I was looking to get a prototype autonomous electric vehicle serviced for Edinburgh University Formula Student (admittedly a relatively unusual request). After several weeks of other mechanics failing to turn up, I called Pete. Pete replied and arranged a meeting quickly. He did a very thorough inspection of the vehicle for a reasonable price. If I was to describe Pete’s service in three words, it would be: reliable, thorough and helpful! I would highly recommend Pete to anyone needing a mobile mechanic. We will certainly be using his service again.

What can i say about Pete. he is very professional and what i couldn't believe is that he had my disks and pads off my insignia and new ones back on within an hour an half. he also came to my place of work as that was more convenient for myself and Pete. Pete is a top notch mechanic , friendly and goes a extra mile . I will not use another mechanic and recommend Pete , he is a honest and trustworthy professional with all the gear needed in his car . 1st job was changing my brakes , 2nd was a engine fault a misfire , and had to change the cam gears , timing belt etc on the engine , 3rd changed broken suspension arms . Got a very decent quote to fit a new alternator. Pete was able to come out the next day, but told me the part I'd ordered was no good. Sent it back and got another, which he came back and fitted next day again. Professional, friendly and helpful. Will definitely call on again.

Starter motor went on my Ford Focus. Pete came out on a Saturday and diagnosed the fault. He was back out on the Monday to fit it and was able to get out earlier than predicted. Reasonably priced. Would 100% use again. Thank you

Extremely happy with the work pete carried out, my car was sitting for around 14 months and had a dead battery and needed new break pads, I contacted Pete and he got the work completed very quickly, genuinely very pleased with the work, price, and timescale Pete got it done in, he gave me great advice regarding my questions about my car, also my car was very mucky and dusty from sitting for 14 months and he even cleaned it for me while waiting as I was running late to meet him for the keys, 100% I will use Pete again and will also be recommending him.

Great service..highly recommend I had a broken rear coil spring on my vehicle and needed both sides repairing, I found Pete Squires whilst trying to find a garage that could fit me in, I called Pete and had the repair done very quickly and conveniently within 48hrs which considering it was a Friday evening I thought was very good, the price was extremely good and the quote I was given was the price I paid, car was repaired at my home very quickly by Pete he was very polite and friendly with no fuss whatsoever, repairs were carried out to the highest standard.....I will definitely use Pete again.

Peter is the sort of professional you want to look after your car. Even with more complicated things he will use his seemingly never ending patients to address the problem, he very much deals with the problems I've had with the car as though it was his own. It's also a relief that if the car can't be driven there is someone like Pete to come round! That's all on top of him being very prompt and easy to discuss issues with. Thanks to the various issues I've had with my car , he is pretty much more friend rather than tradesman! thanks Pete.
