It was our first visit but consider us regulars! Tony is a lovely guy and did everything he could to try to accommodate us and our issue with the car. I really appreciated the way he kept in touch during the repairs and he paid a lot of attention to detail. Tony is the only person I’ll be going to! He’s so knowledgeable and friendly, he’s considerate of his clients and takes the time to properly explain to you and show you what needs to be done so you know exactly what to expect. The value for money doesn’t even need to be expressed he’s a man of his word, I find Tony to be fair and reasonable. The friendly and funny approach he has makes you feel as though you can always ask questions and that he is contactable for anything you can need. My car is running smoother than when I first got it, hands down the best person around for the job as always 🙂

My family has taken cars to Tony since he moved into Cressida Road. My late father took his car to him from day one back in the mid 1980s That car is still around a testament to Tony`s attention to detail when working on it which played a large part in its survival. Tony is ( as has been proved many times before) an all round mechanic and is as happy with a welding torch in his hand as he is with an all sing and dancing fault on a cars computer he has an ability to diagnose faults very quickly due to his many years in the industry. The village garage fixes car up to standard and not down to a price. Everyone is entitled to retire but it will be a sad when Tony hangs up his spanners for the last time. Hopefully many years into the future.

I have lived in this area for a long time, used other garages and main dealers locally and never have I come across a mechanic (Tony) who is as efficient and precise, who is meticulous and can assess your vehicle so quickly for what the problem is, so quick, there is no doubt he is a master mechanic, sorted out engine, head gasket and reset the cars computer, all at an exceptional price. Tony did a great job on my i3, where others (including BMW) had either failed or were going to take a long time and cost a bomb. Because of a nail in one of the tyres, a wheel locking nut that had been "gorilla'd on" and KwikFit having irreparably damaged the key - which BWM couldn't get a replacement for - I needed the whole set of nuts changed. Tony quickly sorted it all out, with no need for the specialist diamond cutter service other places were telling me I needed. What a diamond!
