Very quick and easy contact with booking availability, I had very minimal needs other than just let my little polo have a little more fun, went to the shops came back and the map was about done, had a good chat with the guys and they were very helpful and very knowledgeable, pricing was very reasonable and the facility was very well equipped both for their work and in the waiting room (lots of nice VW magazines to read!). The car feels fantastic and is a breath of fresh air to what was just a runabout. I'll be returning when I get a new car and having that mapped too, very much recommended!

Well decided to get the new car remapped. So booked in with A1, nice gentleman greeted me, all covid safe and said he was just finishing a VW Transporter vsn, so I wsoted around 15 mins. Well the owner of the van came back bouncing with joy, saying it was the best ever. Good performance and response, so I thought, good place to come to. So listening in on the other customer, he went from 84 bhp to 170, !!! Eh- bloody amazing. What impressed me was that the mapper said, I kept it calm and held back!! He wanted good long term performance but not stupid levels for him. Sensible upgrade. You will see his review no doubt. So I enjoyed a good strong coffee whilst my original map was downloading, then a chat with I believe Andy was his name, about cowboys with a laptop and screaming high performance maps that blows your engine in 6 months and they've moved to the Bahamas lol. So new map uploaded, he takes for a test drive first then I did. Surprised, yes. A smooth power increase across the entire rev range. 60Mph in 6th gear - foot down and zoom, off I went. Well quick. Low gear pull away was smooth and rapid with good progressive acceleration. Foot steady at 65moh and economy showed 15% better than before. So, I got double the torque, 204 to 410 odd Nm so massive improvement, bhp 114 up to 150. Nice. You can pay in 3 monthly stages too, I paid in one as forgot. Thank you A1 Remapping. Highly recommended for anyone, specislly VW owners lol. Oh, took just over an hour. Fantastic. Car is so much better. Kia Sportage Axis edition 1.7 desiel.

Needed more power from my Transit Custom to tow my caravan so I took it to A1 after a diagnostic session I was told it was already remapped so no map and no charge after talking van away I discovered it was a cheap and bad remap so returned to A1 and had the standard 125 ps map uploaded at a great reasonable price this than allowed me to find another problem with the turbo now replaced I took it back to A1 today and had the 180ps map uploaded at a good Black Friday price Early indications are fuel economy has greatly improved and performance is second to none I would definitely recommend A1 Remaps to anyone that is thinking of having their vehicle tuned The garage is clean and tidy and the heated waiting room has hot/cold drinks and tv for entertainment Great guys Great job Great prices What’s not to Like J.Glenn

Absolutely fantastic customer experience at A1 Remapping today - a very professional setup, so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, I can't praise them enough. I would 100% recommend anyone looking to have their car remapped to try them out. In my case I did have some engine modifications already, but the new map really made the most of it and at the end of the day I have a 64% increase in torque on my Abarth 595. Absolutely amazing performance and it drives very smoothly in all gears, too.

Just had my wife’s 220i bmw tuned! WOW the extra bhp is amazing but the torque is WOW and that is an understatement!! Like Andy said the smiles per miles it’s worth every penny and believe me it ain’t out of this world expensive vvvvv reasonable. So go get ur car tuned you won’t regret it!!!!!! Great communication from start to finish… The Van runs like a dream the gear changes are smoother and there’s less lagg and more power…I even think the fuel economy is better while I’m using adaptive cruise control. 🙌 Thanks again guys would definitely recommend after you have transformed my transporter 6.1 once again to another level 👍

So glad I decided to take the plunge and get my kia proceed remapped at A1 rather than a cheaper mobile technician I was going to use. First customer of the day as they opened up. Greeted with a friendly smile even on a cold day as it was! Left the car with them and did a spot of shopping nearby. Within the hour my car was ready for me to take outfor a test drive. Andy was very knowledgeable and helpful with advice before booking. I thought the difference would have been more subtle on remapping my Peugeot based motorhome but the increased torque in low revs is brilliant. I haven’t noticed the improved fuel economy but that might be because my foot is heavier! Very happy customer.

Absolutely delighted with the gains from a remap that Andy performed on my car last week. I was very hesitant about the process initially after reading lots of the things online but Andy was superb at putting me at ease and walking me through the process. The end result - my MB C Coupe feels like a brand new car with the extra power and the increase in mpg is a welcome bonus! Averaging around 45 - 50mpg on a 2.1 litre Diesel engine. Can’t fault Andy and his team - he’s a true expert in this field and the positive reviews left before me speak for themselves. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about a remap!

I've had several cars remapped at A1 now and all of them have been the Holy Grail, faster AND more economical, I've always gone for the economy chip and this still results in a really noticeable increase in power and torque, and at least a few mpg more. They take care with your car as if it were their own and are very proffesional from start to finish. You have nothing to lose as they let you try it out before you pay, superb service...

Excellent service provided by A1 remapping. They were my first stop after purchasing my Volvo V50 D4. Ive had two other cars remapped in the past by other companies, both greatly improved the performance of the car but neither offered the peace of mind that A1 offer by first health testing the car to see if it can safely take the new map. I was in the car while Andy test drove it with all the gadgets plugged in so could see it was all genuine and the turbo etc was sound. They also tested the dpf filter which offered further reassurance that all was well. The results of the remap greatly improved the performance of the car adding more power but more importantly throttle response was made silky smooth making it much more responsive. I highly recommend them and would encourage anyone to get their car remapped. It is worth it!

Took my saab 93 to A1 for a re-map. The guys couldn't have been more friendly and professional, absolutely amazing service and my car feels so much more responsive and that extra 40bhp has made a massive difference, virtually no turbo lag and the extra torque makes the car accelerate much smoother and makes over taking even at motorway speeds easy. Andy and the team had a look at my Abarth 500 and squeezed another 40 ponies in there just in a map. Not just the the torque was immense afterwards. Near took out a van coming around the corner in error when I misjudged the pedal response. Superb, cannot believe the difference it makes. Cant wait to get the TFSI TT in for a rework.
