George and his team are fighting a shortage of staff like the rest of London so take the -ve reviews with a pinch of salt. There is a lot of knowledge and experience at the top, competitive prices plus the insurance product. All to be recommended. So, give yourself a bit more time and relax in the waiting room ( try to ignore the rattly heater) - worth an extra few mins!

I went to Kwik fit old Kent Road Saturday, I was booked in to have my 4 tyres changed on my Seat cupra r, I dealt with a young man Name was Gonzo, and the team was very professional down there. was very happy with his customer service I would deal with them again as I walked away very happy

I would just like to thank Van @ Old Kent Road branch who discovered the massive nail stuck in my front tyre he took the time to go around my vehicle and check the pressure on each tyre just to diagnose which one kept bringing up the tyre pressure warning light He then removed the tyre and used a soap solution which would create bubbles. Make sure it’s done this way not the spray bottle method it’s useless believe me as I was there a few weeks earlier and was advised it may be the sensors🤔 anywhhhhho He removed a massive nail from my tyre I’ve kept it as a trophy. Altogether wonderful experience learned a few things. Oh and in my opinion I think the manager needs front of house help as he looks like he would prefer to work on cars then do administrative duties. Let me know if there’s a job going I’m relatively cheap £15 per hour one hour lunch break per day. KF60-6087664 Feedback

I went into Kwik Fit today to check my tire pressure as the warning light came up on my car. When I arrived I was greeted by a member of staff, I think his name was George. after putting air into my tires, he checked my tires and informed me that I needed to replace my front two tries as they have excessively worn tread. I will be going back soon to get my tires replaced there. The customer service I received today was excellent and I will be telling my friends and family to go to this particular Kwik Fit. As a woman on my own, I thought there was something seriously wrong with my exhaust - but it was something minor which they fixed for me on the spot and also pumped my tyres up. They could have easily led me to believe it was something major. Very trustworthy, I would definitely go back.

Great customer service. I was having tyres changed on a Saturday morning. While waiting I saw people were turning up late for their appointments & even though they were late Kevin did his best to fit them in (the customer didn’t even say thank you. So rude!) Everyone seemed upbeat & friendly & really tried to help everyone that turned up. Abdul did a great job fitting new tyres.

As ever Kwik Fit came up trumps for us. Firstly, at the weekend they checked our granddaughter's car for her as she had been experiencing problems. They reassured her she could drive home to Uxbridge and arranged for her to have it checked to in her local Kwik Fit. Today a warning light came up on our dashboard suggesting we had a problem with one of the tires. Again, checked out all the tires were ok, googled how to re-set the warning light and ensured all was good. Thank you Kevin for you customer care. We will be back

Went to them twice for A/C recharge and then new break pads/discs, and four new tyres. Price paid ended up being £10 less than quoted which is always a touch. The work was finished on time on both visits. The three gentlemen I dealt with were polite and friendly and took the time to explain things. Strongly recommended this garage and will be driving to them next time I have an issue with the car.

Been here many times over the years and never a problem, my daughter had a slow puncture recently and I recommended she go here. She was happy to only need a puncture repair which was a lot cheaper than a new tyre which she could’ve been offered elsewhere 👍

I had my car towed today as I hit the curb with my wheel and my tyre was flat. My car does not have a spare tyre and I could not fill the tyre with foam or air because the valve was damaged. It wasn't clear if the tyre was damaged as well. George and his team looked at my car straight away and reported it was only the valve. Replaced it and I was on my way. The staff and the service was excellent.

After an initially very unfriendly welcome from one member of the team, who had no interest in helping and lacked any customer service skills, Nabil kindly asked if I needed a hand. I had already been waiting 20+ minutes to be served, but Nabil promptly took my keys and the car straight into the garage. He set about checking our tyres and finding the issue straight away. He was really helpful and gave plenty of information and updates which was great as we are first time car owners, as of 2 days ago. I would have given a 5 star rating as booking the service was very easy as well as the price. The biggest issue is that when my MOT was carried out on my BMW the on board computer was not reset to the next MOT date, my car now constantly shows the service due notification. This should be made clear to people when booking there cars in as most modern cars have this function. I have not had this issue when taking my car to other MOT centers in the past.

