After my car developed a battery drain issue and several trips to BMW dealer and other independent specialists who kept advising changing the battery and sensor again (despite having done so already and wasted hundreds £), I have lost all hope and was referred by a friend to give Highams Park Motor one last shot. It was the best decision I have made. From the initial drop-off to the call with Stuart for the diagnostic, I have never met any mechanic who asks as many questions as they do trying to understand what has truly gone wrong. They take their time to patiently listen and dug deep into fault diagnostic beyond what the computer scanner says. For those customers like me who have experienced the usual mechanic gibberish..... cut you off while you are trying to explain and say yea yea yea don't worry we will find the problem and ended up giving you what it simply says on the scanner without using their brains, Highams Park Motor does the exact opposite and is truly a breath of fresh air. The professionalism and patience Stuart has can simply not be found in other garages. At the end, my issue turns out only to be a loose wire and Stuart charged me for the diagnostic plus half an hour of labour, that's it! The car is now driving normally again. While I have not done any other works with Highams Park Motor, I would be a returning customer for any future needs. Highly recommended!

They have more knowledge than the main dealers. Very professional. On the pricey side but worth every penny. Better to go here on the first instance rather than waste money going to others and still having the problem. For example wasted money on trying to get a gearbox problem sorted. Even BMW said the gear box needs to be replaced. Took it here, sorted within half a day and they called me once they sourced the fault, explained the costs involved before they started to fix it so no unexpected expenses when you go to collect the car. Highly recommended!

Have taken my cars to these guys for years and have always had a great experience. While they’re German car specialists, I have also taken Fords, Hondas and other marques, all of which they worked on professionally - pointing out potential issues where necessary and fixing stuff that was more pressing. Excellent service found out what the problem was with my BMW I left it with them for two days so they could do a full diagnostic on it and they found the problem that TBH I don't think anyone else would have, these people know there BMW''s and are helpful and explained things in a to you in a understandable manner not garage gobbledegook lol, will definitely use them again and very reasonable prices too.

Honest, helpful and straightforward advice. This was my first experience servicing my car here after a recommendation and they did what they said they would do. They called to advise of additional work required, checking whether or not to go ahead and quoted a price. The only downside (which is not their fault) is that the main road where the garage is located is chockablock all the time, so you can't always park immediately outside the garage. It's not the end of the world though!

I had a broken crank pulley and I called these guys. They booked me in very promptly and not only did they do an amazing job but also their final invoice was £50 cheaper than what was quoted (since they were able to re-use one of the existing belts). Agreeing with one of the previous reviews - Very honest guys! They are not too local to me, but if I were to have a 'local mechanic' then it'd be these guys.

I chose to go to these Chaps to get my car's oil-cooler unit replaced because, they were not only the most friendly and helpful and BEST PRICE LOCALLY, but also seemed to understand the issue with my car better than any other local garage I called. Very happy with the prompt and professional service when getting my brake fluid changed today. They let me know what needs doing to the car in the near furutre but....didnt try to get me to do it there and then! Actually called these guys up when I first bought my car from a dealer as the gearbox was messed up! Advised me to take it strait back to the dealer but to come back for anything else once I had taken care of that little problem! Will definitely be using them again! Other garages take note....this is how you build and keep your customer base!
