I'm satisfied with the overall service, but they are a little pricey when compared to others, especially when it comes to AC gas refills; they charged me £110 in cash, but the same service is available elsewhere for around £60 to £70. Also, when you book an online appointment, they will give you an 8:00 AM slot and don't expect to be the only one who gets it. Everyone will be assigned the same slot. ‐ Response: I'm sorry to say that no one informed me about the price of the service earlier, so I didn't have a choice. I only received one call after my vehicle drop, and it was to let me know when my vehicle was ready after the work. Regarding the slot, you explained it well; however, when I booked a slot online, I expected my vehicle to be considered by the time specified in the slot.- Thanks.

Decided to use them for the first time today to do a MOT after reading the positive reviews online. Very happy with the professional affordable service. Would not hesitate to use them again. Recommended.

Been using Abtech for a couple of years now. Most recently the radiator on my Celica rusted and they did a really good job at a good price. They always speak in layman's terms so you know what's going on and there's no messing you about. Pleasant staff too, highly recommend this workshop.

I have using Abtech for last few years and have found then very professional. I am very happy with their service and would recommend them highly to anyone. On my first visit to the garage, I initially took a quote from Halfords Charlton for a repair and then eventually took the Car to Abtech. And the final repair cost was no where close to what Halfords quoted for the same job. Since then i never looked anywhere else.

Excellent service, reliable, friendly and approachable - truly recommend Abtech Garage. I have used Abtech Garage first time as i needed an MOT done urgently and no one else was able to accommodate a same day service. When I rang up in the morning Terry was very understanding and promised to get it done before 3pm as I needed to drive somewhere urgently. He asked me to drop the car off in the morning and promised it would be ready by 3pm. All went well, was completed in time as agreed! They managed to squeeze me in and now have one more satisfied customer. I can only recommend highly ! Will be coming back soon .

I was late for my mot i phoned the company they said it wasn't a problem and told me to come in anyway and they will see to it. So far what i have gotten from this company have been very professional and they are very genuine i would definitely be going back to them. I fully trust these guys already so if my car does not pass mot im sure there will be a genuine reason for this.. It only took them two hours and that was great considering i was late and they had other cars there. thank you I had only one issue which was my side lights and the repairs only cost £5 for fitting plus bulb i would like to say this was the cheapest MOT i have ever got so thank you for that. Abtech garage offered a discount on my MOT service after some miscommunication issue about the scheduling of appointments; they finished my MOT in about 45mins max, they did not try to find problems, no advisory for next year. Recommended, I will go back. Updated 2021: Abtech garage always above and beyond. Honest garage (how rare is this?), hard working team, decent prices, quality services and fast delivery.

Someone scraped my bumper with their car and I thought it was going to be a costly job but Graham took one look at it and got all the marks off and didn't even charge me. Spot on garage! Great experience, fair pricing and very approachable and fair guys. Update: Have had two bits of work done with these guys recently. Firstly I had a strange noise coming from the engine, aux belt changed and they identified a unusual situation with a stone lodged in the old belt causing the noise I was describing (all <£60 parts & labour). More recently I needed a wheel bearing replaced urgently, I was put in for a couple days later and had them change some service items while they were at it. They were happy to fit a genuine Ford part upon request also. Highly recommend these guys for MoTs, servicing and general mechanical engineering. Labour is ~70/hour but you're always charged appropriately, no charging for them to wait for parts like others have tried to do to me in the past.

I had faulty lights showing on my dashboard and this guy that my cousin introduced me to put £400 but the problem was still there. I finally took my car to Abtech, they were professional and honest. They did diagnostic test on my car and can't find any fault, so they told me to take my car to vaxhall specialist. They did not charge me a penny. God said give credit where it due and I would highly recommend this garage.

