J.Formby MOT centre did my elderly mothers MOT. It had a small fault which would have failed the MOT but they sorted it out and it passed easily. Very trustworthy and great service. Would definitely recommend.

p. s.What great service I got from the staff when I brought my vehicle in to have problems diagnosed. The mechanic led me through the diagnostics he was doing and gave me honest advice regarding replacing parts. I'm only in the area temporarily but would use this garage every time if it was in my local area. Highly recommended.

V. L.I found myself outside the garage quiet literally stranded! The key to my new car decided it was a wonderful idea to snap in the ignition. Leaving me unable to start the engine, lock the car to try and find help or remove the key and by key i mean the piece of metal that was firmly stuck in the ignition!!
Being a women the thought of just nipping into this garage and asking for help filled me with dread, i really didnt need to worry though. I was greeted by a lovely lady who kept me calm as by this point i was a nervous rambling wreck!
With in minutes there was a machanic asking which one was my car, i went to show him and was told i could stay indoors in the warm if i wanted. I was very supprised that they could look at it so quickly as they appeared to be very busy. Within a few minutes the mechanic was back, he had removed the key and locked my car. He then took the time to show me what had happened and even explained to me that the company id bought it from (it only being 3 days in my possesion i may add) did infact have a duty of care to fix it. Not only that he also pointed me in the right direction of where i could try for a cheaper option if the company wouldnt fix the key/fob. He then secured the key and the fob so i was actually able to use the car to get home and sent me on my way!
Such a lovely service considering i had no appointment and as i say this garage was clearly busy! I cant not thank all involved enough. Highly highly reccomended. Thanks again Formby MOT
