Took my car in for an issue with my clutch. Liam was able to diagnose and fix the problem for a very reasonable price. Communication was also excellent, he took the time to listen to the issue I was having in detail and then kept me up to date while he was looking at my car. Highly recommend.

Great service provided by Liam. Had screws in 3 of my tyres but no locking wheel nut to remove the wheels. A few other places said they couldn't assist / weren't interested in trying to find a solution. Liam carried out the job without the need for taking off the wheels in a timely fashion and at an excellent price. Will use again; brilliant service.

I'd highly recommend Liam and Polwarth Motors. He was very quick to respond to my enquiry for an exhaust repair on a 2015 Audi A6. Sorting the repair was no problem for Liam and he was also happy to arrange the MOT at the same time (something I just asked for when bringing the car in). Everything was completed within a day, with an excellent level of service and a clear and honest approach. Excellent value and Liam also talked me through what might need looked at in the future (purely Liam being helpful, not a case of looking to point out issues). Will definitely be back in the future.

Booked my car in for a full service (after phoning a few garages for quotes). Liam was very professional, polite and explained everything in a way I could understand. During the service Liam called to talk me through everything and adviced that the tyres where on the limit and recommended changing these with a quote for new, which I accepted. Picked up the car within the agreed time, Liam showed me the old tyres and parts that were all replaced, not that I asked, but was pleased to see. Trustworthy, professional and polite, I would highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future

Can’t recommend Polwarth motors highly enough. Liam is honest and reliable and I felt I was dealing with trustworthy person who really knew his stuff.He replaced my clutch and wheel bearing with no messing about and a great job done. I’ll definitely be back.

Cant recommend Liam enough, he is one of the best mechanics in Edinburgh. My husband is a taxi driver and he needs a mechanic very frequently. Hes been to most of the mechanics in Edinburgh and we dont know because of the work burden or what but theyre useless, they dont do work properly. My husbands car was broken and Liam was away and I asked my husband to get his car fixed somewhere else but he refused because he only wanted to get it done by Liam. Today when i went to drop my husband to pick up his car from Liam, my husband mentioned that the fuse for the phone charger in my car was gone, within 2 minutes Liam sorted it out for me even though he was closing. We are very thankful for Liam.

Absolutely sensational service. Booked after a recommendation from a friend, I went there for a second opinion as the original garage I went to I was concerned about what they told me. Staff we friendly, polite and knew their stuff, managed to find a suitable time that suited my situation. They took the car and inspected it and gave me a very competitive estimate for the repairs for some repair work. I have to say the prices were extremely competitive which is hard to find these days! Very quick service and when I went back to collect the mechanic even walked me through all the repairs. Delighted with the service and will be recommending to everyone I know!

Great garage, great service! I thought a brand new part wasn't necessary since I'm getting rid of the car soon so he suggested he phone around the scrap yards for a second hand/used part. I was very happy with that idea (doubt many garages would give service like that) and already told him I'll be back for other repairs I need!
