1st time using this garage following a recommendation from a smartcar website. Amazing customer service from start to finish from the lady in reception. They sorted my steering problem and cleared my washer jet without charge. Identified a concern with my clutch and highly likely I will use them to sort.

Been going to get my MOT here for a number of years. Not the cheapest, but still reasonable. Main thing to consider is that their trustworthy. I’d rather pay a few quid more and get mechanics I trust to MOT or service my car.

Just had my car oil changed. I do agree to what other say. it is a great service. They do everything as they say and extra, making sure all liquids are topped up and car wheel air has. Top job guys. Great that I did go with other guys and found you. Keep up the great work. Shout out to young guy that did the service!

I took my daughter Smart car to Dipsticks Tyres & Exhausts as there was a problem with the locking system. The services we received was second to none!! They ordered in parts, stripped the panels off to fit the parts and found that the problem was not resolved. They then identified that it was the Sam unit, which was best dealt with by the main agent. When visited the garaged to find out what was going on with the car, the owner gave me a detailed explanation of the problem and how to best resolve it. So next I asked the all-important question COST!! And the response blew me away…..Don’t worry mate I can send all the parts back so there is no charge!! After picking myself up I said you have spent time and deserve something for your trouble, no mate was the reply you brought the car here to be fixed and we haven’t fixed it!! I would highly recommend this company for their honesty, customer service, and knowledge. Thank you very much Dipsticks Tyres & Exhausts and I hope the dogs enjoyed the treats

First time visiting this garage for an MOT as it had been recommended and I felt that I had been given a poor service at another garage in the area which I had been using for years. I have to say that they were brilliant and turned around the MOT in less than an hour and half, including fitting a new tyre which was needed for a very fair price. They will now be my go-to garage and I would definitely recommend them.

I don't normally write reviews but I chose this garage because of the reviews they had received!!!! So, I thought I'd just quickly write one for them as well. I contacted them re:my exhaust...they were very friendly and I saw them 2 days after my phone call. They sourced the right exhaust and had it fitted in about 3 hours....Fabulous! They explained everything to me and were very competitive in pricing ( for a London garage) Will definitely use them again. Claire

Had a problem with my smart car; gears were not shifting properly. Took it to my local garage they diagnosed the problem, however weren't able to work on the car and they recommended dip stick's as a Smart car specialist. Drove over and the guy's diagnosed the problem similar to my trusted local. Booked the car in for a clutch replacement this morning and got the car back before 5pm. Rob showed me the old clutch too. Overall I was very happy with the service. A Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very experienced garage on Smart cars. Price was quoted clearly, approximate times were communicated. My car is shifting sweetly. Definitely recommend. Thank you to the guys at Dipstick's!

Friendly team and quick service. I called up on a Monday at 11AM and got a MOT booked in for 4.30 the same day. The price was reasonable and the team were helpful. They turned the car around in their driveway to make it easy to exit the carpark. Would use these guys again.

Staff from the garage through to the office supervisors are on hand to give you all the information, help and guidance you might need with your car. I can’t recommend this garage enough, the staff always help me out with what ever I need from servicing too MOTs and parts. Specialists also in Smart cars, they really know what they’re talking about. So save yourself some time and money going to the main dealers or any other garage and go straight to Dipsticks for a professional, cheaper, friendlier and more personal service.

I dropped in unannounced before a long drive because the engine management light on my Saab had come on: James (the proprietor) went out of his way to help me, including taking the car for a test drive. He even reversed it into the service area afterwards so that I could drive it straight out. He reassured me that the car was OK and it made it from London to Dorset without missing a beat. I used Dipsticks when I lived in Wanstead and the service is as good now as it was then. Great people and highly recommended.

Odd pattern of reviews on this site. I have this garage every few months for mots, servicing and ad hoc repairs and they are always efficient, courteous and above all fairly and transparently priced, especially for a London garage. They won't do work that isn't necessary and the staff are always impeccably behaved.

I found this amazing garage by doing there for extinguishers for them... Could tell by chatting with them they know what there talking about... Staff very friendly and knowledgeable . I had a edt on my 2003 81k subaru impreza and a re gas of the air con ... Car feels so much better smoother quicker and better mpg ... I didn't think it would make difference but wow so so good :) aircon nice and cold when it's 23c out :) thanks to James Alison Rob matt :) will be going my best to send more their way don't worry about that :)

I had the engine clean carried out last year. I was told it would cut down on fuel consumption, and thought "Oh yea". But I was amazed at the result. I traveled back and forth to Oxford on regular basis to hospital and used nearly a Tank of petrol (I have Navarra 2.5) After engine clean only used half tank, hard to believe but true. Tyre kept going flat. Advised by a tyre shop in Catford needed a new wheel. Thought it didn’t sound right. So when to Dipsticks as I had used them before in the past. Instead of the suggested new wheel at £200, I spent £20 and had the wheel cleaned, rubbed down and resealed. Honest, helpful and fair people and great customer service.
