My family have been going to Mr Wightman for years and when I recommended them to my partner, he received the same friendly, attentive, thorough treatment we always have. My partner was nervous as it was his first MOT but he was made to feel at ease and came away confident in the service he received. No shoddy work or flimflammery here, just honest, straight to the point, thorough work that's a great value too.

We've been using AK Wightman for over 10 years for both our cars after been recommended by a family member. As mentioned in other reviews be prepared to book early as the books fill up quickly, however when the clutch went on our 11 year old Focus Andy did manage to fit it into their schedule. Highly recommended and being a busy garage shows that.

I almost don't want to leave a review as it's hard enough to get booked in with them - but they deserve the positive rating. They will never try to rip you off on prices, and are always willing to try fit you in to their already full schedule. Quick turnarounds and very helpful. I moved further away last year but still put in the extra travel time to use them.

Andy is a top auto engineer who can fix just about anything. Very trustable and genuine team. You will notice the difference as soon as you drive off. VW and VW T4s are a specialism but any make or model is fine.
