I’ve held off reviewing this garage for a few weeks because the whole experience was so positive that I expected the car to breakdown a week later just to spite me. Pleased to say that hasn’t been the case. Took my car in as it was leaking quite a bit of radiator fluid. I’d not used the garage before. But Amir immediately came across very friendly and honest. He replaced the radiator that evening (I dropped it off at about 3pm) and it was ready to be collected at 9am the next day. Everything now working fine. Will definitely use again

Have been to this garage a couple of times and to be honest I thought the reviews must be fake as they are so high. I'm glad to say that they are true. Brought my car in as the engine was making a worrying noise I couldn't locate. They took the car in and were very transparent. Rang later to say it was 1 of 2 things. 1 was expensive and the other cheap. I thought I was being prepped for a big bill. Thankfully they rang back to say it was the cheaper option and even showed me a video of how the came to their conclusion. Car is back running great and noise is gone. Would highly recommend. Top quality service couldn't recommend highly enough. Unfortunetely, was miss sold a car on Ebay and decided to get it serviced through Amir's garage to find out if anything was actually wrong with the car. After dropping it into Autocentre south, I explained the issues that were occuring with the car and he promptly got to work with the car running a full diagnostics (bearing in mind, completely free of charge). He then advised me on the next steps to take and even got in contact with is Dad who is a solictor to see where I stood with being missold the car I bought. I can’t recommend the amazing guys at Autocentre enough for their help today. I had been to another garage who had suggested I might be likely to spend close to £2k on some damage to a light and the bumper on my car. I took it to Amir who kindly took a look and fixed it on the spot, polished the scuff out and wouldn’t take any money. This is my second review in a month as I really can't recommend these guys enough. I took my car in for a tyre repair on an expensive run flat tyre. For the last 15+ years of owning a car, every time I have taken my car in with a tyre issue I've been charged £200+ for a new run flat tyre. Amir yet again has looked after me and managed to do a puncher repair on the tyre saving me hundreds of pounds again. I am beyond grateful and thankful to have Amir and this amazing garage on my doorstep. Do not hesitate to take your car there, I encourage you to. The most honest and kind garage ever.

Fantastic job – Professional Courteous service – Highly Recommended I only discovered AutoCentre South when Kwik Fit cancelled my appointment at the last moment and I’m so glad that they did. I needed an MOT and several problems fixed for my old 2002 Polo (don’t laugh). The power steering had gone and brake warning lights were showing on the dashboard. They did a brilliant job – the car feels like new. And for a great price. Can't recommend this garage highly enough. They are always helpful and the prices are good. We've used them for a couple of years and wouldn't go anywhere else. They look after both of our cars (each with 100k+ on the clock) and two of our children's. My son was told by his dealer that he needed a £1500 repair and there was no way to get it cheaper. I told him to go to Bobby at Autocentresouth who found a work around and fixed it for £300.

Honestly could not speak higher of a garage. Through the years, I have used a vast variety of garages and none compare to Autocentre South. After some considerable damage to my Evoque, I was expecting to be off the road for a few weeks. Aamir managed to fit me in, obtain the parts and complete the repairs - all in a matter of days! Having lived lived in London for several years now I have always been careful with regards to garages and their prices/services. I have always gone out of the way to visit a car garage used by my family, however after 3 long drives and excessive vibrations and the sound of clunking, I knew the idea of a long journey would be out of the question. I called and took my car in very early morning and with regular check-ins from Bobby the car was thankfully fixed and ready for me to collect on the Saturday!! After being let down by a well known group which conducted an MOT which my car failed because of a loose bumper which they then weren't prepared to fix ... I found via google Autocentresouth in Balham and Bobby was extremely helpful. They took my car in fixed the bumper and did a check of all things MOT prior to putting it through the test, so that it would pass. You pay slightly more for the MOT but having the logical thing (a check first conducted by the garage) is definitely worth the small extra cost ! I also had the annual Full Service with them and a fix of oil leak which had also been highlighted by the MOT fail. I will definitely use them in future and recommend them to everyone I know ! Very reasonably priced, honest and efficient.

Great service - really respectful an polite! I'd recommend this garage to anyone. The prices aren't the cheapest, but you can trust them, it's super convenient and they keep you in the loop with all diagnostics and parts that are getting ordered and at when you'll be able to pick your car up (for me, it was same day - no problem). A really trustworthy service, tailored to you and the age of your vehicle, so you don't pay over the odds for an older car. Will definitely use them again.

I am constantly amazed at the service provided by Bobby and his team. Have moved onto a BMW 545i and continue to use autocentre. Probably the best garage in South London? Previous review - Went there from seeing other reviews. I have a tatty 2002 BMW 330d estate and the guys took good care of it and got it through its MOT. Fantastic service! On the day of my MOT my car wouldn't start (I left interior light on the night before and flattened the battery). They came round and jump started and collected my car for me! Bought a used car a couple months ago -- has been running just fine, but the engine light came up on the dash over the weekend. The light went off by itself Monday morning, but I still decided to take it over to Autocentresouth around 7.30am. Bobby recommended a full check and a diagnostics test the following morning at the same time and I had my car back within a few hours. Upon pick up, Aamir explained to me everything is ok with the car -- which is always a sigh of relief (especially after I play internet car doctor and work myself into a panic thinking I'll need to replace 100 parts) -- and outlined a couple of areas they noticed, but why they're non-issues. My experience with Bobby and Aamir was great and as I live in the area will positively be returning for all servicing needs. Finally, if you arrive early enough to miss the crowd and have a chance to chat with Bobby, take it -- very interesting man!

