I was recommended to try this Garage and wasn't disappointed. Richie has been a star. My Porsche boxster had aircon problems and brake problems too and was quoted a huge amount to fix by a specialist. The main dealer whom I purchased the car from told me it had a full service in October 2020. I complained about the aircon and the brakes which weren't good at all. The service manager said that's the way Porsches are. Turned out that a condenser was leaking and the brakes needed bleeding. There was a number of parts that had supposedly been fitted on that October service(before I bought the car) that on inspection, Richie uncovered that in fact, they hadn't been fitted at all. Incidently that service cost somebody £1000. I won't ever use a main dealer for any service as in my opinion its a complete rip off and lies. I would certainly recommend Newland Garage for an honest, knowledgeable excellent work, also Richie kept me informed on the jobs progress.

Brilliant service. Took on a difficult air conditioning job on my campervan's aftermarket system when other garages wouldn't even take a look. Real "can do" attitude. Liaised with manufacturer and sourced the parts and did all work to a high standard. Many thanks.

After having a service with a main dealer was advised I needed new brake discs and pads. Took vehicle into Newland Garage. They advised that the pads looked brand new and the discs were fine. Lesson learned”don’t take main dealers advice” without having it checked. This is the second time I have used Newland Garage each time being given a first class service, highly recommended.

I took my car to Newland Garage based on the ratings that it had received online. Being new to the area it's always a daunting task finding a new garage. My car was squeaking and making the most awful noise so I booked in and was told that I needed my shock absorber changing. The guys at Newland Garage advised me that it wasn't 100% safe to drive any length before it was fixed and bent over backwards to get my car booked in quickly to avoid disruption. Unfortunately (although it needed doing as it had leaked) changing the shock absorber didn't solve the squeak. After a call to the garage again we agreed on a date to take it back in for them to look at it again. This time I was able to get the loan car. The guys worked on my car for 2 days testing and trying everything until eventually finding the source of the squeak and I'm so happy to say it's fixed and running great. I would 100% recommend using this Garage. Being new to hull and having zero clue about cars I felt reassured and satisfied that the garage was doing everything they could to help me and gave me some great advice. I've got their number firmly stored in my phone and will be taking my car there for all future problems and routine checks. Thanks guys!

Got my car serviced here. They did a great job. Kept me up to date with the process and let me know if anything needed doing before doing it. The price was more than reasonable and the staff were pleasant and informative. This will be the garage I go to in the future for any work that's needed on my car.

Have never been anywhere since - they are honest, up front, reliable and friendly - massively important when choosing a service provider. I took my car in for a service and MOT, not only did Newland Garage do a good job but they were quick, courteous and kept me informed of what needed doing and the costs before any of the work was done. They advised on what needed doing but I didn't feel pressured into having it done, everything was itemised on the bill and the final cost was a lot less than I anticipated it was going to be. Exceptional experience all round. Was able to book my car in for MOT at short notice. Very friendly staff and courteous. The MOT was done promptly, I was some work would be needed on my 16 year old car and that some garages may well have exploited this. There were surprisingly few things that needed doing and was very reasonably priced. The work was done the next working day by lunchtime. I was unable to pick the car up immediately and were happy to hold onto it until I could, however they also offered an 'out of hours' pick up service to pay over the phone and leave the keys with a reputable business nearby if I need the car urgently. When I asked about the advisory on the MOT I was given a clear explanation in understandable language and told how I could rectify it and the possible expense to do it myself or for it to be done at a garage. Would highly recommend Newland to anyone.

Newland have looked after our fleet of ten vans for about 10 years now and have always been very fair, reasonable and accurate with their diagnosis, charges and turn around times. We previously used a ‘garage’ on Perth Street in Hull and got fed up with being over quoted and charged for work that simply was not required. Wayne & Richard always go the extra mile to help us, are always fair and can’t remember ever having cause to complain in over ten years of service. In recent years Newland have looked after our hard working vans and have carried out probably hundreds of repairs, Mots and routine service work, I can honestly say they are a sound company and perfect example of quality and value for money. Never used these guys but my son who's a student dropped his car in yesterday as he was worried about the front wheel. Left it with them and they called him to say was just some rubbish in the wheel arch. Which they cleared out free of charge. They could have easily done work on it, as he hasn't a clue about cars, and I'd have picked up the bill. Really says a lot about them. Top people. He'll be using Newlands when he needs something chargeable done.

My car was leaking diesel from one of the fuel supply lines. The chap at Newland identified the problem as soon as I opened the bonnet for him. Also had them do an oil change. Everything was sorted perfectly inside of 24 hours. Great experience.

I have been to newlands “twice” now and they have been great every time. I say twice, once was on the phone when I’d made an error with over filling the engine coolant (silly moment with a deceptive level). The guy I spoke to was so so helpful and explained that with my make and model, the excess would go out the overflow etc and ran through other things I should check. Resolved my moment of panic in seconds, and all over the phone. Really rate these guys!

Had a puncture in the tyre, I rang and was told it can be done straight away when i come. When i arrived i was told 1.5h and the guy with grey hair was very rude and ignorant. The other guy was nice and managed to get it done quicker. Recomend it, just one guy with no manners.

A couple of weeks ago, we experienced two days of consecutive hot weather... frankly it was amazing to see that firey ball of sun in the sky, rather than the usual greyness. That said our cars' aircon wasn't working whatsoever. No compressor noise, nothing at all. After a chat with a very helpful chap, he offered me the option of a gas recharge. Choice was mine, may work, might not... With sweat beading across my brow, and the midday sun still to reach even hotter temperatures, I threw caution to the wind, and said "giddy up!" Whilst the system was being regassed, I was then offered a side order of AC sealant... well I thought what the eck... why not! Well very soon the aircon was back up and running, and that refrigerated air was flowing around the car. Well as soon as the two days of summer came... of course they went. But today yes!, yes today, the sun is back out again, and that aircon is still keeping as cool as the Fonz. It's great. So I thought I'd spent a minute or two to write up a quick review. It worked great, many thanks to the chap there, he did a great job. Highly recommended :o)

I had a problem with a grinding noise in the rear of the car, brake pads had gone taking the disks out in the process, needed the repair doing in a 2 day timeframe and nowhere else could get it done, despite Newland Garage saying they were fully booked they said they'd try to fit me in between jobs and have it back to me ASAP and they had it fixed by the end of the day along with another issue to do with a ball joint on the passenger side, can not fault them at all for their service and speediness of repair and will be taking the car to them for everything from now on!

I use newland garage for all my vehicles due to quick response to problems ,my visit this time was a water leak which turned out to be a new radiator was required, car was taken straight in and item ordered as priority, given a brand new courtesy car, was looking at Monday to get sorted ,car went inthursday car back with me by 2pm the next day ,cracking service won't go anywhere else

Helped out my young daughter with a possible steering problem. Efficient and courteous service. Wouldn’t take any money. She was a long way from home and was treated very well. Recommended.

Had my gtd aircon regas today,i just turned up for chance they could do it today he said yes tested for any leaks not a problem,sorted the regas out straight away,price was fine £48 quid,fantastic service and an all round nice guy(richard) will be back in june for full service cheers,ignore any negative comments posted!!!