Really happy with the service I received from Terry and his team. My car initially went to a well known chain for an MOT which they do for cheap but when the car needed shocks, I was quoted well in excess of £400 for only the 2 front ones. I was unhappy with the service I received so I went to Abtech. I have used them on a previous occasion without any problems. The service I received was friendly and positive. The prices they quoted me was fair and reasonable. The work on my car was done exactly as I wanted and the shocks + lots of additional work including tyres supplied and fitted with branded Pirelli's came in under the £400 I was initially quoted by the branded garage! I can recommend Abtech and definitely will be using them in future! Great work and keep it up!

I used this garage for the first time, for a service and MOT, as my long standing mechanic had retired. I was very impressed with ABTECH from the start. Terry, the owner of the business, was very helpful on the phone. Once I had arrived at the garage, Terry and his mechanics were very polite and friendly. I took Beetle car into this garage just few days ago to have an MOT, my car is knocking on a bit so I was expecting problems (and a big bill!) however, I was pleasantly surprised, the mechanic contacted me to advise I only needed wiper blades and asked for my go-ahead to fit them (as I had been having problems with the blade splitting I had no problem giving the go-ahead!). I'd definitely recommend them for MOT's - very helpful approachable staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff . Had an engine management light on and the guys in the workshop spent quite s bit of time locating fault and i was expecting a large bill but to their credit only charged me for the fitting a new part which was only a few pounds . I am very wary of garages as i have had bad experiences in the past so great to find an honest garage with friendly staff will definitely use them again if i have problems in the future .

I am very impressed with the honesty and approach provided by Terry to solving an engine management light problem I had with my car. I took it to the dealer and they charged me £100 to read the error codes and clear them. The engine light subsequently appeared. Terry advised me to clean the throttle body and since then the light has not appeared. Had I returned to the dealer to investigate the issue it would have been a costly and unnecessary exercise.

I had my MOT done by Abtech garage today having been failed by Kwik Fit. Big mistake thinking the half price offer by Kwik Fit is a good deal. They failed me on handbrake, but when tested by Abtech, there is nothing wrong and passed by quite a margin. Kwik Fit tried charging me £400+ to have the handbrake fixed which I declined as I have always had repairs on my car done at Abtech as they are proper mechanics.

Wonderful, honest, efficient, fantastic customer service of a standard I rarely see these days. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but Abtech deserve it.They: - told me that although they were busy they could fit me in for an MOT, - were affable and professional, - told me when they would call (and did), - left a polite and succinct voicemail when I couldn't answer, - stayed open for an extra hour when I was delayed so I could collect. An ugly, scurrilous and actually defamatory set of comments from Mr i chouhry, who neither saw the collision his sister-in-law caused, nor has seen at first hand the damage to the vehicle. I gave ample opportunity for the vehicle to be taken and repaired elsewhere, but after it had been off the road for several days, I finally engaged with her insurers (who she had already notified). Mr chouhry's tale and rating stick out like a sore thumb among the many positive reviews of Abtech on this website, which give a far more credible guide to Abtech's quality of service and strong local reputation.

Update 2017 - STILL - The best kept secret of the Isle of Dogs. Reliable, friendly, approachable. Trustworthy and knowledgeable. Everything you need a garage to be. They even do MOTs onsite now! I've been bringing my car here for years and had a great experience every time. The staff are patient and take the time to investigate and explain problems. Prices extremely reasonable, especially considering it's only a few minutes from Canary Wharf. Right next to Island Gardens DLR station and open early ideal for dropping off before work or picking up afterwards. Don't be put off if you've got a big, fancy car and think you have to go to a dealership - they can service all types.

Following a ridiculous quote from Kwik Fit Old Kent Road for nearly £800 for replacing my front brake pads and one rear tyre I felt this was incredibly high so I called the guys at Abtech and they were very accommodating and told me to pop down to have a look... after inspecting the car they confirmed my suspicions... I didn't require brake pads and the tyre is still more than safe to drive on... I will definitely return to Abtech when I do actually require the work to be done... a BIG thank you to the guys there and because of them I didn't spend a whopping £800 for no reason...
