So I decided last November to have a new retro stereo fitted in my kia ceed, I mistakenly decided to take it to Halfruads..various trips on different days and still not working correctly... so satday I decided I'd had enough.. I called to Leeds car audio and asked these guys if they could help. They took it out and I've never seen such a mess .. wire's twisted crammed all over... and just rubbish... These fellers spent at least 2 hours sorting all the issues and I now have the stereo I wanted which works... Great bunch and would highly recommend... forget halfrauds seriously use these boys.... ule not be disappointed...

Ian and team at Leeds Car Audio were REALLY helpful after Halfords took payment for a Pioneer CarPlay and installation into my 5 year old Nissan Note but then couldn’t install it due to them not being able to source the correct kits to connect it. I was so disappointed and confused by Halfords. I called Leeds Car Audio as I found their details on Pioneer UK support website. Ian took my details and told me installing it wouldn’t be a problem and ordered a kit from his (different supplier) and charged me a reasonable installation fee to complete the work, adding DAB radio and a clear microphone that everyone says sounds really clear in phone calls and when I’m gargling the Dutch National anthem with TCP on the A59 at 80mph. The job was really tidy and having CarPlay has made a massive difference to my driving experience and has made the car seem much more modern (I’ll never use Halford again) My car had generic Nissan speakers that were ok (at best) at low volume but as soon as you turned them up they sounded not dissimilar to a goose trapped inside a cement mixer, so Ian suggested replacing the front door speakers with Hertz. This again was done really well he also treated the doors to reduce rattle and the results were 100 times better than before you could hear all the detail across jazz, classical and techno. So delighted I was and having discussed with Ian about more bass I then went back and had an active Alpine subwoofer put in the boot. The sound quality in my car is unbelievable, I only have the sub on 25% to get that sweet spot but the balance and quality of experience is 10/10. As a music lover its not loudness I want but quality, well what Leeds Car Audio did gives me both and more.. Leeds Car Audio gets my endorsement, they did what Halfords couldn’t do and sell much better equipment. The modifications to my car were affordable and the results terrific. Ok, I might not have the fanciest car, but I’ve got a stereo in it that has added massive value to my driving enjoyment. If I close my eyes, I’m stood in front a the speaker stacks at Space, Miami! Superb++++++++++ There is a nice cafe right next door where you can have breakfast whilst you wait. Working out what I can have done next!

I booked in my E92 M3 to have a new sound system and dash cam installed to replace the underwhelming stock kit. Ian was very easy to deal with, he offered me a number of options and what to expect from them, I didn't feel like I was talking to a salesman but rather an expert. After choosing my upgrades, Ian ordered the parts and took delivery of my car in the morning. It was a 2 day job, but as I needed to leave the next morning, Ian worked his magic and got it done in 1 for me by working none stop. Due to my own mistake in the brief I gave him, there was a problem with installing the tweeters, I'd failed to mention he'd need to order new parts. To avoid disaster, Ian managed to do it without and install via his own mod which looks absolutely flawless (and saved me £150 in the process). The amp install was the icing on the cake, Ian's cable work is second to none, the car appears completely stock inside and out, which was important to me. Top finish the job, he installed a dash cam for me, fully hardwired, hidden without any visible cables. It's fully autonomous and just does it's job without me having to think about it. To say I'm happy is an understatement, the sound is out of this world. Ian is clearly an leading industry expert and I'd thoroughly recommend his services, I don't think you'll find a better place for your audio solutions. I'll be back soon to upgrade the main console. dropped by Leeds Car Audio after reading their reviews as i won't just trust anybody with my car. Not sure what i wanted but after talking with Ian for 5 minutes he recommended the Pioneer DA230 Headunit as it will sync perfectly with my phone and even fitted a DAB antenna for free which i didn't even know it needed? it works perfectly and completely changes the asthetics of my car. went back and talked about a Dash Cam, once again enquired what i was wanting it to do and after 5 minutes recommended the Pioneer DH200, yet again another flawless install and works perfectly with my phone.. not once did he recommend the most expensive product but the one that best suited my needs and requirements. he even managed to retune the other halfs radio whilst we were there! I don't usually leave reviews on services however i genuinely feel like the guys at LCA went above and beyond what was expected and can now see why they have so many happy customers. cannot thank you enough and will be back for another Dash Cam for the missus (she definitely needs it)

