I cannot recommend this business enough. I have used Gordon and Steven for the past 12 years and it was a no brainer to move with them when they started their own business a few years ago. I know nothing about vehicle repair but I fully trust both Gordon and Steven to do the work needed at the best price. I even recommend my parents to them I have so much confidence in them! I use them for my personal car, as well as 4 of our work vans. Honest and reliable!

Have used G & S Vehicle Repair three times now. Tyres, Battery and an Electrical problem on each separate visits. Feel i owe Steven and Gordon a glowing report. Know their stuff and guide you from start to finish. No pressure and honest guys doing a great job. Good transport links close by and a retail park with Costa coffee 5 minutes walk away if you want to wait on your car.

I recently booked an appointment here to get a fault diagnosed with one of my brake plates. G&S successfully diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time. They didn't try to sell loads of "unnecessary" extras and were extremely professional and polite. Before this, I took my vehicle to an official manufacturer garage and they completely ignored the fact that I said the noise was coming from the front of the vehicle and instead replaced a heat sink clip at the back of the vehicle, needless to say, this did not fix the issue. Listening to and at least humouring the customer goes a long way! G&S is now my choice for all future work, MOTs and services. Thanks again for your help and keep up the stellar work.

Thanks so much for taking care of my car's recent MOT and service. Being new to the area, it's always a challenge finding skilled people to trust with the things that matter - new electrician, nee hair dresser, new mechanic! Through BNI I came across G&S Vehicle Repair, and heard several good reviews so decided to give them a call. I'm one of those people who knows very little about my car, but Gordon explained everything in laymen terms and made it easy to understand my options for fixing them. Everything was clear, affordable, and no bother. As an added bonus, my car got a clean inside and out, probably its first proper good clean of the year! Would highly recommend.

20/08/2020 Dear Gordon and G&S Vehicle Repair, From only Joining the Nexus chapter of BNI in June 2020, this is my first testimonial for anyone in the chapter and this one has been written with great pleasure as you are far more than just a mechanic, you are now my go to ‘motoring health advisor’. With the UK lock down restrictions giving many of us conflicting thoughts and levels of understanding, especially around the MOT extension for our cars; if it wasn’t for your knowledge, advice and being so forthcoming I would knowing my luck have been pulled over, done and in receipt of a lovely fine for my own confusion over the revised MOT guidelines. During our one to one, I was quick to book one of my cars in to get the MOT situation rectified, but also to ‘give you and your business a go.’ Many people have a garage or mechanic that they have used for many years, and have a loyalty to that person…..Gordon, that person was my Brother and you have managed through your honesty, knowledge and being extremely accommodating with ZERO hassle, managed to gain another customer for the long term over a family member. From the simple nail in the tyre, to the MOT failure and list of works and advisories, most garages would have said ‘we need to get all of this done and it will cost £xyz so your car will pass it’s MOT and be allowed on the road.’ Not you…..with your evident integrity and my safety at the forefront of what you advised me, you suggested a plan of action to get certain jobs done and in level of importance. Most of these advisory works are still to be completed, and so my high mileage work horse will be back and forth to your garage to get these works completed as and when you see them necessary to be done, among many others. Not only this, but our other car is in need of new tyres; our preferred brand for these was initially a premium brand which through your own admission would have proven more costly for you to source; instead you told me where to go and how to go about it, and use you for the fitting….most people would have happily charged the extra! It is extremely evident that your customers really do come first, between your honest, straightforward approach you are now my garage of choice. Personally, I will happily travel a little further to use you, and I have no hesitation as recommending you as ‘the best garage I have used in Glasgow’ to all my friends and family, and anyone who I notice or hear of their cars needing any repairs, servicing or MOTs.
