I had 1 tyre changed here. Work was carried out very efficiently. I even noticed the staff using hand lever to tie nuts, which is a good practice. Just after a month I realised that all nut caps were missing on the tyre that was replaced. I phoned the store and the receptionist asked me to come to the store. I go there and staff were very helpful to retrieved all the caps.

The staff at this autocentre are friendly, helpful, and efficient. It is well located (about 20 mins gentle walk from the DLR, and close to Plumstead station). During my visit, they were very honest (no attempt to oversell any work that didn't need doing) and trustworthy, and I will definitely be coming back to this branch in the future!

I was driving towards Erith whilst enroute to a wedding in Harlow, when my left rear tyre became flat. My first thought was PANIC!!! I remembered that there was a Halfords around the corner, so I drove there to see what could be done to resolve the issue. Carl and Jon promptly removed the tyre and fixed it. I was overjoyed at how quickly and efficiently they dealt with the issue and I was able to resume my journey. The 3 other tyres were checked and confirmed to be fine too. I would like to commend Carl and Jon very highly. I would definitely recommend them and visit the team again.

had regular service and MOT. Pleased with work done and also the 'health check' report for things that will need doing soonish, and their fees for each item - very useful to spread out the work over the next 6mths or so. Headlamp aim was a 'major defects' mot fail (dont understand why it is classed like that) but they adjusted it 'out of goodwill', so I'm grateful to them for doing that work. Overall, a friendly and professional team of mechanics and would recommend them with sincerity. Cheers guys!

I’ve used this particular Halfords a few times now. On this occasion it was for an MOT. I have to say everytime i’ve visited, everyone at this garage is friendly, helpful, and professional. These people actually seem like they love their job.So refreshing! Which i do believe is testimony also to the management here. They not trying to consistently up sell to you for a quick buck. They are genuinely helpful and considerate. They are always my first choice for any work on my vehicle.

I went to Halfords autocentre Woolwich because my tyre pressure light came on whilst on my way to work. They looked at it straight away and found a very small puncture which they quickly repaired. It was sorted in about 30 minutes. They were very efficient, polite and I was extreme impressed with Dean the man in charge. I would definitely recommend this centre and I would use it again if I have any more problems.

The chap new immediately it needed to be left for an hour for a full charge and that there wasn't a leak in the system (fortunately!). I'll be honest, not the greatest customer service in the world but they got the job done. Had an MOT and a major service and all went well. No complaints there. What I would say is that I had to call the garage for them to confirm the car was ready to be picked up. Also there were a couple of members of staff who I'd say need to brush up on their customer service skills. They talk and act like they just don't want to be there as they slide your key across a desk. Would I use Halfords again? Perhaps. Yeah I guess I probably would. Anyway I'll give them a 4* for a decent overall service.

Having had issues with another local branch which appears to be down to lack of Halfords procedural training when dealing with RAC claims if anything, there were no such issues here. The whole episode of simple having a tyre changed via RAC insurance was proving to very complicated and time consuming and just wished i called this branch first. Waiting time was kept to a minimum and the manager had actively kept customers updated on any waiting time and rationale for this. In particular I was able to get questions answered in a user friendly langage by the team about their findings in he process of my car MOT and the manager arranged facilitation of reasonable requests for me to see aspects of the any areas of concern raised by the MOT. I was also bowled over when I also unexpectadly received a nice price reduction when in fact the team were so professional, thatcI felt it was they that needed a wage increase and great appreciation. This was my second visit and I had a good experience. My visit was for an MOT, which couldn't be done on the day I booked due to a failure in their gas machine. Dean couldn't have been more apologetic and fixed another convenient appointment for me. I was charged half the normal price as a goodwill gesture. Great customer service, and despite the setback, I would definitely recommend this branch, as both times I have been they've been welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable and only carried out work that was necessary!

I had a 3.10 appointment for MOT on Wednesday 20th Feb. The guy manning reception was very genuine, nice and helpful. He explained the process and that it would take up to an hour, if I wanted to wait. Was sceptical because all the bays were full, however waited and watched the mechanic whilst he worked. 40 mins later all done. During the wait I went over a few things I saw advertised with the guy on reception. He was very knowledgeable, honest and again came across genuine (AND NO HARD SELL). I also watched him meet other people and he was as genuine and kind with everyone. Also got to talk to the mechanic about a few worries mentioned by other (less scrupulous) garages about my car. He spent time with me and did not rush off or give me the impression he did not want to talk or I was bothering him. Nice person and someone I felt confident with. For the reasons above I will be using Halfords again and for my services. As customers we find so many places just view you as a cash cow and a hindrance to getting to the next customer. That places overcharge and invent issues or worse still inflate an issue. My impression and what I witnessed first hand was that this garage was not like that all. Thanks. D.

I went to the Bugsby Way centre (Charlton) by accident and was told I was at the wrong centre so they kindly informed the Woolwich branch that I making my way across. Even though I was 25mins late they guys slotted me in. Would definitely recommend.

Well this is a nicely placed Halford Service Centre not store where I ended up due to a flat battery. Went to get jump leads but on advice ended up in a Tool Kit next door which Halford staff recommended for my emergency needs. Lovely guys. Can't say the staff there wete particularly friendly. Grinch had obviously visited went back only to find my car had died again. Asked for help from the guys at Halford and got immediate help who booster started my car. Bless him n I got home safe. Plenty of free parking n buses as also a depot. The Post Office parcel pick up service is right next to the Macdonaldshere with a few other retail shops. But at least convenient as also has a drive thru Mcdonald. You do have to drive around the magic roundabout to get entrance to the stores but worth it.

Very polite and well mannered. The availability of a hot beverage whilst waiting for the work to be completed, was appreciated too.
