Nobody likes to pay to repair a car but they made sure I understood what needed doing and why, so I never felt like they were doing work for the sake of it. The mechanic I spoke to Jack, was very helpful and with money being tight, he kept my bill to the minimum to safely get my car back on the road and MOT'd. The receptionist was very helpful on the phone to arrange my pickup around my work. Will 100% be back next year

I have used this garage in the past , and found them very professional , with attention to detail. I had a nail in my tyre and just drove in , they (as always) was very helpful, although they don't hold tyres on stock, they ordered a new tyre right away , kept the car secure overnight and did the repair ASAP, they also (with out me asking) checked and corrected my other tyres, pressures and refilled my window washer . This attention to customer service is fantastic . I would unreservedly recommend Automec garage to everyone. Thank you Automec , Five Star Service.

Jack and his dad are very lovely and friendly not to mention VERY understanding with a lot of compassion. I had to leave my car in the shop for 2 weeks despite it bring fixed the next day I dropped it in due to high risk pregnancy issues the guys were so understanding and told me to focus on myself and everything was fine there with my car. When I arrived they were happy and smiley full of jokes and gave me a wonderful expierence as I was so stressed and unsure if I was able to leave the car that long. I would definitely use them again and definitely recommend them to anyone. What a lovely lot I wish I could have done more as they were so kind and checked if I was ok. Thank you so much guys you are stars

I went in after the engine management light came on our Audi A3. The folks diagnosed the problem (a faulty sensor), gave me the price and then got everything fixed within 24 hours. After the repair, they called and told me that it needed to be driven some distance to get everything recalibrated. They advised I do that instead of them to save me paying an extra couple of hours of labour costs. A very honest garage that clearly take pride in what they do.

I dropped the car here to have the window repaired a few weeks ago. They ordered the parts in and sorted the window out very quickly. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and kept me informed throughout. Great experience, would use in the future.

Jack a very honest mechanic. Used him 2 times and no charge. He test drove my car on 2 occasions and told me the problem both times with out charge. Did work on my car for free. I've eventually found an honest garage. 👍thanks Jack

What a FANTASTIC GEM of a GARAGE ..Had 2 Cars that needed a Good Few things doing to them.. which included an Air Con Regas, Suspension Parts, Brakes and Engine Light Diagnosis ...all of which we Knew Needed Checking Out ...this was all done Quickly , Efficiently and all at a Competitive Price ..and Everything was Explained and Discussed in Detail with JACK ...who I must Say has the Very Best Customer Service Skills I have come Across with any Garage I have Dealt with in YEARS ..including Main Dealers !!! Our Cars were all Fixed and Cared for Promptly and I was kept up to date all the way ..which for Me is an Extremely Important Part of Good Service. This is Now my Go To Garage which I am Pleased to say is also on my Doorstep ... How Lucky am I 😀 Will also Deffo Recommend to Family and Friends without Hesitation. Sending a Big THANKYOU to both Jack and the Automech South East Team 👍😁

I have used Automech for a number of years and started with MOT, but as with all things it needed some repairs, these were carried out very quickly and at a reasonable cost too. I have used them ever since and have never had any problems. Very friendly and efficient, I would have no problems recommending them.

I love how honest this garage is and their prices are very competitive for the top quality work they do. Their customer service is top notch! Julie is great at keeping you informed with what work that's needed on the car or whether your car is finished and will remind you when your MOT is due well ahead of time. Thanks Julie! I've been coming here for 3 years or so and see myself using them for a long time :) There's a Sainsbury's supermarket 5 minutes walk away that has a cafe so handy if your car is only in for an hour or so.

Taken my car to a few independent garages before but Automech are by the far the best ive dealt with. Very friendly people and a great business all round. Finally, a garage that has a PhD in knowing stuff, is polite, friendly and knows that if they don't rip you off and provide a great service you will return for years - and you'll tell your family and friends. I'd trust them with my granny! But in the meantime, they are now also taking care of my dad's and my sister-in-law's cars. I found them via the Good Garage Scheme and they discovered and fixed an intermittent fault that had puzzled two other garages. It's been a struggle finding a good, reliable garage: sometimes you think you've found one, but then after a couple of visits they begin to let you down or take your business for granted. A gem of a garage where they genuinely seem to enjoy their work - and where customers come first.

I started using Automech in 2016 after trying several local garages. They came with a 5 * recommendation by a friend and believe me, if Google had a six star rating, I would much rather have used that! I drive a 57 registration Fiat 500 which I bought from a "reliable" car dealer and none of the "repairs" were done which I was told had been done. Automech helped save time and money with expert advice and impeccable service. Julie and Nick are a great team and I hope they will be around for many years to come.

For 3 Generations my family have been using this garage and its great to say that this garage has not forgot what customer service is. Whether its me, my wife, my mum, son or daughter you always know that they will treat you with respect and explain what needs to be done to your car. Cars are expensive to run we all know that and every little helps when trying to keep costs down and at Automech you always feel you've got the best value for money. Nothing is to much trouble whether its a quick phone call or picking your car up when you cant get to them. they text when MOT is due. They open early so its easy to drop off when on the way to work. They call and explain what needs doing before they start work and always tell you when to expect it back. I cant finish without mentioning Julie what a great asset, keeps you updated all the time and always tries to help.
