Shopped around for my alloy wheel refurbishment for a while until I was recommended this place. A little more expensive than my previous quotes but they all said they wouldn't be able to get them back to how they were. FAW gave me replacement tyres so I didn't have to leave the car over the weekend, when I picked them just now I was genuinely shocked at how my alloys have come out. You can see how damaged they were in the photos, they now look brand new. First class service - I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially with Diamond Cut alloys.

Took my Tesla in to fix the door handle and sorted the aircon issues - staffs there are super prompt and helpful. Booked a time for checks with them and they were able to fix the handle on the spot. Very easy to work with - certainly don't help my cars play up but if they do I certainly wouldn't mind going back to First Aid Wheels.

First aid wheels are THE place to go in North London to get your alloy wheels refurbished. They take 4/5 days to get done, but you get interim loan wheels on your car to keep you going. When you come back to get your wheels, they’re looking like new!!! Just amazing! These guys are brilliant!!

The Diamond Standard! The team at First Aid Wheels provide an excellent service. They are friendly, efficient and highly skilled at repair work. Did a superb repair on my BMW 19" Bicolour Orbit Grey 704 M double-spoke alloy wheel. Was given a spare wheel of similar specification whilst being repaired so not inconvenienced for the turnaround time. Had the full factory premium Diamond Cut refurbishment, wheel welding, replacement M sticker, finished off with Ceramic Coating and even fitted the new tyre I supplied. The wheel looks stunning and now back to showroom condition. Highly recommended!!

Kai and the team sorted me out with new powder coated wheels for my BMW 650i. I have wanted to get the wheels done for ages, but can never find the time to leave the car at the wheel refurbishment place. I arrived with a set of fresh tyres stuffed in the boot and cabin and my worn our runlflats on the car on scuffed wheels. They fitted my new tyres to a set of freshly powder coated OEM wheels that had been prepared for me on the exchange scheme and had me on my way in less than an hour. Much more convenient than leaving the car at a wheel refurb shop which is what I have done in the past. The new wheels look every bit up to BMW OEM standard and the whole process was painless (apart from the angina inducing reversing out of the yard not wanting to scuff my nice new wheels!) The same price as a traditional refurbishment and much more convenient. I would definitely recommend them.

I booked in to have my F10 BMW 530D wheels exchanged. From the start the communication was exceptional, they kept me informed of the status of the wheel preparation and when they’d be ready. On arrival the place was busy (always a good sign) but I was greeted and the process started. He took my keys, explained they would check for buckles but they would send videos so I could see for myself. All 4 of my wheels were buckled so I paid a small surcharge for each wheel but this was still less in total than if I used a company like the wheel specialist. An hour later my wheels were exchanged and I was on my way. Professional from the start, I recommend these guys completely! You will not be disappointed! Thanks guys!

I couldn’t make it as I was working, Mrs went over, they looked at the alloy, welded the hairline crack, recommended that the there is an ever so slight bend in the alloy which is within the tolerance and doesn’t need fixing. I visited First Aid Wheels after a recommendation from my mechanic. As a woman I was not familiar with this type of work and somewhat apprehensive about taking my car for fear of embarrassment regarding the process and cost. A gentleman called Stan put that to rest. He was professional, honest and informative about what products were available to me and which would be best for my car. He walked me through the process(which I found quite interesting!) and quoted price which was displayed, so I was reassured I was not getting ripped off. I was offered tea whilst I waited and my whole experience could not have been better. I highly recommend this business and Stan in particular to anyone looking to repair their wheel rims.