What I like about this Kwik Fit, is that I feel they do a decent job. As the prices are all in black and white, there is less risk of being over charged. I have had my wheels fitted and perhaps by a junior as air kept leaking out, I was told the wrong valve was inserted. So not exactly a good use of time. There are no booking on Sunday. Only 2 people work on Sunday so it is first come, first serve.

I've been coming down here for several years. While part of a big chain the guys here are decent mechanics and do a good job on any car. I've had a few tyres from here. What can you say, they do the job. Service is good. You can book in online, or by phone. Best to call ahead as they do get busy. Expect to wait a bit, but not too long. The waiting area is warm, with minimal seating, well spread out for Covid regulations. Best is the guys appreciate many people run on a low budget, and are about getting you back on the road, not about selling you the most expensive tyres.

Initially a bit doubtful about coming to Kwit Fit as there are many comments mentioning that they recommend some reparations where is not needed, and also from the BBC review about this issue. But I decided to give it a go!. The service was Ok, the only inconvenience was that my appointment was at 3:45 pm and my car went into service at 4:35 pm. Delay with no explanation or apologies for it. 4 stars just for not approaching the customer and explain any delay. I can give 5 stars for the service to the vehicle. I will do my MOT there again

Kwik Fit Old Kent Road MOT booked for 12.00 on 21/6/2018 My car needed its MOT but my usual East Dulwich Kwit Fit had no appointments available. Old Kent road had slots but checking reviews on google their service was not reviewed well. As my MOT was due I decided to take a chance on this branch. On arriving at reception I was greated by a friendly chap (since discovered he is called Jamie and is the supervisor today) who offered me a seat as I said I would be waiting on site. After about 30mins the mechanic testing my car asked me to view it in the service bay. He showed me a cracked rear spring coil that would need replacing for car to pass its MOT. It was refreshing to actually see the damaged coil - no garage has done this before and it was reassuring. I was quoted a price of £160 so long as the bracket holding the coil in place did not break when they dismantled. I quickly checked on the internet and found it seemed a fair price so I gave the go ahead. As this was not my local branch I said I would have to wait for the work to be done. Again I was shown a seat in reception and offered their free coffee/tea machine - a great service but unfortunately the milk had run out! Sitting in reception I was able to watch the comings and goings through the afternoon. I was impressed by what I saw. All the staff demonstrated excellent personal skills when dealing with clients either in person or over the phone. Yes sir, it’s not a problem, how can I help ? were the many exchanges I heard and all dealt with a smile. There was a mix of clients - some prebooked MOT’s, services, regassing air con and tyres and also clients who arrived unannounced. Everyone was dealt with in a friendly, polite and caring manner and left happy with the service they had received. Even a young chap who arrived with his CV looking for a job was treated with respect and the staff took time to talk with him. My overall impression of this branch was of a very friendly and knowledgable team working together to offer an excellent customer service, which is rare to find these days ! Towards the end of the day I was again asked to inspect my car. The mechanics showed me the problem they were having. The spring coil had been removed but the bolts on the arm that holds it in place had fused and were not budging. Now I know why I heard so much banging coming from the service bay ! I was told due to this that my car would not be ready to take before closing for the day. Jamie the supervisor immediately said sorry and offered to book me a cab home at Kwik Fits expense and said he would book another to collect me the next day when the work was completed. My mechanic was very apologetic and even offered to work late to try to resolve the problem. Even though I was unable to drive my car home I was very impressed with the service I received and with everything I witnessed while waiting in reception. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely return. I am pleased I took a gamble on this branch despite the poor ratings it had on google. From all that I witnessed I cannot understand why theiir reviews were bad - maybe people only write them when they are unhappy instead of praising good service when it’s received. NOTE FOR HEAD OFFICE ! Your team at Old Kent Road are brilliant. The service I witnessed was beyond compare. They deserve a big slap on the back for their friendly, polite and caring manner. I hope you will acknowledge this to them.

Today (20/02/16) I visited the Kwik Fit garage on the Old Kent Road due to my tyre be slashed. I am a mobility customers and this team couldn't have tried any harder to make me feel welcomed. I was there for 4 hours (which was NOT their problem at all) but they kept me informed and tried their hardest to get things done as quick as possible, this including them paying £35 for a taxi to go to another garage to get the tyre for my car. I've never received customer service like Dominic and his team gave. I am so happy with how they handled my problem and it was the only thing that made my day seem okay! Thank you all.
