This is the second review I have left for AJ Autos but I feel its only right. My Mercedes ML250 kept going into limp mode. It was getting worse. Andy diagnosed the issue very quickly to the intake manifold. It was an enormous undertaking with a strip down of 5 hours suggested just to remove the worn out part. Using all genuine mercedes parts, Andy not only fixed the car but cleaned out the DPF, all the other parts associated with the intake manifold fault sent me pictures along the way to demonstrate just how bad other parts were with a choice of replacement. He also fully serviced the car and finished way beyond the time he needed the car. The service, communication and saving on the repair for parts and labour compared to other garages was just staggering! Thak you so much Andy! My car drives and feels like new once again! Highly recommend 10 stars!

I previously used AJ Autos last year for my wife's car when her DPF needed cleaning . Back in June one of our commercial vehicles was having issues with the 'anti-pollution system'. I took to a garage to repair and it appeared they resolved the issue. A few weeks back the same issue occured, so I decided to contact Andy at AJ Autos and he was very helpful and arranged a prompt repair of the vehicle. Whilst he had the vehicle he kept me updated and let me know about a couple of issues he found. He sent photos of what needed doing, he changed the oil and filter and performed a DPF clean. Any DPF problems go and see Andy. After seeing the review for his repair on a previous Honda Accord I took mine in after being told a new DPF was needed. Car was fixed within the day and running like new. Andy explained where the faults had been, showed me the work carried out and the results before and after which no other garage had done. Andy even dropped me off and picked me up from work which for me is outstanding. DPF fixed & clear, car serviced and car running like new for a 1/3 of the price of the quoted DPF change! Andys got a new customer in me and I will be recommending him to friends and family

So I broke down in my 6.5 tonne truck yesterday in Leyland on my way to pick up supplies for my business, phoned Andy to see if he could help diagnose why it had ground to a halt. Within the hour he was with me and trying to sort out the issue which turned out to be a completely blocked DPF so no exhaust gases could get out of the exhaust. Unable to fix at the roadside Andy arranged to have it recovered to his unit and set to work doing a full dpf clean, infant it was that bad that it needed 2 !! 7.30pm and the truck was back on the road and more powerful than ever !!! It must have been already partly blocked when I bought it a year ago ! Can’t recommend AJ Autos enough and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family 👍 Many thanks Andy see you for a service ASAP !

I took my car to Andy after reading the reviews of other customers with DPF issues and how these were rectified by AJ Autos. After having problems with the DPF on my Nissan for 2 years on and off I was getting desperate to find a solution. I am so glad I found Andy, he talked me through what the causes could be and the steps that could be taken to resolve these. I'm so impressed by how well the car is running now after Andys tlc, no more DPF issues. I will definitely take my car and any other future vehicles here, I recommend all my family and friends and anyone else reading this review to bring their cars to AJ Autos too. I've used AJ Autos for several years now. Local garages and main dealers gave nothing but headaches and big bills. Andy was recommended by a friend. Used him ever since. Highly recommend! Even turned up with no appointment and he fixed my car there and then. Very honest giving me a bill less than quoted. Never let me down and his work is first class. Andy did a great job for us. Had arranged to drop the car in for a new seatbelt and on the last minute a couple of other things went wrong in addition to the ones we already booked in with him (water pump and hose). Andy sorted everything out for us, got the parts, told us what was wrong and had it all turned around in the day. Will definitely use again. Great service.

Andy at AJ Autos has serviced my car for over four years now. The work is always arranged at a day to suit me. Never any nasty surprises with the cost either. The service is great, the price is right and Andy is just an honest, decent bloke who also happens to be a top mechanic too.
