After being let down by another custom exhaust place, I decided to call Tony banks. I was swiftly booked in and paid a deposit over the phone. On arrival I had a brief chat with one of the lads, about what I was having, I chose my tips and was told it would be ready 3-4 hours. I walked round to Mac Donald’s, had a breakfast and then got the bus to the white rose shopping center. After only 3 hours I get a call to say it’s all done. The exhaust is exactly how i wanted it and it sounds really good, more throaty on boost. I highly recommend these guys to make your exhaust.

Friendly staff and professional service. I got my exhaust work booked in for opening at 08:00am, I was there at 07:45am and the guys were already working. Had a quick check on the agreed plan and was told the car will be ready around lunch time. I got the call at 12:30pm car was ready. All went as planned, the job was done as discussed, no hidden fees or unexpected issues. Probably the most convenient fix I ever had. Very impressed with this place. Struggled to find exhaust parts for my 17 year old FRV that weren’t expensive genuine Honda ones. Went there this morning. To get my Yaris SR Cat back exhaust done I given a time scale well they beat that hands down . Only down side no waiting area so I trollied of to MC D and took a slow stroll back. To my suprise it was done got there for 8 am got back about 9.15 done and dusted . Super quick fitting regarding my exhaust. Started it up what a difference more BHP and love the sound just burbles .This garage clearly has its act together .And the transaction was brilliant. Had a custom cat-back exhaust made and fitted along for my 540i with a muffler and opted for slashed tips. The work is quality and makes the V8 sound amazing. Initially there was some drone at lower rpms. Went back and explained the issue and they went for a test drive with me and immediately knew what the issue was. (Common issue with 540i autos) they tweaked the exhaust to get rid of the drone and it still sounds just as good. No more drone now and all work carried out under warranty. Amazing customer service.

My car is a 2006 Honda Jazz that we've owned since new and it is doing the usual Honda thing - starts first time, gearbox feels like new after 77k miles, everything electrical still works etc. Consumables have to be replaced though and once the OEM exhaust packed in after 10 years I had bad luck with cheap after market ones, they didn't last long after the 2 year warranty expired. I decided to give Tony Banks a try after reading all the positive reviews and I'm very happy with the end result - there is a slight pick up in performance as the mighty 1.3 engine revs a lot more freely with a fruity little noise to please the inner teenager. I was also pleased with the price I was quoted; it was over £150 less than an OEM one, which doesn't come with a lifetime guarantee like this one does, which gives me peace of mind. Tony was also happy to take the car back in for an adjustment as it was catching on speed bumps, not his fault though - a combination of saggy suspension (next on the to do list) and those horrid squared off speed bumps. So yes, don't delay book today as the waiting list is long and you can understand why. Thanks to all including the helpful reception staff for a job well done. Regards, Majid.

Good experience at Tony Banks, had stainless steel cat-back installed to replace the blown and rusty original on my Hyundai Coupe. Tips look just like original and the sound the system makes is beautiful, not too loud and a nice note. Would recommend, although the price was quite high.

Took my UP GTI in for a custom cat back. Was worried about the finish that could be achieved without a off the shelf diffuser that doesn't exist. These guys knocked it out the park! There is a reason they are booked up often. Friendly service, Tone and tips discussed on arrival and realistic time expectations set out. Leeds Town centre is only 15 mins away. Worth the travel especially for the very reasonable charges and quality of work!

Car wasn't ready when they said it would be, but in all fairness they were able to squeeze us in at reasonably short notice when apparently they were quite backlogged with other work. The quality of the work seems good (I haven't inspected it closely). They were able to make a custom exhaust for a car for which an off-the-shelf one is not readily available, which was great.

The lads up there really know their stuff. They fitted a custom 3" turbo back stainless steel exhaust system and a stage 2+ tune. I've recently fitted a dual port bov and the car didn't like it, but one phone call and problem solved. If you ever intend to modify your car, this is the place to go.

I emailed Tony Banks Exhausts On Friday evening, asking if by any chance they could fit me in the next day, as it was the first Saturday I had free in months, The called me early Saturday morning and said they could. On arrival, eveything was explained and they told me what was my best option and a firm quote was given. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! i have a Seat Leon Cupra ST which is considerably quieter than the hatchback version, Tony Banks have created a unique valved cat back in 3inch along with a sports cat, this car now turns heads everywhere it goes and sounds amazing!!! Tony and his team came purely on recommendation, based upon the quality of their workmanship and they certainly lived up to their reputation. I had a full cat-back system installed on my Fiesta ST3 (along with Cobra springs) and the quality of the welds alone (they are a thing to behold if you get excited by that sort of thing!) made it worth the money, which was half the price of an off-the-shelf system. I had to wait a few weeks for a suitable date that fitted in with my work schedule but I think that is testament to their reputation and how busy they are. Massive selection of tips to suit all tastes and you know you've gone to the right place when Tony asks 'what kind of a bloke are you, how loud do you want it?'. Exhaust sound tuned to your taste and superb craftsmanship, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

A few months ago I had Tony Banks exhausts do a resonator 'X' pipe delete on my E63 AMG, I was so impressed with the quality of work and friendly service I recieved, I decided to have the rest of the exhaust system replaced. Tony's work is so sort after, I had to wait a month before he could do the work. I collected my car this evening, once again the quility of work and overall experience was outstanding. Only downside they showed a video with sound from a petrol car which sounded different than our turbo diesel, we did tell them it was a diesel so they should have let us know the sound would be a lot different, they had to change design of exhaust they were putting on, looks good and sound better but not what we thought it would,would use again but make sure they remember, petrol or diesel

Cannot recommend these guys highly enough. My exhaust on my alfa was in such a bad state, so loud, was giving me a headache. I rang on bank hol monday even tho it was closed hoping there might be someone there cos i was so desperate. There was no answer but i got a call back the same day and explained how bad it was and that i needed the car for my job. He said they were fully booked all week but if i ring back tues morning they will do their best to fit me in. I rang back around 10am tues and he said if i can get there that day they would fit me in . I was there by 115 , had a chat what id like then went into leeds for some food and a look round market. By 345pm ish i received the call to say my car was ready and by 530pm im back home in york . Fantastic service and very friendly helpful guys . As for my car, wow, im so pleased with the result. Have had a valved cat back fitted on my Octavia vRS tfsi, these guys where awesome and listened to what I wanted out of this , basicly a little louder than the original exhaust but with the valve to produce more noise when I'm on my own without the family in the car. Job seems ok but I take great exception to them sticking advertising on my recently bought number plates. Took me ages to get the individual letter stickers off and there's still residue that when I try and rub it off starts to remove the coating on the plates. If you want to advertise please ask for a rate card and provide plates that don't already have writing underneath where you put your advert, looks really shoddy and makes me wonder if that's your general standard of workmanship.