Cracking service!! Ian installed a Pioneer unit and camera into our motor home last week...sorted in less than 2 hours and at a reasonable cost. Had a few issues using the unit and Ian gave Pioneer a ring, they called me and talked me through the process of setting up the mirroring function. They are quiet experience and friendly. I went there to get help me with subwoofer all wired correct but the was no power coming to the subwoofer. After looking at my wiring he observed I forget to connect the yellow wire the turn on wire. He didn't charge me or something, if it was other people they will try to make a little money off me. Now my subwoofer is working outright.

Being in Yorkshire on a visit, I called Leeds Car Audio to see if my previously purchased DAB Car Radio and Aerial could be fitted, to my Chevrolet Kalos, and if so, would it need any other connections to still be able to use my steering wheel column controls. I booked it in to be fitted earlier today, and it was all fitted and completed within the hour. Anyone needing to speak to someone who knows his stuff, then ask for Ian. I am travelling South on Thursday and looking forward to using the DAB Radio on the 5 hour drive. While outside, Ian paired and matched my phone to the blue tooth in the Radio. Stereo had not been working for a long time. Cables in a mess from having had an amp and sub removed. Leeds Car Audio was the first reputable place listed on google. Booked me in straight away, removed all unnecessary cabling, gave me a good price on a new stereo and had it fitted within half an hour. Bobbed in after reading the reviews for LCA as we wanted a Pioneer DA120 fitting to replace the factory unit in our TTS. Ian's knowledge is immense, he knew instantly what was required and gave us a fantastic price for the unit, parts and fitting. Went back today for it fitting and Ian bent over backwards to accommodate us after his holiday, even though the shop was heaving. Unit, microphone and the works fitted within an hour and it looks and sounds heavenly. Not sure why someone would leave a bad review when they'd not even managed to speak to Ian over the Bank Holiday when the shop was SHUT! but all I can say is that we will be back and can't thank him enough for the brilliant work and duty of care shown to our TTS baby.

Visited this shop today looking for a double din with dab radio/nav, I was shown various options, no oversell, I was advised what would best suit my needs and shown clearly how it all works, due to coming all the way from pontefract he squeezed me in immediately and was all up and running within an hour, I literally just had time to nip to the nearest ASDA which is in walking distance for a cuppa whilst I waited. Wanted an auxiliary port for my 2007 Audi A4 so I could stream music from my phone. Proprietor could not have been more helpful. Offered a wide range of options and knew his profession inside-out. The fitting I eventually went for was priced much less than I had expected, and the quality of the job was as good as factory fit. Job was completed in an hour. Also, the sound quality is so outstanding I had a smile on my face all the way home. Perfect job, highly recommend.

Came to LCA for a Sub installed in my Aygo. Went down and spoke with Ian who was great. Gave me the best options for my setup. Went for an 8" active sub. Booked in a time and left it with them. All in all it took about two hours. Had a look over before I paid and boy was I happy! They had done a top notch job, no signs of any cable runs, interior trim was exactly as should be and they even mounted the remote into the center console area underneath the 12v port. Total cost was £220. Money well spent in my books. I couldn't of asked for a better install and I have no negative things to say. If you're thinking of having any audio work done, pop down and have a chat with them.

Well after a while of thinking it over in my head I had decided to upgrade the stereo in my bmw 530d e60 because truth be told the standard stereo was rubbish so I had decided to use leeds car audio due to recommendations from a friend and all I can say is the guy really knows his stuff I told him what kind of sound I was after and he sorted me out.
