I originally booked a diagnostic online due to my ABS light coming on. I asked if they could complete a major service on the day which was no trouble even though they were busy. Really welcoming atmosphere and felt very comfortable. They took the time to explain each step, what needed doing and why and used a diagram of the car to make it easy for me to understand, and always consulted me on the price. Communication was exceptional. They explained everything that had found when I went to collect the car and upcoming work that needed to be completed. Best service I’ve ever had at a garage! Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone!

I recently acquired an Audi vehicle. I approached Chapmans as my local Audi specialist to complete a service along with timing belt, water pump, in addition to other related repairs. Everytime I've used Audi Chapmans Specialist, I've always been really impressed with the quality of work and level of top customer service they always provide. Had an issue with my breaks recently that no other garages had the time to look at, but called Chapmans, and even though they were busy they still made the time to see me on the day, and ended up fixing the issue in the same day! A problem had been identified at a different garage during a service. Became serious very quickly and I called on Monday. Was told they could get it in for diagnostic on Thursday. They called as soon as they had identified problems and broke the price down for everything. Left it with them till Friday when they sorted it all out. Can't fault the service. Even washed it for me. Would use again as I felt it was an honest business.

My rear brakes had completely been fried, making a horrible noise. Driving everyday and it being the end of year I was concerned that it would be an issue getting it resolved. Rang chapmans had me booked in the next morning, called me up when it was done. I have used Chapmans twice for specialist work on my T6. Timing belt / water pump change and then the 4motion service. They picked up a couple of faults that they also sorted. One, had it not been spotted would have resulted in the failure of a very expensive part on the rear diff. The preventative work was charged at an additional 45min labour, and has worked. I am happy with them and will be a repeat customer.

Whatever Audi you own (old or new) you need Chapmans in your phone list. This was my first time here, i bought my first Audi a year ago & was slightly nervous as to where to take it for servicing. These guys are very professional & welcoming. Even though there was an issue for the MOT i was given honest advise & they automatically discounted/tailored the price due to the service being done. All the extra work was done the same day & it even got a wash. Why get ripped off at the main dealer when these places exist? Keep up the good work!

Recently moved to the area so I was looking around for a reputable garage to maintain my car as I'm quite particular. After quite abit of research, I decided Chapmans looked like the best local indy specialist, not just for me, but as a whole. I've recently purchased a new (to me) vehicle so I was after some general maintenence. I thought my vehicle required a haldex service and requested this along with a DSG service. Chapmans advised the haldex is non-serviceable on my vehicle after another garage had quoted me to do the job. Abit of digging around uncovered chapmans were correct so, assuming the other garage were just going to charge me for a job they couldn't actually carry out. Crafty. Chapmans then also explained the DSG service was currently on offer so they in essence, they saved me a pretty penny! Anyhow, I had a busy week lined up and they squeezed me in around my work commitments to ensure I could take advantage of the offer. Very polite, knowledgeable staff. Work was completed in a timely Manor and vehicle was ready to collect at the specified time. Really happy with the price I paid and then theres the added bonus that they can even update Audis digital service record for my vehicle, keeping everything in one place and up to date. I'll 100% be using Chapmans as my new local garage now and I would highly recommend them to others also. Thanks guys, Jordan.

Visited chapmans today to have to a eml fault checked out on my vehicle. They also gave my car a good check over for me as I only bought it last week and I wanted someone I could trust to give me a good honest opinion of it! They have done a great job at a very fair price and even washed it for me and made me a cup of tea while I was waiting. I would highly recommend this garage to anyone looking for a good quality fairly priced service. The lads that work here are friendly and explain everything that needs to be done and there is no pressure for you to have the job done there and then. I took my Q5 in for an interim service. Very easy to book the service you want via the website and then quick email responses to a couple of questions. Andy checked the service I chose and offered some other options but no pressure sales. Service was done within a couple of hours and wash was offered but I declined because it was better to collect rather than wait. On collection Andy went through service and condition of brakes, tyres dpf soot level and no errors from scan. It was my first time visit and I normally do most of my own serving, but my car still had a decent main dealer warranty left and I wanted to maintain its Audi service history but not their prices and the reviews on Audi Leicester put me off. I had taken my car to two independent garages prior to chapmans with an annoying rattle which one garage could not diagnose and the other replaced some parts but they weren't the culprit thus costing me money I didn't need to spend at the time. The guys (Andy and Adam) at Chapmans listened to my explanation of the issue and also gave the car a thorough diagnostic. Having gone through with the repair recommendations , my audi a3 feels completely different with new front shock absorbers, stabiliser links and top mounts. The team also ensured my car was safe for the long road trip I had ahead by checking a few more areas of concern which they had spotted when carrying out the work. I first took my vehicle to Chapmans for an air conditioning re-gas and new rear brake pads and discs, the price was extremely competitive and work was completed within a reasonable time frame. Following this I took my car to Chapmans again only a couple of days ago for a diagnosis of two issues I had with my vehicle, in which I was quoted £1,000 at the main Audi dealer alongside the removal of the dash. With my permission Chapmans undertook the first two hours of diagnosis and called me with an update, I was informed through out and asked my permission before anything was carried out. My faults were corrected after 3 hours and cost me a quarter of the price the main dealer quoted. Chapmans hadn’t only found the issue but actually corrected it, without removal of the dash...I could not be more pleased! I would definitely recommend Chapmans, they are professional and honest. I will definitely be returning in the future.

