I was pleased that my request to have an MOT on a particular date could be met. Staff very nice on the phone. However, when I returned to collect car, was met by a young apprentice whose opening words were "Your car has failed." I was quite shocked. Could he not have said instead "The test went very well. Everything was fine apart from a couple of small things which we can easily fix for you." When I suggested this to an older member of staff, he said he would have a word with the young lad and endeavour to improve his own training methods. That was an unexpected and impressive statement. Well done Kwik Fit Morningside!

Amazing customer service. Was in Edinburgh visiting my dad and my engine light came on and was worried about travelling back home to my local garage. After phoning other Kwikfit branches who were too busy to see me, I phoned the Morningside branch and they told me to come down with my car as soon as. They checked over my car and resolved the issue (thankfully nothing serious!), they also done it free of charge which I was very grateful for! Very happy with their service, would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again :)

I took my car to Kwik Fit Morningside late afternoon on Sunday as there was a bad rattling noise coming from the front underneath. Marlena very kindly checked my car without an appointment to make sure my car was safe to drive. It needed 2 parts and although not unsafe recommended it get fixed sooner than later. Her customer care was outstanding. They were busy but she took the time to explain what was wrong. Very courteous, professional and helpful. I called on Monday and my car was booked in first thing on Tuesday. I got it back before closing the same day. I dealt with David the manager. Again professional and friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. I would not think of using another garage. The service I get is always first class.

I booked in online last Sunday to get 2 new tyres fitted which was easy enough. I arrived on time and the car was taken pretty much straight away. The staff were friendly enough, my only issue was the cleanliness of the waiting/reception area. Don't think it's seen a mop or duster for a very long time. Other than that I'd take the car back there if I needed too.

Quite unimpressed, very expensive and constantly trying to upsell me repairs that i know i didn't need (my brother owns a garage and looked at my car the previous week). I just needed a tyre because i got a flat raround Edinburgh but was constantly pestered to replace brakes- i felt really disrespected actually and won't be back. The staff were polite and have no complaints about them but i feel the company culture isn't good.

The old TV advert states "...we are the boys to trust" I beg to differ. Last year I had my 3year old car in for an MOT, passed no worries quick fit boy called me informing me had passed but I should be concerned about my wheel tred why not replace those tires with us was his remit. I said no and when I picked up the car he seemed visibly upset and almost aggressive that I had no intention of replacing my tyres. Those tyres did another one year and still scraped by my next MOT. Ok so I need to replace my tires now so I went to quick fit only because it's right by my work. Car is booked in and price paid online but wait! I find a cheaper price from competitor phoned customer service and to their credit refund me £25 to match. Ok great not so bad after all. Get my tyres done and a phone call saying my front wheels need alignment price £65 I say no of the bat and then check online and and quick fit themselves do it for £35 ?? Chancers!! When I pick up the car white stuff on my tires which is soap so I'm told but why they don't bother to clean it off after a £325 job as it looks awful gawd only knows. They act as if they are the boys to trust but are clearly not most probably just under pressure to make additional revenue

I went to my local Kwik Fit today to see if my headlight bulb could be replaced. It looked very busy but a very helpful chap told me where to park and that he’d be with me after he’d finished lunch. 21/03/22 I have used this garage several times before and was happy until after today's service. It was just simply swapping the rear tyres/wheels to front and vice versa but my alloys ended up with many small scratches!! Obviously the tyreman did NOT bother to be careful not to scratch the alloys when using the wrench and/or the impact driver. Centre caps also obtained scratches! Also the steering wheel was so dirty! He used his dirty gloves to drive my car in and out of the garage and did not wipe/clean the steering wheel after. I'm very unhappy with my damaged BMW alloys! 😞. Very poor workmanship of that particular tyreman who did my car! EDIT (14/04/22) The car was in again today for the compensation from the aforementioned damage/issues. David the manager and another competent tyreman looked after my car and they have managed to regain my trust in this Morningside KwitFit garage.(a "socket with protective sleeve" is used this time, also used plastic sheet for the driver seat,.. both of which were not used by the tyreman in concern whom I would not want to touch my car again next time it is in.)

