunately failed.. I received a call after the MOT completion where I got a thorough breakdown of all failing and advisories and was kept in the loop with all incurring costs. Overall the process was smooth and the main thing was I trusted the guys with my car.. I got the car back in perfect working condition and will definitely be a regular future customer here. Thank you so much to the ECS team!

Not all heroes wear capes - some are mechanics! After driving 80miles to Edinburgh in torrential rain, I ran into trouble when my window wipers suddenly stopped working - leaving me unable to drive as I couldn't see out of the window at all. The absolute superstars at Edinburgh Car Services were kind enough to take me in late in the day despite being busy, to diagnose the problem and managed to get my wipers secured enough to get me back home safely. I cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and help in getting me back on the road, couldn't recommend highly enough!

We had a brilliant service at this garage today. We actually booked to have a new tyre fitted but the mechanic told us that he would be able to repair our existing tyre and then refunded the tyre we purchased and didn’t charge for the repair. Felt valued as a customer, procedure was explained, clear on pricing, the time the work would take and true to their word car was ready. Finally found a garage I feel safe to take my business, thank you! 1st visit - had a bad experience at another garage and was anxious to go anywhere. Straight away they explained process of MOT, arranged a time and date (within 2 working dates) work done within 2 hours. Collected car which passed with advisories. All advisories fully explained including what cost with NO pressure to use their services. Business admin was very professional and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend!

My car was miss firing then a engine warning light came on called Edinburgh car services spoke to the staff and got it booked in the next day. Needed to replace coils and plugs was charged £300 for the parts and labour on my Peugeot 2008 very happy with the work & price was completed in under an hour. Had a DSG gearbox issue with my cupra for many months and after having no luck with the main dealers at seafield.... I decided to find a local garage. And they did not disappoint, almost instantly sussed out what they thought may be the issue, they happily kept the car in after a quick diagnostics session. Booked in over the phone as I needed new brake pads (front and rear) for my car, were very open and honest and gave me a price over the phone. He solved all the issues previously not discovered by and he also spent time explaining the works done it and suggesting the best for my pocket and my car. My timing belt went at a very difficult time and my engine totally broke. Mohamed (Mo) who is a genius at the garage was able to rebuild the engine no problem. All the guys (Taz, Shane, Mo, Erk, Adam and all are very friendly and very accommodating. Their price too was moderate. Now the engine is working like brand new. I will strongly recommend this garage. And yes no car can beat Erk and Mo.

Had the pleasure to deal with these guys . They are very polite honest and do they job well and quickly!!! Went in with noise coming from my wheel (suspecting wheel bearing) and timing belt which was due. Got excellent price for the belt and bearing. Following day received a phone call saying my van is ready for collection and was told that noise was caused by loosen bolts and was not charge a penny for inspection or anything else. Well done guys keep up the the good work!!!

Great value and honest garage. I came here originally to have a radiator replaced after the Toyota dealership messed me about. Alan was great at explaining the options and got the job done done far quicker than expected. I've just been back for an MOT and had a similarly good experience. Garages like this are hard to come by in my experience.

Ok here`s the story - We took our car to a "branded " well known establishment for an exhaust problem to be told that the whole lot would have to be replaced including the catalytic convertor , At that point I thought second opinion needed so found Edinburgh Car Services and they couldn't have been more helpful - Told me that there was nothing wrong with my catalytic convertor and the price they quoted me was £200 less than the original , Parts were ordered and they fixed my car the following day on time whilst I took the dog for a walk !!!!! . They stated that their moto was "honesty and transparency " and I found that was certainly the case with us , So Alan and Ryan a big thank you from us and the dog !!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work ,

Called on the Friday, they managed to get me in on the Monday and got my car back in Tuesday morning at a very competitive price. I was kept up to speed with what the fault was and how much it will cost in total. They were so good that I handed in my friends Mercedes for a health check and picked mine up at same time. Called them on the Monday afternoon about the Mercedes wanting a health check and was told to bring it in the next day. Price I was quoted for a complete health check was brilliant. I can't fault the service and pricing I received, I am so pleased that I have found a trustable garage that is very close to me. From now on I will be sticking with Edinburgh Car Services.
