I've had a few cars serviced and checked for faults at Motion Autos. The owner Christian knows his stuff and is fair and honestest. He always told me what repairs I need right away and what repairs could wait. Others would tell you everything needs doing all at once to get as much money off you as possible, but not Christian. He knows that if he's honest people will come back to him for the work which I always do! He also saved me a lot of money with his advice and help on a car I purchased. The car had a hidden fault and thanks to his findings and report, I was able to return the car for a full refund!! He could have easily just told me the car was faulty and try to book me in for the repairs, but instead he helped me get a refund from the seller and only charged me for 1.5 hours of labor! Motion Autos is one of the last honest and fairly priced garages around. You're in safe hands with them.

Called in after reading the reviews and being an Audi specialist thought he would be the best person to look at my Audi A4 B9 with engine management fault. Although he was unable to sort due to time required to work on car, he made arrangements for the following day. Car works brilliant now. Christian has a lot of knowledge and experience and prices are not a rip off. Will be using him from now on and recommending him to friends.

Fantastic service! After seeing two other garages I turned up at Motion Autos today at dinner time on a Saturday and they were more than happy to solve the issue! Christian said don’t worry I’ll get it sorted… and he did in just two hours (diagnosed issues, collected the part, replaced it and test drove it to ensure all was sorted) 😀 He told me he believed it was a broken wheel bearing and it was. Quick effective service at a reasonable cost. A true VW specialist at reasonable price, would recommend to anyone. Friendly well mannered staff all round, honestly the service is appreciated, will definitely be back in the future! Thank you guys 👍🏻

We took our Tiguan in 1 month after it had been to our usual garage because we were still having issues with the diesel particulate filter. Christian talked us through what the issues could be and got it sorted within the day. Excellent service, good communication and great value. We'll definitely be back.

Contacted Christian about an ongoing issue with regards to an engine management light on a SEAT Leon Fr. Previous mechanics had been unable to accurately diagnose the issue and gave me no guarantees. Christian appeared genuine from the outset. Took it to him within hours of him ringing me back, left it overnight, and everything sorted the next afternoon. Diagnosed it as a glow plug and ambient air temperature sensor. He even sourced a temperature sensor from second hand dealer to keep costs down; something I fully appreciated. One mechanic who I can at least trust to do work required and who is going to give an honest opinion and viewpiont of the situation. Would highly recommend and will most definately be using him again in future. Just a shame that I had to fork out over £300 on previous diagnostics with other mechanics to not be given an answer. Definitely recommend this garage. I used this place because of the good reviews I had read on here and was after a vw specialist to take care of my passat. Car had a full service and timing belt done along with another repair. This was all done within the day and at a good price too. The day after a warning light came on the dash so I phoned Christian and he told me to bring it back to sort... and he did, within an hour. Very good mechanic and nice guy too. Great service all round.

The best garage you can find in all West Yorkshire. Using Motion Motor since Arnold Clark and Audi official garage could not find what was wrong with my Audi A6 and Christian just took for a small spin and immediately found what was wrong. He got it fixed the same day and all repairs have been covered by the warranty plan I had. Today I took my car for all new tyres, brake pads, wheel alignment and to fix parking sensor issue on my A6. Got all done in no time and even parking sensor had matching colour painted. Highly recommend Motion Autos if you tried all other garages and still can't find an issue as I had in my case.

World class service received from Christian. I was travelling from Manchester and had an issue with my Audi. He immediately diagnosed the fault and discovered the fuse had gone. He refused to take any money from me. This is a first because most places want to rip you off. My experience was that Motion Autos are honest, reliable, efficient and a place that i would come back to as the service was brilliant. Highly recommend this place as they are trustworthy.

I couldn’t recommend Motion Autos anymore if l tried. I had an issue with my car before seeing Christian, as it was under warranty it was fixed by my dealer (or not). My car suffered the same problem again a week later just as the warranty had expired. I took the car to Christian who did a diagnosis and found it was the exact same problem which was supposedly fixed. Christian went above and beyond to try and help, and the dealer took ownership and fixed the problem. Christian saved me thousands of money! The service he showed me as a customer was outstanding! They are now the only mechanics I will let work on my car.

Top marks to Motion Autos for the service they provided. Very polite, very knowledgeable, and they called me back when they said they would. Christian diagnosed the issue immediately and managed to source and fit the part (starter motor) on the same day. All at a very reasonable price. I'm very happy and will definitely recommend them.

Incredible service. Had some auto electrician work that needed urgently doing and it was Bank Holiday weekend and it wasn't looking great. Today I had my tyres changed over on my Audi A3 at Motion Autos. Before changing the tyres a full exterior inspection was performed on my car. Which impressed me due to the clear high standards of care and professionalism Christian puts into his work. During this inspection Christian highlighted to me That an alloy wheel refurbishment that had been carried out by an Audi dealership (not affiliated with Motion Autos) had been done wrong. Christian then proceeded to advise me and take photographs of the wheels so I could pursue this matter with “Audi UK.” Without Christian’s help and guidance I wouldn’t have been able to get the fault investigated due to me not being aware of the issue initially. This is just one of the examples of when Christian went above and beyond in terms of his service. The tyre change was done professionally and quickly however no corners were cut in the process, I am extremely happy with the work carried out to fit my new tyres. Christian has provided an outstanding level of service that is second to none and has gone the extra mile to help me on a personal level. Honesty and integrity is hard to find in most car garages these days. However, I feel my experience with Motion Autos was first class and it is a name you can trust. I will 100% be coming back for any further work I need carrying out on my car. I would recommend motion to anyone! Thank you very much!

Contacted Christian after a non start problem, I phoned him quite late in the day as I was in desperate need for the van to be running for the following day , I knew it was a long shot but Christian returned my call, came out when I least expected, it was rather late in the day, replaced my timing belt, excellent service , very professional and I would highly recommend his services to anybody wanting a professional who goes out of his way for his customers. This guy is fantastic! My car needed a new EGR valve fitted and I had another mobile mechanic completely let me down, he took my car apart, couldn’t even get the part out and did a runner! Christian mechanic came along, the part was out in 10 minutes and then he proceeded to put all my car back together and basically fix All the mess the other mechanic made. Great guy, came round to my house, diagnosed the problem - wheel bearing. Sorted the problem,in spite of having to travel across Leeds to source the correct sized bearing, and worked late to get the job done so the car was ready for work the next day. Has a nifty card reader so can take cards. Was expecting to pay cash. Gave a bit of advice on other issues and charges were more than competitive, bearing in mind I didn't have to take the car anywhere. Would recommend to anyone.

After allowing a Liversedge firm to rub their chins and charge me a fortune to (unsuccessfully) chase an electrical fault which they described as looking for a needle in a haystack. I got Christian to have a look on my driveway. Impressed is not the word. He interpreted his diagnostic more completely than the big boys (whose name should make them better pet detectives). He went away to study the wiring diagrams and came back certain of the fault- which, after a further hour he had fixed. Job done. I can highly recommend Christian.
