I was recommended this garage by another local garage and cannot praise them enough. The quality and price of their service is fantastic. The first time they were honest and said there was nothing wrong with the car, and didn't charge me even though they'd spent a day testing various parts of it and taking it apart. (I've had no issues with this problem since then). The second time I had an issue with my tyre and dropped the car in unexpectedly. They called me 30 minutes later to say it was fixed and only charged me £20. As a female with no car maintenance knowledge I often feel out of my depth at car garages, but they're really friendly and honest.

I have been using AMA for at least 10 years now for MOT's, issues with my engine and electrics, regular servicing & maintenance for my current Volvo Estate. The willingness of their staff to ensure I leave confident and happy with their excellent standard of work is the reason I return year after year. Just recently, I needed both my headlight bulbs changing; a job I don't envy anyone working on a Volvo! I turned up expecting to leave my car with them for some hours, or even come back at a later date. Javed instructed one of his workers to do the job right there and then. I recently had an MOT carried out at this garage and I was very pleased with the level of service. So I took my car back there when it had a problem. Javed and his team explained the issue really well to me and although they could easily do the work (and it would have been a lucrative job for them), they said I should approach the manufacturer warranty division again, to see if they would cover it. As in their opinion it should qualify. I took their advice and ended up saving around £2k. This is a local garage with both intelligence and integrity so I will be taking my car here from now on. This is the kind of garage I've been looking for! Great, professional and kind staff, polite and welcoming. I took my Jeep Cherokee for a service and the price was more than reasonable and the level of work was very high. Not only that, but the owner, Javed, upon hearing that a week later I'd be driving down to Cornwall, offered to have my car inspected for safety free of charge the day before leaving. Garages like AMA are very rare nowadays. Highly recommended.

What can I say about this Garage... "Absolute Angels"... My mother's words. Javid is the most honest, reasonable and reliable garage owner I have ever come across... I bought a second hand car in Romford 8 months ago which gave me nothing but problems and eventually completely broke down. Got it to AMA MOTORS on the recommendation of my cousin... The BEST thing I could have ever done. The moment I walked in distressed about my car, I was treated like an old friend... Not only did this Garage completly check EVERYTHING over, they completed the work, and it was a huge job, in 24hrs in order to get me and my child back on the road. The whole team are so friendly.. What can I say I have been blown away by the way javid treats his customers, very polite and honest. Which is hard to find these days. I booked my car to his garage and the guys there were very respectable chaps, I was quoted £350 for my service very local to his place, thought I try these guys. Javid I believe he is the owner spent 25 min of his time looking and investigating into my car and reported back that my car didn’t even need any service at all and I was very early. He than called me in his office and explained. Wow amazing chap! I later discovered by looking into my service book at home he was spot on I was well too early. Thanks javid I will be back. Got very lucky with a google search having to get an mot done urgently and being away from home. The car had been failed by my local garage due to excessive wear of the suspension Bush. So I rang AMA who managed to fit me in the next morning. Despite good reviews it’s always a bit unnerving going to a new garage. To my surprise a couple of hours after dropping the car in I received a call from Javed who explained there was no need to replace the bushes and the car should not have been failed in the first place. The car was MOT’d and I was on my way. What fantastic service they could have easily carried out the work and charged me accordingly but they did the honest thing sadly a rare thing these days. Should I need anything else doing in the car I would not hesitate to drive the 50 miles from Oxford into London to get AMA to do the work. Thank you

I first met Javid who owns and works in AMA Motors around 2001. He worked for a gentleman I used from 2000 to 2017 when his garage closed. Javid nearly always worked on my car and as a female it is hard to find someone trustworthy and at a reasonable price. When Javid left to start up his own business he never told any of the customers he was leaving to start his own garage or asked them to come, even though he started from day one he told me with zero customers. Even when I bumped into Javid about four years ago in the street he still never asked me to come to his establishment as he considered me a customer of his previous boss. This says a lot for his character, honesty and loyalty and that obviously transcends to the way he treats his customers. Once my old garage closed down at the end of 2017 I searched for Javid's name in google and the area I had a feeling he worked in. I was not surprised to read other stories similar to mine, how people had searched for and found Javid. Last week I took my employer's car there as I wanted someone I could trust at a reasonable rate and I am taking my own car there this weekend. His garage is immaculate, Javid and his staff are amazing. If you are a female and want to feel you are being given an honest and reasonable service then you cannot go wrong with AMA Motors, Javid and his wonderful staff.

To start with, i have to say i am someone that does not like writing reviews (due to being lazy) however, this is a MUST. All of mechanics i've come across are sleezy liars and im sure many of you have found that out the hard way like I did. So when i first approached AMA i thought i'd test their honosty after a recommendation. As i had just been ripped off in kilburn at a useless garage for £300. i asked the head mechanic at ama (Javed) for a qoute of the same work the previous garage did, obviously not informing him i had just paid 300 for it. I expected 250? 200? At least 190?... No Javed replied £90!! That sums everything up i think.. no? Since then i've taken at least 6 cars to him + a motorbike now to and have never been dissapointed with their work and rock bottom prices. Honestly an amazingly friendly bunch at A M A and they really do deserve this review. Im positive everyone i've recommended them to will certainly agree! So well done A M A!

After getting into an incident last night I called these AMA up and asked how best to get to them with not working vehicle, Javed gave me the number of a local (& cheap) tow man and get me up there as quick as possible. On arrival, Javed took one look at the damage and insisted on getting the car seen as quickly as possible.
