I called up Heavers as my car wasn’t moving and the owner was very helpful and offered to come and have a look on a Sunday which was so nice of him. He was very polite and seemed very knowledgable. He was able to get it moving for me and I’m very grateful for his time. I’d use Heavers again if I ever need work done again!

Really great local mechanic. Good prices, trustworthy, great guy and really knows his stuff! Goes out of his way to help you out…he even got a taxi to bring me back to the car because the work finished late and he know I was going on holiday the next morning. Things like this remind you why it’s so important to support local independent businesses.

Really great service offered by Heavers. I had a torn alternator belt that morning, called for a rough quote, I brought it in, and they found what broke the belt, requoted me ahead of making the fix, and installed the new tensioner and belt for a better price than the competition. Also liked how Usman and his colleague showed me what was broken on my old tensioner, both good to know, and makes you more confident in what they're doing. I asked about a timing chain fix as I thought they had to be done every 100,000 miles - and he advised me these don't normally need to be changed and how to keep it in good condition by changing the oil. My Corsa was turned around in half a day. Left feeling like they're a really honest bunch of mechanics, with great value and service! Highly recommend them

Brilliant garage run by a genuine, honest and reliable mechanic. Provided such a fast service both with my MOT and diagnosing my car issues after a non-start. I rang this company yesterday as my fuel cap wasn’t opening and had literally no fuel in the car I was going away for the weekend so only had Monday morning to sort it. The man asked me to leave the car at my friends house and fixed the cap after he had finished working himself which was about 9pm. Such amazing service and such a kind person. Thank you so much for your help, he was nothing but professional throughout.

I went there after issues with my Mini. I had 'service' somewhere else a few months ago and obviously nothing was done. Rob and Ozi were brilliant and my car already drives and sounds a lot better, they explained everything and gave me a breakdown of what was done. Definitely recommend and will go back there myself.

Good local garage - don't be put off by how small it is. They did good work repairing my bumper after a minor scrape. Then after another garage failed my car MOT on front brake discs and pads I took it here and they quoted £100 less and also advised me the other garage had totally conned me and my brakes had at least another 2 years wear given my low mileage. I'm not an expert but I trust them to give honest advice and fair prices.

Excellent service for a very good price!!! Extremely helpful garage. I called at 5pm Thursday night and they took the car in immediately. The insurance had written off my car. Heaver Garage even rescue dead cars. They did a brilliant job. The car was ready by Saturday afternoon.

After my car broke down, and the insurance company were going to charge me 90£ to come take a look, the guys at Heaver motors came straight out. They then followed up with a call later that evening to make sure it was still working well. I took it for a service there a few days later and they sourced parts at a really good price and stayed open later so I could pick up my car after work. I will be booking in my MOT with them later this month. Really helpful and friendly, highly recommend.

I’m so, so pleased I came across this garage! The blower fan heater stopped working in our car at the same time we needed to sell it. I had people coming to view the car today and had it booked into another nearby garage to get it fixed yesterday however when they called me to say it was going to cost over £500 to fix (not including VAT!), I quickly called around all the other garages in the local area to get a second opinion. When I called Heavers the man couldn’t believe how much I had been quoted and said to drive the car round so he could take a look and assured me he wouldn’t charge to tell me his opinion on what the issue was. I was a bit nervous about how much it was going to end up costing as the previous garage told me I needed a new fan motor, resistor, plus work on the electrics. Heavers looked at it and said the motor and resistor were absolutely fine but there was an issue with the electrics. I just picked the car up and he only charged me £150 all in despite spending hours working on it, which has saved me at least £500! I cannot recommend this man highly enough. I’m so pleased there are still some honourable people around who don’t try to rip you off because they know you won’t know any different. Don’t hesitate to give him a call, you won’t be disappointed.

I've got an LDV Maxus that most mechanics either run a mile or quote ridiculous rates as, even though it isn't a bad van, it's not the easiest to get parts for or fix when needed. However, I couldn't be happier with the guys here as they literally did everything in their powers to get me up and running. Would like to thank them once again for an efficient and affordable service.
