Great garage. Have used for a few years now and always found them friendly, honest and good value but decided to review after latest incident. Had a warning light on the car which advice online seemed to say had to be checked out by a garage. They looked into it and found nothing wrong but didn't charge which I thought was very honest and very kind, given they'd clearly expended time and effort looking into it. The issue is not uncommon with my car from stuff I've read but glad to be reassured by them and without any charge!

Highly recommend garage services. Had my car in for a full service last week, they are friendly and seem honest and fair. The car was ready sooner then anticipated so they phoned me, not like some places where you have to chase them. Price was fair and as agreed with no add ons and they were honest about things to keep an eye on ie brakes have about 5000 miles estimated where as some places would push to do them there and then. I do not hesitate in recommending Wright and Sheilds.

If your looking for a garage that will give you great service and will not rip you off, look no further. I rang them at 2 pm to tell them that my MOT had run out yesterday and I needed the car to get to the hospital. They told me to bring my car in and they would do their best to fit in in. Just over an hour later they rang to say it had passed (first time ever) and to come and collect it. They had found a small fault which it had failed on, but they fixed it for free. I have used a lot of garages but this one beats them all.

True fantastic service great guys been a loyal customer for many years, until they failed me badly. They had plenty of time to explain this embarrassing incident and to compensate me for the loss of my vehicle. Remember the Diesel Berlingo? The AA towed me in as a none starter due to a faulty camshaft sensor. They took the car to pieces and ripped out the LED daytime driving lights beyond repair, when all they had to do is to disconnect the in line fuse. W&S said its scrap and l still owed them £100 for the work they put into it to try and get it repaired. Obviously l refused to pay. So W&S said that they will scrap it as soon as l gave them the log book. Imagine my horror, when, soon after l received a speeding ticket on the M62 towards Manchester from the DVLA.