I got a puncture on the way to a boy’s Sunday football match and did a pit stop here. The guys were really busy but fitted me in when they found out I was going to miss a kid’s game. A new tyre was fitted after about fifteen minutes and I was on my way. Great job guys, awesome job. I only missed a few minutes of the game. 👍😁

Would totally recomend kwik fit. Went there for a diagnosis ( check engine light popped up on the screen), after the check it appears that i need to replace my coolant temperature sensor. The gentleman at the reception( i think Gordon was his name) was very kind enough to tell me that i dont need to pay anything for the check. Very polite and open to answer any questiona that i had. Very satisfied with their services. My car's brakes causing some problems with braking (ABS light on, feeling some resistance on driving). As usual staff were very prompt in dealing with my issues including replacing all 4 tyres. I have been to this Kwikfit previously and they have always been very professional. My only gripe is that after the last service there the indicator stalk was a little bit sticky when I got the car back. I mentioned it to the gentleman dealing with me who was immediately insistent it couldn't have happened during the service. I was merely hoping they would take a look at it to see if something minor had happened although I was made to feel as if I was making it up! Anyway will still recommend these guys as their communication and service has always been honest and forthright.

The manager Mark was extremely helpful, he managed to get my tyres checked nearly immediately. First class service. Just had a rotten week or two, trying to deal with a serious family health scare whilst selling my old car and purchasing a new one. A fair bit of work was required on the old car. This was facilitated and completed at short notice and without fuss. my Dashboard warning lights came on whilst driving to work on Friday indicating an urgent oil change was needed. I took car into Morningside as I needed to drive to Newcastle later that day. For peace of mind I would have paid for the full oil change and filter under the circumstances despite having only done 4000 miles since the last service. However the staff were reluctant to do this without investigation. They checked for leaks and oil levels and all was in order - although the oil level was slightly down. I was advised that the service and oil light schedule had probably not been reset after the last service and reassured me that the car was safe to drive, they advised me to take it back to where I had it serviced and topped my oil up to be on the safe side. It would have been very easy for them to just charge me £95 for an oil change which would have been unnecessary. The staff were extremely polite and helpful despite being very busy. Sorry I didn’t get any names but would not hesitate to recommend.

Very good value. Replaced two tyres and suspension coil springs. All were needed and hence no excess work undertaken. Handy to be open on a Sunday and I was therefore able to ' limp' in with smoke and burning smell coming from my run flat tyre. Parts obtained next day and all work finished by close on Monday. Worthy of giving them the business for my next MOT and service.

Vehicle passed MOT Jan 2019 . Honda gave the breaks a pass in June this year. Had the disc and breaks checked and they are fine. Very concerning

He explained the process, how long it would take and the cost (including the money back/no charge policy) if it didn't work. Not really quite sure if they're totally on top of the job. I used the tyre swap and had to do this online, paying £19 (no option not to pay this) for "Cap & Core if TPMS fitted". I asked about this to find out what it was and the chap said they didn't carry this out as it was not possible and to claim this back at Head Office (I don't believe he would have raised this had I not done so). This I did over the phone (refund by cheque still in process) but the guy at Head Office said that as such systems were more or less mandatory since 2014, Morningside should have done the work. Pretty odd. Morningside also input the wrong mileage on the invoice which I noticed when I got home (17582 instead of 1758). A little thing but you wonder how many little things the branch slips up on. I also think they could clean the tyres up after they fit them - a 5 minute job to do and not much to ask after you've spent £134. If I ran the place I would do it. I'll still use the branch as they manage to do the big stuff OK but make sure I keep a close eye on things as I suspect a drop in standards.

Something chewed the wires under my bonnet for injection system, was told by another garage i needed to wait two weeks to get the car seen and pay £110 just to have a look at the car. Overall I just had to pay £60 to have the wire replaced and collected the car a few hours later.

Phoned in to get a quote for my dad's cars punctured tyre was quoted 25 for a repair and 50-75 for a new tyre . Puncture was repaired within minutes of my arrival and was offered tea and coffee while I waited , best thing about it was it only cost £10 to repair the puncture. Kwik fit as it's called.