Absolutely first class service from First Aid Wheels! I went to them with a seriously buckled alloy prepared for bad news.... From the moment I arrived Toby took care of things brilliantly, explaining the job, the risks of the repair and giving a fair price. An hour or so later the wheel was true and back on the car! These guys are professional and know their stuff. They saved me from driving around in a car with a badly fitted rear nearside tyre. I thought the issue was the alloy wheel but the guys took the wheel off, checked it and said it wasn’t the wheel but the tyre. They refitted it properly, freshly re-balanced the wheel and checked the rest. I was preparing to have to try and hunt down and buy a secondhand replacement alloy but in the end these guys sorted out my issue for just £18 inc. VAT. Searching for hours for a place that refurbished wheels, i stumbled upon First aid Wheels. It had a ton of reviews,and with the the damage I accumulated, i needed the best people to fix it. The workmanship is top class ... on each occasion I was presented with what appeared to be a brand new set of wheels. In fact they looked even better than new wheels. Although my Golf GTi wasn't as flashy as some of the cars here, I got VIP treatment and that attitude makes this place particularly impressive. They REALLY care about the customer experience, and that includes the folks doing the dirty work who were so friendly! I did the like for like wheel swap on my Audi. Arranged the appointment for 9.30am, the whole team knew what they were doing, new tyres, valves, balanced, wheels back on and on my way at 10.30. They will give you a spare set of temporary wheels to enable you to keep using your car while the alloys are being done. All four wheels were diamond cut and glossed in about 4 days. Took it in late on Monday and got the refurbished wheels on Friday afternoon of that week. They are very busy but I didn't have to book ahead. The spec was exactly as I had asked and looks great. It's not a very personal service but that's because they are busy - and that's quite a good sign. I'd definitely recommend them.

In comparison to a few other alloy companies I enquired with I was very impressed. Averagely priced but they have the right attitude from what I can see. Gosia and Paul were helpful. The finish they provided was excellent and they tried to make sure I was happy so we got the match right on what is probably one of the hardest finishes (Lexus black shadow chrome). All I would say is that any more complicated requests it is best to address with the office staff rather than the guys working on the wheels just to ensure it gets done correctly. Contacted them via their website about my Mini's curbed front wheels that were leaking air despite new tyres. Got a call back the next day to discuss my options. Decided to bring the car in and went for a full refurb instead of a fix. It wasn't cheap, but I'd say very good value. They loaned me a set of wheels so I could drive away and come back when ready, a nice touch if you work and aren't local. The wheels came back factory fresh with new caps all around. They look great, but most importantly they don't leak any more, so are now safe. The only thing to note is the access to the yard is tight if you're a nervous driver, be aware. They're also seemingly always busy, so be prepared to wait. But it is worth it, highly recommended!

As I can't write another review I thought I would edit this one, I got myself an Audi S5 and the wheels needed a full decent refurb after a previous rubbish one so I contacted First aid wheels after a brilliant first experience, Gosia was excellent and as they didn't have a set of exchange wheels I was given a set of loan wheels for a week whilst mine was having a full refurb, colour change and buckle removal and the end result was awesome. I hope I'm careful enough with these that I don't need to go back but if I do then I'm happy enough to do so. This really is a great place to go to .

I found FA Wheels on line, and the gallery views looked very good. As I travel through this area regularly, it was perfect to pop in to see what could be done. My wheels were badly corroded, and losing air around the rims. Called into reception, and Gosia checked the wheels immediately. The price given was very good, with a small discount as well ! An appointment was made, and I left the vehicle on a Tuesday afternoon (as my wheels are an American make, unfortunately no temporary wheels were available ). A call to me on Friday ( late morning ), said the wheels were finished, and my vehicle was ready to go. The finish is an exact copy to the original, and I think it is first class. I will let anybody who asked me about the " new " wheels , where to get the same result.

These guys are terrific! Phoned for an exchange quote, they had the wheels for my car in stock, went to West Hampstead and an hour later, drove out with a 'new' set of wheels. They're the manufacturers originals, but so well refurbished that it's impossible to tell that they're not brand new 'out of the box'. Used FA Wheels twice now for a lacquered diamond cut finish, and silver painted. The quality of the work was superb in both cases. The lacquered finish was done over 2 years ago and holding up well. The service is particularly impressive- for exchange wheels, I was in and out within 30 mins. For the refurbished wheels, I dropped off on a Saturday and picked up on a Tuesday. They also stocked replacement OEM centre caps. Very professional outfit, and surprisingly good value given the quality and service.

