Absolutely brilliant service thanks to Peter and the team. Had a failed MOT from a famous garage because headlamp aim too high. I was told that this can’t be fixed in their garage because this wasn’t a mechanic job (the same people who fitted the headlamps, go figure 🤷 …). Called C&E Motors and got same day appointment and in few hours everything was sorted including my MOT! Nice and friendly professional people.

I had read all the positive reviews and decided to try C&E Motors. I could not be happier with the quality of the work, professionalism, and integrity. My car's heater was not working and was just blowing cold air; there was a stuck switch upon investigation. They quickly released the switch, called me within two hours of dropping it off for a pickup, and refused to charge me for this work. Wow. I had missed our MOT date and called in a bit of a panic to get a date booked in - they said they were fully booked for the week but could make space for me the next day. Wow Lastly, I had a minor fender bender for repair - their cost was super competitive, and the work was done in a day. Top-notch and very pleased (they returned the car washed and vacuumed and cleaner than it was when I dropped it off). I can not recommend the team highly enough. The best auto experience I have had to date. Five Stars across the board! Thank you to Peter and the team!

My car was due up for its MOT, this would be the first one since I bought my car last year. I had a break from having a car and wanted a recommendation of a good mechanic that I could give my car a service and MOT. I was told to check out C& E Motors in Greenwich and was not disappointed in the least. Peter and his colleague were very friendly and even said that I was not in need of a service as I had only done 900 miles and my filters were still clear. He did top up were necessary, but only charged for the MOT which passed. Good and trusted mechanics are few and far between and these two are definitely in this bracket, I couldn't recommend them highly enough and will be using them from now on for years to come. Glad that my neighbour recommended them to me and I won't be looking back.

Five stars from a young woman! I went there to get a second opinion on my car. Usually mechanics don't take me seriously... Peter and his team were super welcoming and friendly and listened to my concerns. I got my confirmation that I'd been ripped off at my old garage after they did a day's worth of testing on the engine - and they didn't even charge me for it. Excellent garage. I had a problem with a part fitted by another Greenwich garage. That garage did not meet the warranty as agreed. I had been recommended C&E Motors by someone else. So I called them and they gave honest and helpful advice. They charged nothing for the advice, even taking a look at my car and running some tests, and they did not pressure me in any way. I asked if they could source and fit a new part. They did this at cost, feeling bad about how the other garage had mistreated me. They are very trustworthy and clearly keen to give good service. They seem to have done a good job, and I will keep going back to them for MOTs, services and any other fixes needed for my car as it gets older.

Can't recommend C&E Motors highly enough! I booked in my car here for an MOT after a recommendation from a friend and everything was perfect. Peter and his team are super friendly, efficient, reasonably priced and most importantly honest. I needed a few repairs that were all well priced and Peter talked through each repair and the price in detail. Great to have found a new local honest mechanics, but even if you aren't local, these guys are worth travelling across London for!

I had a lot of niggly problems with my car and the dealer wanted to charge me a fortune just to investigate. Peter took the time to explain all the issues with my car and visually show me them. The work carried out took many hours longer then I was originally quoted for however I was still charged a fair price and all the issues were fixed. Due to the age of my car getting the parts was not easy yet Peter was able to obtain them, even having to order a part from Scotland! Wonderful experience at C & E motors! This was my first time taking my car to a garage in London and I was pretty nervous that I might be overcharged or conned into work I didn't need. But Peter and the team were fantastic. I took my car in for some new tyres and also thought I needed my brake discs/pads replacing, but - after checking them over - Peter informed me that there's no need to spend money on the brakes at this stage as they're still in good condition. It's so refreshing to experience this kind of honesty, I feel like another garage would have done the work and charged me for it anyway! They were also very transparent with the other work that needed to be done, providing me with the cost breakdown the items and labour and giving me a selection of tyre prices to choose from. Will definitely be returning here for any future work and feel very comfortable putting my trust in the team!

Literally the best garage I have been to. I have been going to C&E Motors the last 3-4 times and every time they have been so transparent and honest about how they conduct their business. Today I had a semi flat tire and they sorted it out for me free of charge because they couldn't find the puncture and re-up some air for me. AMAZING SERVICE!!! Bought a used car, and took it to the chaps for a once-over. So glad I did. Turns out the car had a broken headlight mounting (MOT Fail) and extensive undisclosed bodywork repairs. This garage have been fantastic in helping to sort out a fault that should have been picked up by the dealer I bought my car from. Peter kindly agreed to liaise with the dealer as they had said they would pay for the diagnostics and repairs if they received the quote 1st. Only the dealer then said they would not cover the cost of the repairs under the warranty which lead me to having to wait 5 days until I could pay for the repairs. So many good reviews I was a little suspect but living nearby I went along. They were great. I have been to 4 other Greenwich garages to ask about fitting a battery cutoff switch. Peter spent 10 minutes of his time explaining why I would be better off using a free alternative and gave me a free plastic cover for the battery terminal. It's comforting to find that there are still honest people with integrity in the world. Peter at C&E Motors is one of them. Let me tell you the story...I had taken advantage of an 'offer' from KwikFit for a combined service and MOT, after which they advised that my brake discs were nearly at the minimum safe thickness and corroded and offered me a ridiculous quote to change them. Yes, I should have known better given their reputation, but clearly I needed to learn that lesson for myself! Fortunately, I discovered some good sense at this point and sought a second quote from C&E which was much more reasonable. A few days later, I dropped my car off for the work to be done only to receive a call from Peter 30 minutes later telling me the work wasn't necessary, my brakes were fine and that I had been offered poor advice. Now, he could have gone ahead with the work, billed me, I would have paid and been none the wiser, but he didn't and on that basis alone, I would certainly recommend Peter and his team at C&E Motors. Thank you.

I cannot recommend Peter and his team enough. We bought a 2nd hand Mini last year that we got about 6 weeks of use out of before having to take it in (to another garage) to have the issues investigated. According to the garage, it was a write off, but they were willing to buy the car off of us. Suspicious that they were trying to have one over on us we took the car home. Keen to get a second opinion (approx. 7 months later!), we called C&E Motors. We had a flat tyre by this point and the battery was completely flat. They came and pumped up the tyre, jump started the car and took it into the garage for us which was so helpful. The car was thoroughly investigated and unfortunately the outcome was the same - it would be too expensive too repair. Peter arranged for the scrappy to come and collect the car on the next working day. Peter and his team were professional, thorough, honest and are in my opinion, completely trustworthy. It's not about the money for them, they're all about providing an exceptional service and maintaining their unblemished reputation. Thank you Peter and team! You smoothed over what had turned into a very stressful situation. Can't thank you enough for your help, support and prompt action.

Not used C&E previously, but they were recommended and I was impressed. Put the car in with a few faults and received a phone call a couple of hours later advising essential and recommended works and costs. Authorised the works and received regular updates. Upon collection there was a good handover including a pile of changed parts and discussion about when to proceed with additional recommended works. Didn't feel like I was being pressured into additional works. Car was certainly a better drive after the service.

Was impressed with this place, a month, 1000 miles later and the car runs like a clock. Exceptional paint work, highly reccommended. Also fixed a long standing warning light issue, source of which no other mechanic identified correctly, they've even thrown in windscreen wipers without being asked and tidied up the inside throughout! Peter just came to our rescue- even though it was way after closing time, and he was on his way home, he waited 15 minutes for us to make it to his garage when we got stuck with a suddenly steaming engine at the start of a long journey.
