From the previous reviews I decided to change from the company I usually use to SES. I was not disappointed, Mel is wonderful, very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, open & honest which I believe is very hard to find these days. Mel took my car for an MOT, and he gave it a service. He carried out work on the rear brake pads. Plus delt with some water ingres in the boot plus many other things, my car felt much better to drive after the work he carried out. Mel charged a very fair price for the work he completed. Mel is prompt and keeps you well informed about your car repairs, and offers good sound advice. I can highly recommend Mel, and I won't be going to any other mechanic in future. Thank you Mel from a very happy customer.😊

Great place to buy a car. I turned up unannounced on a Sunday morning to see a car I saw online. Not only did I get full access to the car for as long as I needed I was very happy that Andy got me out for a test drive and I could then be sure this car was me. The car was very well presented and so clean it looked brand new. I returned the next day to collect It and I’m now a very happy customer. BRILLIANT! After a terrible experience with Sandhill Motors of Wakefield this really did restore hope in buying a QUALITY used car. Detailed and knowledgable seller, would defiantly buy from here again. There is always that element trust that is needed when purchasing a car, especially your first car. I think the fact that this company also specialises in services does add this extra element of trust. I will also add that this purchase happened during COVID and the cleanness and procedures in place made the purchase even more comfortable as a-pose to my previous experience a couple of weeks before.

In the middle of the lockdown period, eml comes on and all my usual merc garages are closed. I did a bit of research online and came across Melvin and ses, I have to say I couldn’t really be more impressed. Great value diagnostics and repair, professional service and timekeeping, and when speaking to Mel it’s clear you’re being looked after by someone who knows his stuff about Mercs. You’ve got yourself a new customer, keep up the good work.