Visited F.A.W yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by the set up they have, all the guys have their own particular job to do which they all do very well including the lady in reception who is very informative and helpful. On arrival i was parked up and asked to complete a form whilst the car was jacked up and wheels removed, the original wheels were then checked for extensive damage and buckles and i was shown the replacement wheels, at this point it was highlighted to me that my original wheels had previously been refurbished and although they looked visually ok when put against the F.A.W you could see all the imperfections and they just werent the same standard, i must stress my original wheels had no kerbing or any marks etc i just wanted a colour change. The tyres were then swapped over and refiitted and i checked them to make sure i was happy. Like much of the driving public in the UK, I've had pothole damage to my Audi A3's wheels, my local tyre shop (K1 Tyres) checked my alloys and I saw for nearly how badly buckled they were K1 recommended First Aid wheels to me. So I booked myself in with them, and I turned up quite early around half 7am as the roads were pretty clear. I was greeted to a sight of staff getting the garages and wheels ready for the day, all neat and organised and I was approached by Toby, I told him why I was there and he got the staff onto my job of straightening 3 alloys without damaging the paint, straight away before the opening time of half 8! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and also, importantly, Honest. I was also offered a drink, Gosia made a superb coffee...! They took around 2ish hours which was fine as I wanted it done while I waited. Bill was very reasonable and taking the M25 home the vibrations are All gone. After having a puncture to then subsequently finding the wheel was buckled when a replacement tyre was fitted. I was in need of finding a replacement and with all 4 wheels needing a refurb due to paint peel around the centres I started looking around for a decent solution (including the big spend of a full new set from BMW) I then found First Aid Wheels (amongst a few others I also called and received quotes from) but after speaking with Gosia and a getting a few very trusted recommendations with a chance to see their work first hand. I booked my 3series touring in for a wheel exchange. The appointment mt was made for 11am today and after the drive down from Warwickshire, I found a bustling yet highly efficiently run business. On arrival to reception to book in straight away Gosia offered me a coffee as I filled out some paper work whilst I waited. From beginning to end the staff were very open and honest there was nothing hidden (cost or mechancial) or not clearly explained or shown first hand from inspecting the wheels taken of my car explaining the defects etc to then allowing me full inspection of the newly refurbished exchange wheels prior to fitment. After a short wait (under 1hr) I was told the car was ready and wow what a difference the wheels looked like the day, I picked the car up from BMW the finish these guys achieve is perfect I probably would go as far as saying better than Factory OEM. I would not hesitate to recommend First Aid Wheels to anybody looking for a wheel refurb or full wheel exchange to replace from a cracked/buckled set! A very happy customer, great work guys & Gosia!

Superb service from initial booking through to fitting of four spotless new alloys via their wheel exchange programme. Whilst this costs a bit more than some places charge for refurbishing your own wheels, the ability to drive in, get your tyres swapped over onto the new wheels and be back on the road in around an hour or so, compared with the 3-4 days it can take to have your own wheels done, is well worth the small price premium if you can't afford to be without your car or would just prefer to get it all done in one trip. Every member of staff involved in my booking was friendly, professional and helpful, whatever customer service training they go through clearly works wonders and I can think of quite a few other companies who could learn a lot from the team here. If only they were located somewhere a little easier to get in and out of. Situated as they are in a very cramped dead-end yard, when they're busy (which based on the constant stream of customers arriving or on the phone making bookings, is probably pretty much all of the time) it can be rather tricky to get your car into, and especially back out of, their premises. But given the quality of their work, it's worth making the effort, and it's not difficult to understand why they're so busy.

I looked on Google for some other associated alloy wheel accessories and stumbled across FA Wheels. I telephoned them and spoke to Peter who was very helpful and came back promptly with a competitive price on exchange wheels and 2 new tyres. I live in Kent and although there are local places that refurb alloys the pricing and 2 hour turnaround made it worthwhile. On arrival, to beat the traffic and congestion charge I parked and went for a nice coffee and breakfast 2 mins walk away. I returned at 8am and was met by a whole bunch of the friendly team. They checked my wheels and then performed the changeover. The alloys are amazing, diamond cut as the original and have changed the look of my VW EOS. You can see the whole process before your eyes. Peter, Toby and Gosia were very friendly, helpful and professional. They even showed me around the workshops to see the processes each refurbished alloy goes through. I've had two sets of wheels exchanged at First Aid Wheels. The first was for a Mini Cooper S and I called ahead to ask if they could be resprayed to black which they were happy to do and at a reasonable charge. That was about 9 months ago and the wheels are still in perfect condition. About 2 weeks ago, I had the wheels exchanged on my girlfriends Audi A4 cab and again another perfect job. I also had new tyres I had ordered from Oponeo fitted at the same time so I saved on the fitting and balancing cost (part of the regular service is that they swap your tyres from your old alloys to the exchange alloys). If they have an exchange set of alloys in stock I think it's a great service and compares very well to the cost, inconvenience and unknown quality of a refurb service.
