After a trip to glasgow I broke down coming home to Newcastle. 94 miles from home nobody would entertain me at any cost due to a busy and freezing night. This company did. They took my car direct to my local garage and at 1/3 of the cost I was quoted by companies who could not do it for 48 hours. I got the train home as I had work BUT they beat me there with my car! Outstanding and highly recommended! Happy to be contacted with more detail!

I called Iain to see if he would be able to take my car up to the garage as it wasn't starting and I also had a puncture I'd been neglecting for a while so couldn't tow it. He was there within just over an hour and text soon after to let me know my car had been dropped off. He was very fast, friendly and helpful, even having a quick look over the car himself before he took it. Definitely recommend and would call him again 😊

Highly recommend! Called for vehicle recovery as unable to start car due to remote key issues and told by dealer it would have to be taken to garage. Ian initially gave me a very competitive quote for this service but after establishing the problem he called mobile Keyz Locksmiths on my behalf who arrived promptly and recoded my fobs thus saving me the cost and inconvenience of having car towed to garage. Had the pleasures of something going bang and grinding on our car near my place of work. Gave these guys a phone and they were incredibly helpful. Iain went out of his way to drive all the way across town and back again to collect our car on a flatbed. There's a lot of companies like this that will do these services, but a lot aren't insured or covered properly by insurance putting you at risk, and those are risks I can do without with a car bill as it is. Use the right people, like these guys. Fantastic service, great prices and really knowledgable and friendly staff. Will be recommending to anyone with a breakdown in the future.

My car stopped working. I tried restarting it with a booster but it didn't work. I decided to send it in to the dealer to get repaired and I called these guys to tow it there. I said if they could get it going please let me know as there would be no need to tow it away. They got it going and drove it back to my house for me. Competent service, flexible and easy to use. Friendly guy (Martin) who was knowledgeable about the car and tested the battery. Since there was nothing wrong with the battery he saved my money but not having to take it in to be repaired. It's great when businesses work well like this one.

Called EVR and got through right away. The proprietor was excellent, he gave me clear details of the service and a reasonable price. We arranged to collect early on Monday morning after speaking with him at the weekend and was prompt, efficient and extremely polite. I hope to never be in a position to use a service like this again but if I do then I’ve got EVR in my phone and they will be my first call. Better than national recovery and a lot more friendly, helpful and professional. I can’t praise Edinburgh Vehicle Recovery enough. My son needed to take his car to the garage. The car had not been started in over a year and he couldn’t even get the door to open. Iain first helped us over the phone to get the car open using the blade key then came within an hour to pick up the car. Iain was very easy to deal with and couldn’t have been more helpful. Amazing service broke down yesterday waiting 4 hours for rac to come out and tell me they couldn’t help . Car suddenly wouldn't start and a million lights started flashing on my dash so called Edinburgh Vehicle Recovery who could not have been more helpful. Came within a half hour and towed me home - but not only that, he called round his mates to get some advice as to what the problem might be and no only that, he got someone who would come out and take a look at my car the next day to see what the problem was. So helpful given I had absolutely no idea what to do. Would 100% recommend and would use again, although hopefully won't need to!

I cannot tell you how impressed I was with Iain on this recovery. I broke down on the way to Edinburgh airport with a flight to catch. Also it was on the Edinburgh Bypass which is in itself a fairly frightening experience with the heavy traffic but Iain took control of the whole situation. He arrived quickly and without fuss. Then arranged for me to be taken to the airport to ensure I did not miss my flight and recovered the car to a local garage. That in itself is a 5 star service but he then went above and beyond again by arranging the repair to the truck very quickly and even met me off my return flight at the airport with the truck fixed. I have never come across a more professional and personable guy in years. Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish and also a huge shout out to the garage who did the work quickly and at a very fair price. Cannot recommend Iain, the garage or the company highly enough.
