Ray was very knowledgeable and explained any problems he found. You feel like you can ask Ray any questions. Ray looked at the car as soon as I turned up which was very refreshing. I actually thought I had a major and expensive engine problem but Ray quickly diagnosed the simple issue and just charged me for labour. Very reasonable charges and I will return to Ray for my MOT in August!

Highly recommendable, there's probably not much that this mechanic cannot fix when it comes to cars. I came across this garage RMS in Deptford of London by chance, as my car had something that my regular MOT garage can't tend to and someone recommended him for repairs, and I found Ray to be truly a very high quality mechanic with expertise and knowledge in different areas of vehicle repairs. Since then, I have visited here on a number of occasions over the past few years for 3 different vehicles, and every time, the result has been second to none, very satisfied. Also, unlike a lot of other places, Ray knows American and specialist vehicles as well as standard types more commonly found in the UK, so he was able to get the issues sorted on my US-import LHD car.

My car developed a knocking noise so I found RMS on good and decided to take a chance going local and independent. I'm really glad I did. Dropped off on Wednesday morning and fixed the next day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED MECHANIC I was recommended to Ray as I was having some issues with my 1998 Camaro that my normal mechanic didn't want to bother to fix. Ray went out of his way to help me and totally nailed it. 2 days later car was fixed and he also got the car valeted (I asked if knew anyone). Then came time for the bill with the amount of things that needed sorting, I thought I may have mini heart attack, yet again Ray pulled it out of the bag and it was a fair price for the work. I left feeling happy with the transaction and the car was driving like it was new. Ray could have taken me to town on the bill but he didn't, as some of the parts where hard to find and some of the problems just needed his knowledge to fix. Overall Ray is a top guy, genuine, helpful, a great mechanic that’s is passionate about cars and is customers. As long as I live in the area Ray will be my go-to guy. Lewis

Best garage ever! The people there are incredible. I broke down on a Sunday, luckily just down the road from them, they looked at my car straight away. They were so thorough and found the problem. They went above and beyond and even worked past their closing hours to make sure I could take my car and get home that day. Their kindness and care were overwhelming and I think they are superheroes as they saved me when I was in a tricky spot far away from home. They even didn't want to take my money, but I insisted. Had a problem with my clutch and the dealer and other well known garages was charging me out of the world prices !!!!! Well out off my budget. I found rms garage on Google and gave them a ring and see on the off chance to see if they was cheaper. Spoke to a very nice gentleman called raymond, whom was very polite and very knowledgeable on what he was talking about. The price was a lot cheaper and with quility parts in which raymond showed me. My car was not driveable, raymond collected my car in the morning and dropped it back to my home the same day. I very impressed buy the way raymond handled my service needs. Very professional, very quick work turn over and very fair priced. I will most diffently will be returning in future for any other car problems and will be highly recommended raymond to all my friends and family. Thank you so much again raymond

before I went to RMS I was always worried when I had a problem with my car am I going to be over charged or the machanics telling me the truth for example I had a issue with my ford which was a TDi it started running roughy and slowly noticed the turbo wasn't kicking in so not far from RMS is a other motor work shop I went there and he start blabbering on about this that and what ever he could say to confuse me then said the turbos had it , it needs to be changed cost £600 I was shocked the car it's self only worth around £800 so I'm like on my mind do I get a new car or what CONFUSED did not know what to do everything I was thinking had a big cost Then I came across RMS and I just thought let me get someone else to have a look I turned up in the morning and no lie he opened the bonnet he ran his hand in and around the back area of the engine then said yep I know what it is a bracket that was holding one of the intakes to the turbo had lowly wore it down to creat a hole on the underneath of the pipe that stoped the turbo from working amazing I couldn't believe it a new pipe £8.50 and £20.00 labour a god sent I wouldn't go any were else and I recommend RMS to anyone how has a problem with there motor Rayknow his stuff 5stars and more