What a great customer experience. The batteries had failed on my remote control for the central locking, and with the cold weather the door lock froze regularly, so getting into the car using the key was a poor option. When this happened previously it took two trips to a main dealer to fix. This time a very helpful young man looked up the correct batteries for my 20+ year old A6. Fitted new ones, checked it worked and sent me on my way at no cost. What brilliant customer service. Only a small problem but a real inconvenience solved with a smile. I have used them before for specialist work and would recommend them to any VW Audi owner.

Effective information flow and likely cost analysis at all stages. I felt as if I was an important component of the decision making team. Top team. I bought an A6 Allroad with 6 months warranty and asked the Chapman guys to check it over so I could claim within the warranty period not a few weeks after it had expired... I already knew the brake pads needed sorting and luckily they were able to do this on the day as well as give the car a clean bill of health. We were kept informed of progress every step of the way, especially when there were a couple of bolts which were completely seized, with phone calls and photos. Having read through other reviews I would like to add that I feel this is a company you can trust. As a woman you are always worried a garage is going to ripe you off. My A3 went in under warranty and Chapmans liaised with myself and the company I purchased my car from. From the off set it was clearly explained what checks would be made. We were kept informed and the car was ready next day and again explained what had been discovered and repaired. What’s more when picking up my car I noticed it was sparkling clean. They are an Audi and Volkswagen specialist so they have a lot of knowledge and proper equipment. Andy was very pleasent and kept me informed. They are not the cheapest around, but if you care about your vehicle and want a good job doing, they are an excellent alternative at a reduced price to the main Audi dealer. Very considerate and with an attention to detail which is refreshing. I had a major repair done and was very pleased with the results. I plan to have my vehicle services regularly here now. Also appears to be a good place to obtain a used Audi. Small family owned company that trade on their reputation. Well worth a call if you need a quality job done.

Booked my Audi A3 for a check on a suspected oil leak and first full service under my ownership, having been recommended Chapmans by a few friends. i was not disappointed. Andy was welcoming and informative when i dropped the car off and in contact immediately when he and his team discovered my break pads and absorbers also needed replacing (see pics on website). I have used Chapmans for years, they were first recommended to me by the RAC who recovered me after my car had broken down. All work is quoted in advance and does not exceed the price given. Most importantly for me, as a woman, I do not feel patronised by staff at this garage. They take the time to explain any problems. Work is always undertaken to a high standard -what more could you ask for!

Needed my A4’s intake manifold replacing. Even the initial diagnostic check was less than half the price that the main Audi dealer quoted me. Chapmans provided a great service from start to finish, clearly explaining each step of the process. I have an after-market warranty – I was initially worried how this would work out via an independent garage but Chapmans took care of everything, liaising with the warranty provider for me. All dead straight-forward, no fuss. And when I picked the car up, it had been cleaned inside and out too (and it really did need a clean!). This is where I’ll be taking my Audi from now on. Do note their payment terms – it’s cash or direct bank transfer. Not a problem these days with online banking, but helpful to know before you visit.

I recently had an MOT done at Chapmans, but it failed. I was disappointed, especially when I found out how much it would cost me. The men at Chapmans, explained what they will do and why they have to do it to ensure I had some idea of why I was spending that amount of money. I went in to have my car done and it came to more than I had but the men still did the work and said that I should pay the balance the next day. After over filling oil in my engine from poor advice, Andy and his team took my pride and joy in first thing the next morning. They laid out and explained the issue, where the fault potentially laid and also subsequent problems I needed to brace myself for. Very friendly in house and also updated me whilst I was sat in the service centre tearing my hair out. It needed keeping over night to degunge the DPF. Can only imagine how much of a wedge going direct to Audi would’ve cost but once the symptoms were rectified they handed it back sparkling (aside from a dent in my door I’ve got booked in from before. Visited Adam & the team on Monday morning after the catalyst fault warning light appeared on my dash (golf gtd mk7) saturday afternoon. Having looked for the fault in my Vw owners book which wasn't that helpful it's a good job I have these guy's to rely on. After a diagnostic check was carried out several faults were showing. The team explained the repairs needed (See pic in gallery broken wire on pump). At first it was hoped that the wire & plug were at fault having repaired the plug & wire & another diagnostic check carried out the secondary water pump was showing faulty so a replacement pump was required. The team kept me informed advising me all the way throughout. I have to say having only always used Audi & Vw main dealer garages these guy's are spot on genuine professional's not wanting to fix the easy & expensive way as main dealers do. Adam & the team work methodical 1 fault at a time in my case. I know first hand this would of been so much more expensive with the main dealer & wouldn't of had the customer service you receive here. I was back in my car by Tuesday night after several faults later & more wiring needed, the car was treated to a full valet too nice touch guy's. I want to say a big thank you for such brilliant work & putting main dealers garages in the shade. I will definitely be visiting for future work & recommending to everyone I know

What a fantastic find!!! I've had VW's & Audi's all my life & I never thought I would find a garage with so much knowledge & technical ability as the techs at chapmans!!! I've had a fault on my Audi for a couple of years & taken it to various so called Vw Audi specialists in Leicester with no joy, other than to try expensive parts & see. I took it to chapmans this month and they diagnosed my audi by using an oscilloscope to check wave patterns on the injectors and Adam traced a fault straight away as number three injector. He also managed to locate me a genuine bosch injector a lot cheaper than I was quoted any where else... keep up the good work... I will be back with my other cars!!!!