We've used this garage a couple of times in the last few weeks - for an MOT and for an emergency drop in when the front wheel started making a very funny noise. They were courteous and accommodating on both occasions - they were happy to take the car immediately despite the fact it wasn't booked in, the engineer came to listen to the noise and I ran off to work, leaving it with them. I was very pleasantly surprised when I found out later in the day that the problem had been a stone jammed in the wheel and that there would be no charge for fixing it. I was very pleased with the service they have provided at the garage and how helpful and honest they were. I had MOT done there , while doing MOT they noticed that the battery clamp was missing and they ordered it and installed in my car (charging only for the part) . Previously for about four years I used to go to another garage for MOT and servicing my car, every year they charged me for full service of my car. I only drive about two thousands miles a year. When I mentioned it to my friends they said my car does not need a full service every year (because I drive so little) and advised me to change the garage. I have found Autocentresouth on google search and after reading the positive reviews decided to have MOT done there and ask them if my car needs service. I have been very satisfied with the service and advice given by Bobby, he of course said my car does not need a full service every year and since it was done a year ago I can wait till next year. Being fairly oblivious to cars I’ve always been sceptical about taking my car to the garage. After reading the fantastic reviews I decided to give autocentre south a try. A clunking sound from underneath the car became more and more apparent and it got to the stage where I was beginning to feel uncomfortable and honestly a bit unsafe. Rather than make up a false reason and charge us - Bobby just explained that's what happens every now and then when the car needs a service - no need to do anything. I was unlucky enough to break down with a complete ignition failure on a trip from Southampton to Dulwich in a slightly vintage 1.8 Golf Cabriolet. The first garage I rang was utterly unhelpful, but then by fortune I got in touch with Autocentre South. Bobby is the proprietor. After a short chat, he got one of his mechanics to tow the car in for no charge when a commercial operation would have charged the earth. He then honestly said with the need for spare parts the car would be unfixable that day , but he would be in touch. So I did not have to hang around and took the train back to Southampton. That evening I had a phone call with a quote and an ETA for work to be completed. Everything was done as expected to a high standard on a car most mechanics in any garage would rarely see these days. You can tell the quality of a workman and his garage by the way the workshop looks. In Autocentresouth it looks like a workshop before the Top Gear Team get there. Really shipshape. Cannot recommend them too highly.

Autocentre South do all our car repairs and MOTs etc. They're very accommodating on appointments; they price things reasonably; do the work on time and well and communicate without going in for all those text reminders and pushy selling stuff other garages sometimes employ. Their work has always been good. I'd recommend them. There is not a lot of parking around there but usually possible to leave on the forecourt before work and pick up later or the next morning.

I have used Autocenter South for the last 15years and they have proved to provide the best service every time. They are fairly priced, very professional and for someone whom knows little about cars are very trust worthy. When my car battery died and I couldn't move the car to get it over to the garage Bobby, Eddy and their team arranged to come to my house (about 3 miles away) and perform the diagnostic tests required and replace the battery in situ. I'm only 'road side assistance' with the AA meaning I would have had to pay £150 to be towed to get the car fixed. Autocentre South prevented the need to spend these monies. Bobby knew I had to be at an important meeting early the following morning and came at 10.30pm to register the battery such that I was able to use the car. Clearly this is above and beyond what a 'normal' local garage would do. 5 Stars

I called in and they checked the battery and alternator then and there, explaining the readings as they went. They then managed to get me a bigger, better battery at a great price. I say this with no exaggeration that Bobby is the epitome of exemplary customer service, rarely seen in London or indeed the world today. He is of a sadly vanishing breed of people who believe that honesty, charm and common decency to your fellow man are the key ingredients to a successful business. Couple that with an effective workforce and the cheapest prices on either side of the Thames and you have a recipe that can't fail. I wish they did more than just car repairs so I have an excuse to go back more often, but alas, I'll just have to wait (rather excitedly) for my next service.

I used this garage twice and was always very satisfied. I work as a driving instructor, franchise with one of the major driving schools and therefore I have to use certain garage for service, tyre changes etc. so I avoid paying unnecessarily. Recently I needed to change the bulb in the headlight of my Vauxhall Corsa. I called one of the major car service chains and they weren't too sure if they can do it. I called the Vauxhall dealer but couldn't make an appointment for the same day. No help there since I needed it to be done the same day. So I called Autocentre South. There was no hesitation, I was told to come right away. I turned up, job was done in 20 minutes without a problem. I had a lovely conversation with the mechanic whilst waiting, the owner is also very pleasant guy to talk to and knows his stuff. I am so pleased to find a garage that I recommend. My mini has been 'ill' for many years, nobody seemed able to fix it. I would be sold a new battery and sent on my way. The problem got worse (the alarm going off whilst I was driving, windows going up and down etc) I contacted a local garage - Autocentre to ask whether it would be possible for them to collect my car (which had yet another flat battery) and deliver it to the mini garage. (The mini garage won't collect cars that don't work - can you believe it?!). Bobby at Autocentre agreed to take it, and said that he would look at it first. Well he has fixed it, the car is now back and fully functioning, the fault wasn't with the battery but with the electronics. Thank you Bobby and Autocentre for fixing my 'unfixable' car.
