We are so glad to have found Munster tyres, and shall always come here in future even though we live in Little Venice. Having gone to a number of other garages over the last few days and been told that our smashed bumper would cost more to repair than the car was worth (around £1200,, and even so that we would have to wait until the garage had time to take it in, we were amazed and delighted to find Denis of Munster Tyres who said they could fix it for us right then and there in an hour for under £100. He would do us a quotation for a more top class job in case we were not happy with the immediate result. We returned an hour later to find the car looking good, and completely road worthy. Denis is a dream - good natured, friendly, sensitive to our needs, and super efficient. The engineers at other garages we found arrogant, cold and dismissive.

I came to this shop not knowing anything about them, ofcourse they were recommended to me by a stranger who helped me put on my spare tyre as the original one was flat and couldn’t drive on the road. I got to Munster road, I honestly don’t know much about cars. Only thing I know is how to drive it. Munster tyres are reliable, honest, caring and amazing at explaining things. I am definitely going to make them my preferred repair shop as I felt I’ve never been treated by any other repair shops like I have with them. The gentleman who I paid even noticed I gave too much and handed me back my money, in my experience nobody gives money back even if it was too much but these guys did. I am really grateful, and happy with them. I didn’t make an appointment and my tyre was fixed within 30mins. They even checked the other three tyres for me. I am amazed. Thank you guys for your hard work. Any problems I have with my car. The first people I’m going to see is MUNSTER TYRES.

I read your reviews, mainly good but some not, I brought my car into your garage and the time specified for my work was two hours. I waited outside, while the work was being done and to see for myself how this garage performed. You were very, very busy and constantly having cars pulling up, but still the manager and the staff were so friendly and polite and tried to help every customer as quick as possible and always with a smile. My car was finished in 1:40 minutes, 20 minutes ahead of schedule, and at the agreed price. I highly recommend this garage.

I used Munster Tyres for the third time today. The first two times were for new tyres for previous cars and I had been happy with the price and service. Today I needed an emergency puncture repair on a wet and cold Saturday afternoon. They were busy when I arrived (which I always take as a good sign!) but suggested I could wait and before too long my tyre was repaired efficiently and for a very reasonable 28 pounds! I trust them and will continue to use them.

I’ve taken my car to Munster tires a few times for services and tires, and they’ve always been fast, fair and decent quality. On my last visit they went above and beyond. I had a flat tire on a weekday morning, and was running late for work. I limped around to muster tires 30mins before they opened, the guys were still setting up but got me in straight away, sorted my tire within 10mins and sent me on my way. Amazing service.

Took my car here after being let down by another garage. I ordered some tyres off the net to have them fitted (wanted a specific brand/type) and the garage that was supposed to fit them decided to close before I got there despite telling me to turn up at a specific time. I went to kwik fit only for them to refuse to fit them due to company policy but thankfully they recommended Munster tyres. Turned up 5 mins before closing with my car looking rather sorry for itself on the spacesaver jobby. These guys fitted the tyre (incl. balancing) despite it being a Friday evening. I didn't call in advance as I had no other options so just hoped they would recognise a stressed guy struggling to find someone to just fit a tyre without making a big deal out of it. They saved my day! Will return if/when my tyres need replacing. Thank you!

Since the beginning of January I have had endless problems with my mini, flat tyre, flat battery, urgent servicing, MOT and body work. The service I have received to fix all these problems has been exemplary. I brought my Peugeot 206 to your garage. I had like a grinding noise from the front of the car, you were very very busy, but still managed to send your mechanic out for a test drive. He came back, put the car up in the air and discovered that the problem was the front brakes, they where completely gone. In the same afternoon you fitted front brakes and the job was finished. WOW what a great job. Thank you so much guys.

This is very much a family run business, and the service is excellent. I have been a customer of theirs for the past seven years. I have just had a new set of Michlin tyres fitted, (the last set have lasted me since 2006) and they did it in under an hour, while I went to the market. I love these guys, they are always cheerful and never seem to get flustered. They check my tyre pressures for me every month. I couldn't recommend them more.

I had seen such bad reviews for this place that I was certain I had made a huge mistake. Far from it. I will happily use them again. Service: the manager was extremely personable and helpful on the phone. He understood my budget and requirements and came up with what turned out to be an unbeatable recommendation. I said I wanted budget tyres and he stuck to that and didn't try to upsell me. Munster also managed to source 19" winter tyres within 5 days in line with their promise. I was treated politely at the fitting centre and I have no complaints whatsoever about courtesy or any other matter. Product: I had to ferry a SAAB 9-5 AERO back to Eastern Europe and needed winter tyres. They recommended a set of WanLi budget radials. I was sceptical about this given the mixed reviews for this tyre and the fact that we were fitting them to a performance saloon. In any event, the WanLis have coped with a drive through almost eight hours of steady snowfall from Holland to southern Austria. There was no sliding around the road and no part of the journey where I had to slow down because I felt unsafe as a result of the tyres. At this early stage of wear, I would put the WanLi product (S 1068) on a par with my preferred mid-range Altimax winter radials. In summary, Munster Tyres gave me friendly service and a great product. I also have a usable set of tyres until I can sort out the rims and winter tyres that I want from the wider selection I have abroad. The only thing that would stop me using Munster Tyres is the fact that I am more City than West London. They can hardly be blamed for that.

I cannot speak for others however, I have used this garage twice now in the space of six month and I found the service and staff to be top notch - some, more refined characters, may find the staff a bit "rough and ready" perhaps but, at the end of the day, what would you rather have - a polite cretin or a straight-talking professional? Needed 3 tyres replaced on my VW Polo, was really wary as I had bad experience with another garage in the area. Munster Tyres were really straight forward - it was a Saturday and they saw to my car immediately and gave me an excellent price. Better still I had a long list of really pricey problems that had been flagged by a VW dealership, Munster gave my car a once over and provided honest opinions about how urgent things were (VW said everything was urgent) and quoted fair prices for the work. So pleased I have found this garage, its a weight off my shoulders.

I'm totally confused as to the negative reviews of Munster Tyres. I took my Porsche Cayman there because I needed new rear tyres an MOT done, and wheel tracking/alignment. * They charged me less for supplying and fitting the tyres than anyone else I called (and my tyres are very difficult to find) * There was no funny business as some others have insinuated on the MOT. It passed 100%. * The wheel alignment and tracking, which was really off (which is why I had to change my rears, due to uneven wear) TOTALLY transformed the way the car drives. And again the price for that service was something like £200 less than what Porsche charge. It seems as if some customers expect Munster Tyres to perform magic, and not charge for the work that they do. Many tyre places charge all in costs for supplying, fitting and balancing a tyre. Munster have decided that they want to be 100% transparent by telling you how much every stage costs individually and give you the choice as to what you want done.....and yet customers complain when they are charged for balancing. Munster tyres at least give you the option to balance or not, thus the opportunity for you to save some money. The work was done exactly in the time frame done, and perfectly as far as I can tell. Will I be going back? Absolutely Yes.
