HIGHLY RECOMMEND AUTOMEK. I took my RS4 along to Automek on the back of a recommendation for steering geometry (steering heavy and pulling slightly to the left). Before anybody touched or moved the car we did a thorough walk round the car - which showed me the level of care and detail the guys take with customer cars. You could tell from the cars in the car park the employees are all car fanatics and serious about their work. Andrew took care to understand everything to do with the car's handling and daily use before walking me through what the geometry and alignment would do for the handling of the car and discussed some options. He uses a specific test route which he knows intimately (changes in sruface, gradients, pot holes etc) before the job commences. I was shown the car in the workshop whilst the job was in progress and the data explained to me clearly. Once finished, the handling, weight on turn in, accuracy and sharpness of the steerning was remarkable. Excellent service. Friendly people. Brilliant value. I'll be taking my car back to them many more times.

I took my MX-5 to Automek for a service, during which a couple of issues were picked up by Andrew and the team. One of the front springs was broken, and Andrew went above and beyond to find the correct non-standard springs, after he identified that the springs fitted to my car weren't the ones it left the factory with. I had a good chat about the issues (and cars in general!), which were then sorted quickly. I've only had the car for 1 year, so this is the first service it's had in my ownership. I left Automek feeling confident that my car is now in the best condition it can be. Big thanks to Andrew and everyone at Automek, I'll be back!

Turned my car in to get an MOT and they called back to let me know it would need a lot of work. The emailed me a breakdown of what needed repaired to get it through. The whole operation was smooth and plenty of advice was given. The next day the car was ready to go! 100% recommend. I'll be bringing all my cars to AutoMek from now on.

Brought my 1987 AE86 Levin Coupe for an alternator rebuild and for some very fiddly dash work to replace the climate control unit. Absolutely amazing experience, SO knowledgeable on older JDM cars and got my car back in 1 day! I’m not going to take my car anywhere else, and neither should you.

After being referred by a friend, I spoke to Andrew about getting my GT86 corner balanced and a wheel alignment carried out. Andrew went around the car with me prior to the work carried out and asked me specifically what I wanted to use the car for. The standard of the work carried out is second to none. The car now handles completely differently and I can't fault anything that's been carried out. First class service from everyone!

My car was in for a repair on 11/03/20 and the quality of the work and how these guys conduct their business is first class. Little things that were appreciated was the use of floor and seat covers. Repair has made a massive difference and worth every penny. Like previous reviews the staff are friendly to speak to and very willing to discuss the matter with you, will definitely be using this garage going forward.

I took my daily driver Audi Q3 to Andrew and his team as it was pulling slightly to the right and just not confidence inspiring on the road. We also have a Macan and both the wife an I reach for those keys first as it just feels better to drive. Andrew took his time to set the Audi up properly and it is much much better. We had a good chat about the work and I’m pleased I took the car to him. I only wonder why i waited so long! Totally recommended, whether you are running a race car or daily driving a Corsa, these guys are top notch. Forget the chain groups, take the time to book your car with enthusiasts who know what they are doing.

Had my Nissan 350z in a few times for various things such as sensors, suspension components and gearbox. The whole customer experience was outstanding from the booking of my repair to collecting my car after repair. The guys are happy to speak to you about the car and break everything down that’s going wrong with your car. They are all true genuine car guys and it’s a pleasure to pick their brains about your car or cars they’re working on. Even with a waiting list they managed to squeeze me in within a week or two.

I would recommend this garage to everyone! Had my car checked and serviced yesterday and received excellent service. They took the time to explain the faults and show me the issues on the car; the quotes were clear, upfront and reasonable. Had my newly purchased fn2 type r up at automek to get the valve clearances done and a good check over and would highly recommend these guys. Very impressed with Andrews work, knowledge and advice, he is a car enthusiast as well as being a great mechanic. Had my fk8 type r in for a remus exhaust can't fault automek at all absolute brilliant to deal with, you can see Andrew loves his cars and enjoys working on cars,he explained everything to me about the exhaust system,and he explained alot more to me about the car and a few issues I need to get addressed, he is probably the best mechanic i have dealt with ever, it helps he has a modded fk8 so he knows the ins and outs of this car, I will definitely be coming back in the future for more work, I would not hesitate to come back to this garage, he is a guy that takes pride in his work and makes sure everything is 100% ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
