Amazing communication. I took my friend's car to this garage during an RAC roadside breakdown and Richard was extremely accommodating on the call, even though we would only get there after their closing time. As they were very busy I expected a response by Friday, however Ross diagnosed the problem within a very short time and within two days we knew exactly how to proceed. Unfortunately due to the age of this car and the monetary value of the repairs, they are not able to repair it however, they didn't charge for their time like most other garages would. We are extremely grateful for their professionalism and moral ethics during this short experience and I would highly recommend that everyone use Metro Auto Centre. Ask for Richard or Ross and I'm sure you'll be well pleased with their automatic courtesy.

red temperature light came on my car on a road nearby, and popped in on the off chance to see if they had any engine coolant. The garage could not have been more friendly or helpful, they filled my bottle with coolant, saved me a long walk to B&M, and I was extremely grateful for their act of kindness. Moved to Edinburgh a couple of years ago and struggled to find an honest, reliable garage. Had some issues with my exhaust and took it to the guys down at Metro auto centre. Got lots of great advice and options and when I decided to replace the exhaust system the guys really bent over backwards to get it fixed for me at a more than reasonable price. Ended up being a third of what Kwik Fit were going to charge! Definitely got themselves a customer for life while I live in Edinburgh.

Fantastic! the car had an issue which other 5 garages (including chain and well known garages) in Edinburgh refused to deal with. They took it on fixed it (along with other minor problems) and when it came to the price ... it was 30% cheaper than my most conservative forecast . Well chuffed and will be taking my other car there as well. No point delaing with chain garages when you get an honest, independend one right there.

I phoned up last week to ask if Metro could help with an ignition problem. (Metro have previously repaired and serviced two cars for me.) Paul explained the options and recommended Ian Bonnyman an auto electrician off Easter Rd as the best placed to do the work. As a result I paid £80 for Ian to solve the problem, whereas the main dealer had quoted me £525!

I’ve used the team at Metro for the last four years for my MOT’s and they are top drawer. Always helpful explaining what needs done and why, and always checking with me first in terms of costs etc., and then the work gets done in lightning time. If you need anything done to sort your car or even just need a bit of advice (I am clueless about cars!), pop in and ask for Richard, him and his team will definitely help you out and their customer service is superb.

Year after year same great service, and honesty. Was been told by a dealership, after a product recall, that my car needed extensive work done on it. Withheld from it for 11 months until Metro did my next MOT, only to be told to hold onto my money as the work is not yet needed especially taking into account my low mileage per year.
