Great service from the moment I walked in. Rita at the reception is very knowledgeable and helpful. I needed my tyre changed and within 1 hour I had my car back. Thank you Assaad for your great work and service. I highly recommend this place.

Had a nail in my tyre. Went to a couple of local garages to ask for the tyre to be repaired and was told by both that (A) the tyre can't be repaired and (B) I would have to pay £230+ for a new tyre and fitting (charging £100+ for fitting, and one put the price up because of the car model which is ridiculous). When I walked into Speedway Autos and showed the photo to the boss he immediately and unequivocally said it's fixable for less than £20. I brought the car in straight away as I live close by and the tyre was done in ten minutes. It might sound like a tiny thing, but I think this is the kind of honesty and straight talk that shows they have a respect for customers, potential customers, the trade, and their own reputation. I also took a wander around the workshops and they're very clean and tidy with some nice vehicles in for repairs. I will certainly be coming back here for work to be done in the future.

Outstanding car garage. Mr Assad helped to fix our car that was quite damaged - front axle was fully messed up. Service was brilliant with reasonable prices and you felt that your car was valued and taken care of. Speed of the fix was great, in less than 24 hours the car was mechanically fixed and he even made sure that the tracking of the wheels was all sorted. Highly recommend this garage and will be using it again if needs be!

I am satisfied with the service i was given here. I changed my rear exhaust box here as it was making an awful rattling sound. I was given a quotation on the spot and it was ready the next morning. An invoice was emailed to me and a physical copy was also handed to me. They also fixed my bent number plate for free which was a very nice gesture. I am extremely pleased I have found this garage. My car had a failed MOT and a very large quote from another garage. I rang speedway garage, was quoted a much more reasonable price, and also next day delivery. In the end, all the work quoted for, and a couple of hours more, was completed, for the price quoted. I am so happy with the service I received in this garage. Professionalism and friendly staff is something you really find here. They said "if you in rush, give the job to the busy man. He will make it done". I came after work and I was surprised the garage was still open at 19:30. The owner was super helpful and saved me from a disaster. My car battery was totally flat. Wonderful service from Assad and his lovely team. My driver side door and trim was quite damaged by a renegade pillar and Assad did a great job perfectly repairing it - you could never tell it was bashed in! I usually rely on my brother and his friends who work with cars to fix my car but my brother was busy so I had to find a garage alone and didn’t have much experience with garages, I didn’t want to get ripped off so I was quite nervous! Assad gave me the best price and he did an amazing job with my car, I was so happy with it, he fixed the damage that needed to be fixed and he even done additional work by polishing other old scratches that I told him about, my car number plate was coming off, he stuck it for me too. We took our Mini in at short notice at 08.30 a.m. yesterday. We had a completely flat tyre. They were able to fix immediately. I also mentioned that there was a loud rattle when driving the car. They offered to give it a spin around the block at no diagnostic charge (a lot of garages would charge a diagnostic, whether or not they fixed it). By 09.30 the car was fixed - the tyre good as new and the rattle (exhaust and fan that were loose) fixed. The price was terrific. I had great confidence in the team and total trust in their pricing. I would recommend them very highly. Not just professional, honest and well-priced, but very friendly too - and I had our two year old boy with me the whole time. He was fascinated by everything and everyone was very friendly to him. Thank you, all at Speedway Autos! (Oh, and we were a first time customer - just as we arrived a lady was doing the paperwork for her car that had been repaired and she said I should definitely use them as she said he was the best. She was right!)

All the staff are all very welcoming, courteous and friendly. The assessment on what was wrong with my car was done on the day and I was given a price. Assad explains everything to you and doesn't treat you like an idiot - he is very skilled. The work was carried out on the day as agreed, I was informed when it was completed. I paid the agreed price and surprisingly the cost did not go up and another problem was not found with the car. This is great because you feel that you can trust the mechanics and the assessment. When I asked for another minor thing to be done - the fuse for the cigarette lighter - Assad did it then and there. Oh! and the car was cleaned too! The owner (Assadd) is technically very good but also very fair when it comes to explaining what work needs to be done. It was about 6:30 in the evening and we broke down outside Speedway Autos. The guys come running out asking if everything was ok. They done everything possible to help, offered us tea & biscuits, talked to us, kept us warm (-1 outside) in the office, brought the car in and done all the right checks around the car. They fixed the car in really good time so that I could use it for work the next day and at a really good price! even offered to deliver the car to us, but we lived close so it wasn't needed. It's great to know we have such a great bodyshop near us if anything needs fixing, it's peace of mind.

Big thank you to Assaad (the owner) and his team for their help with my car this weekend. I called in to Speedway Autos after discovering my car had a flat battery - Assaad kindly gave me a lift home in the recovery vehicle, used his special kit to start my car (first time) and checked my car out at the garage (for no charge). Impressed by his kindness, efficiency and expertise, I booked my car in for its MOT on Monday, picked it up on Tuesday (but it was ready the same day) and they thoroughly checked the battery to make sure I wouldn't have any issues going forwards. Just want to say I completely agree with last post. I've been looking for years to find a guy like Assad. Proper qualified mechanic, honest, pleasant, respectful...and just round the corner for me.
