They did great work repairing my severely corroded and scraped diamond-cut alloys to new (see old and new pics). Leon and his team were great at talking through the options for the proposed work and the choice of colour to restore the wheels. He was great at communicating throughout the process. All staff were super-friendly too. Great quality at a fair price. The only downside is that I've got to wash the car now as the wheels are putting the rest of it to shame, haha!

Read so many of the 5-star reviews about Customise Your Wheels and now I know why. My motor is 16 years old. The wheels were corroded, pitted and had noticeable curb damage. From the moment I got there, they couldn’t do enough. Amazing group of professionals. Took time to show me all the different colours I wanted to see against my car and were patient while I tried to decide! Make no mistake this is a proper outfit with a massive workshop. They do a proper job, dipping the wheels before refurbiing and blasting in the machine before spaying. They even have the machine for doing diamond cut wheels. Leon and his team have performed an excellent job on refurbishing the two wheels I had curbed on my Tesla. Truly professional service that involves totally stripping the wheel back to bare metal repairing then re-coating to the original colour. The finish is as new. I cannot recommend them enough. Had damaged the inside of my wheel (probably on a Liverpool pot hole) so tire kept losing pressure. Rang a few places that couldn’t help me but one recommend Leon and Your Wheels. They fitted me in no problem, checked out the wheel and fixed it in about 30minutes and really reasonable! Chap who did it (sorry don’t know name) was dead friendly and explained what he’d done. I have curbed one of my alloy wheels. Don’t be put off by the rough exterior. The fitter/ engineer that met me when I drop the car off was excellent in approach to making sure I got the repair that was needed and checked all the other wheels for signs of damage just in case as the car is being returned to lease company. I collected the car the next day. The gaffer there had all the time in the world for me, even though you could tell he was a busy man. Cheers everyone. Hopefully I won’t need you again but if I ever do I know where to come. Just to say I don’t make a point of doing reviews. I felt on this occasion it was worthy.

I recently had my 4 Alloy Wheels refurbished by Powder Coating them, the alloys were kerb damaged and corroded. I called into to their unit based in Bootle, Liverpool for a quote and to choose the colour. I booked in for the following week. The service and welcome I received was excellent. The quality of the work was outstanding and all done the same day at a very fair price. The team in Customise Your Wheels were a great bunch of lads, lots of banter. I took my car to Leon on recommendation from two local garages who I'd asked to quote for alloy wheel repairs - both said they wouldn't touch them as Customise Your Wheels would do the best job in the area. Found this gem of a garage on google. Spoke to Leon over the phone and email, sent pictures of a damaged alloy wheel and got a quote for the repair and booked in no issue(really flexible with the times). Brought the car in first thing in the morning and by the end of the day it was fully refurbished. The wheel looked as good as new, literally impossible to tell where the damage was. I kerbed the diamond cut front wheel on my BMW took it to another so called specialist wheel refurbishment on Merseyside I will call them NO Stars..The result was awful. I handed in my BMW 437M wheels which are diamond cut and really difficult to get an exact OEM match, but, Leon and his team turned it around in 24 hours and the results are brilliant, in fact better than OEM as they changed the wheel weights too to blend in. I have known Leon now for 15 years, getting various work done by him. A perfectionist at heart, all the work he has ever done, is that of a miracle maker. My 20 inch alloys on all my Jaguars have never looked so good, better than the finish from Jaguar themselves. They come back fully balanced, and are weighted on the inside, not the cheap way on the outside rim. All jobs are finished to the highest standard.
