They have been consistently helpful, they never do unnecessary work and constantly amaze me with their very reasonable fees. I would not take my car anywhere else.

I had taken my Mazda Bongo van in for a servicing at a really reasonable rate compared to some of the other garages I went too, AND they actually provide you with some useful knowledge on what some of the common issues are with your vehicle, and then don't overcharge you for simple jobs unlike some other garages. This is what really sets Pilrig Motors apart from the rest. Giving you a detailed, yet not overly complicated explanation of the issues with your vehicle then giving you a fair price. I've recommended this garage to friends and family and now you. You will not be disappointed.
J. F.Having been ripped off during a service from Arnold Clark, I went about finding a new garage. The other half came across this little shop/garage with bright yellow facia walls tucked halfway up Leith Walk when our car battery died and we had to buy another one. They have a shop that sits on Leith Walk where you can buy lots of car parts and they have a garage at the back of the premises. Pilrig Motors is owned and run by 3 brothers, who have in the 7 years I've been going there, been nothing but helpful and lovely. Thankfully they managed to survive the chaos that was the tram fiasco that shut so much of Leith Walk and sent businesses packing! I have gone there with relatively minor problems that they have been able to fix on the spot and not charged me. They will go out the way to source cheap parts rather than rip off their customers. I (a girl) have never been ripped off by them. My car has been well maintained by them and rarely needed anything done to it - and when it did, it didn't cost anything close to what I had been charged in the past by other garages. If you're looking for a garage in Leith, I would highly recommend them.

D. D.I poppped in today to get some torx keys and grease as I'm changing my front discs. Guy was really helpful and had what I needed. Unfortunately the torx nut was ruste in and I rounded off the tool trying to get it out. I went back and they gave me my money back for the torx allens, even though it was probably more my fault, and said they will help me out with another tool tomorrow. Fingers crossed I can get another tool and we will see but can't fault their service and knowledge at all. Highly recommended
