I've been using Shiv for over 12 years now - they've always done a great job servicing and repairing my (really) not-so-great cars. My car had problems with the injector and I called few workshops around the area and checked their Google reviews. This one stood out as they had more reviews than most and mostly satisfied customers. Decided to bring my car to them. Karan (owner) had a look and said he will get this done the same day as it wasn’t a long job. Left my car and after few hours, got the call and brought it back. Problem solved. I am taking my car to them next for service. Definitely recommend them. His dad was also there, helping out. Felt like a nice, family run business that you don’t see that much anymore.

Always a great service honest don't try and fool you for the price seems to always beat the price I used to pay and allow for installation of your own parts unlike some garages. I can't recommend them enough if you want quick and good standard work shiv is the place to go.

Have been taking my car to the guys at Shiv for the last few years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Really lovely place, they take the time to explain any things that need doing, are always very reasonably priced and get the work done quickly and well. On time I took my car in with a nasty thudding noise every time I went around corners, the guys at Shiv took about 4 hours checking everything in the car before returning it to me with the noise gone but refusing to take any payment fixing the problem. Thought it was a bit odd until I got home and realised they'd found a full bottle of Coca-Cola in the boot which was rolling about. They could've had a good giggle at my expense but decided not to, just told me they'd 'fixed the issue, no charge'. Top blokes, use them with total confidence. Also, check your boot for loose bottles of soft drink.

I recently had an MOT and some repairs done on my car here. I have lived in the Walthamstow Village area for 10 years and I wish I had come here earlier! Compared to other local reputable garages I've used they are very polite, friendly and professional and were able to accommodate a good time to do the work on my car in the same week. They also charged a very reasonable amount that wasn't over inflated! I will defiantly keep coming back. If you value a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service then I would definitely come here! Thanks Guys! ... Just been back for my second MOT, cam belt change and repairs. All great, thank you so much, very polite, professional and straight forward. They also did the work straight away!
