Hornsey Automatics were amazing! They helped me not only with my gearbox issue, but also spotted a dangerous fault within my engine and fixed that for me too. Speedy and pleasant service! Highly recommend these guys for any of your automatic gearbox needs!!

Its very rare you get such good and honest service from a garage as you do here. Thorough diagnostics and for any auto issues I can't recommend highly enough, as a specialist firm you can be assured to get the right advice and you don't need to go to a dealership for quality repairs. Rapid and reasonably priced extremely helpful. If they did all types of repair would return again for all work. (ecu replaced and gearbox serviced) many thanks Pete

These guys are amazing! I have been a customer for several years, and I would never trust anyone else to work on my transmissions. They offer service and advice that is always honest and professional, and they always work to the customer's best interests. When it comes to the quality of their work, it is truly the best I have come across - the prices are also highly competitive, even though they could justifiably charge double and would probably not lose a single customer (hope they don't read this!). John & Chris are a great team, they are always welcoming, and what these guys don't know about automatic transmissions, nobody knows. Best of all, when they have dealt with a problem on your car, you know you will never have to revisit that issue again. They only deal with transmission work, but because they specialise in this one area, you know you're not going to be sold any other work along the way. Highly recommended!

Unbelievable excellent. John the owner spotted the problem with my car immediately as he entered. A big car dealer whom has done a diagnostic test on my car got it wrong, even though the car was a product of theirs, they gave me wrong information, encouraging me to get rid of the car and purchase another one from their range. Unbelievable, even my regular garage agreed with this car dealer, but Hornsey Automatics proved them wrong, whats interested is, although they don't specialise in the problem I was experiencing with my car, they still accepted the job out of politeness and just to confirm the problem and suggestion. I am so overwhelm for their help. Whats also impressive, they welcome feedback, so they can be more efficient. Please, please, let my experience be an example of your trust in these people, they are true mechanics that care about your car and not your wallet. Be patient and trust them.

An honest highly skilled, helpful and friendly independent garage. They fixed a friends auto-gearbox that around a dozen other gearbox specialists couldn't. My excellent local garage for whom the work was too specialist a job, refered me to them. They don't have a lot of space for whole cars so my garage removed the gearbox for them to work then refitted it. Delighted to be back on the road. Highly recommended.

Can’t thank Chris & John enough. Took my Porsche in to get checked out after being told by the main dealer that there may be a problem.
