I booked in for a service and MOT. This was easy to do online. On the day, the social distancing was very good and the customer service person explained everything clearly. Great experience at Halfords yesterday...despite current restrictions, Jacqui at the front desk made me feel comfortable and looked after. The have everything in the reception that you would expect from a hygeine perspective, so felt safe . Jacqui also kept me informed throughout my visit to renew my tyres. All the people I dealt with were great especially Jordan who carried out the MOT. He let me know that my MOT wasn’t necessary till December due to the Coronavirus extension and asked if I wanted to carry on, he went through a thorough check of the car which I could see as I waited. My daughters car needed it’s mot done and we didn’t think anywhere would do it during this lockdown. Searched for places who were open and found Halfords. We didn’t even know Halfords did mots! Booked it online which was so easy. Unfortunately it failed however we got a phone call to say what was wrong and we decided to leave it with them to fix the problems. Picked it up yesterday and it’s perfect. The whole experience was excellent and the staff were very friendly and professional! Would definitely recommend them and we will be using them again when the next mot is due on another car!

Great service this morning. I went to Halfords store in Rutherglen to have my battery changed and was told the fitter would not be in till 12pm. This was disappointing as I really had to be at work. He suggested I tried the auto centre next door and to my delight they could do it straight away even with there already busy workload. I booked an appointment 5 days ahead for my BMW RTF tyre replacement at this centre. Turned up and wrong tyre delivered and was almost fitted to my car. It would have been catastrophic considering the model specification . Fault of vendor (tyre supplier), the Centre manager was nice and apologised. There is need for proper checking to make sure.

Such a easy process from start to finish firstly the online process was flawless so so easy and the staff and the centre where so professional and friendly and the service was fantastic I can’t recommend Halfords enough I was so so nervous about going to the garage as my partner usually deals with car stuff but he couldn’t this time but not now!
