TODAY, 17/1/22 have visited the Centre, but with a different car. It was my second day driving the car and it was showing "Check tyre Pressure" which bothered me because all tyres looked okay as confirmed by a kind person who checked and put pressure in all of them yesterday. I had booked an appointment for a proper check; and Danny has been of much assistance despite of not receiving confirmation of my appointment. Nathan (Staff) has checked the tyres and also resolved "the technical issue". I have regained my peace of mind in about 20 minutes. I will always recommend this Centre to others for a fast and excellent service. Last year, 2021, I had a slow puncture and it is Bank Holiday. I phoned the garage. The manager, Dave understands customers' anxiety and takes priority of their safety. He and his staff have fixed my tyre with no appointment and at no costs!! I feel valued and listened to at this AutoCentre; and I am always grateful. Will always recommend to others to have the same experience. Thank you all for a job well done!! PREVIOUSLY Services at this Centre always stand out. The manager and staff are polite and treat customers like kings. They are informative and their service is fast. This was my first time using this particular Halfords and I was really impressed with the knowledge and how well informed they kept me, during my car's MOT test. A simple flat tyre is not the best when it is end of the day and you commute to work. Luckily, Halfords were still open so I popped in for help. Amazing staff there, cannot be faulted. Big shout out to Dave who personally came over to my car to pump up the tyre enough to get me to the centre for repair. By the time I arrived, the car was booked in and parts ordered. I was kept me informed every step of the way but felt secure knowing my car was now ready to get me home safely. Customer service is top notch and the quality of work excellent. I am very pleased with it. We went it for service + MOT check. The guys there were friendly and helpful. Offered a few extra services on top of what we had booked. We don't know much about cars so they were very helpful in explaining what everything meant and which things were a must vs a nice to have. They were taking covid guidance seriously as well, only allowing one customer in at any time, which was nice. I recommend, definitely coming back next year!

These guys were brilliant! My car was making an awful noise on my drive in and a colleague recommended this garage. I rang ahead and there was no issue with when they could see me. Can't recommend these guys highly enough. Absolutely effortless booking process and the friendliest staff I've ever met! I've had a pesky issue with my headlights for a few months and they've helped me get it fixed quickly and easily, so I didn't hesitate to get my car booked in for an MOT and Service when the time came around. Reasonably priced, and even when I turned up late because of horrid traffic they were kind enough to re-jig things to still fit me in that day. Honestly - what a great team and fantastic service. Called up to get a quote on balancing/aligning wheels & new windscreen wipers. Gave me a decent price so I headed down there and was greeted by Dave in the front office. He was friendly, reassuring and professional and laid out the work needed doing in a fair, accurate and simple way. They ended up fitting new wheels in the front for a very fair price too (In all fairness the wheels were very worn). On the way back from the garage I noticed a slight rattling coming from the underside of the car. I took it back and was looked after by Yasin (one of the friendliest, most affable, and helpful people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting). He found and solved the cause of the rattling after having a thorough look under the car, and even pointed out some other issues I had (in a completely non salesy way). Problem solved - no charge! I really appreciated how welcome Yasin made me feel - you could tell he loved his work and took pride in it. One of those rare people who really wants to go the extra mile to help. Based on my experience, I would visit this branch with any other issues I have in the future. Thanks Dave & Yasin!

I booked my car in here for it's Mot. Booking was easy and I was able to book a specific time slot rather than having to leave my car all day. I arrived and gave over my keys. The guy in reception was very friendly. I decided to wait as my car would only be about an hour - and the waiting area was nice and warm. My car was done fast with no extra charges or attempts at selling me things that I didn't actually need. I will come back!!!

I have used the Openshaw store in the past, Nowhere as good as Ardwick store. I only take my car to this halfords has they have never tried to rip me off like most places do. 10/10

Great service by great people. The cost of the MOT was cheap - £35. My car did not pass but I did receive a phone call to explain why and how much it would cost to put right. The work was carried out within the hour and I got a call to pick it up. The MOT came with all the paperwork and the parts guarantee. I will defiantly go there again. Another thing that made it so easy was that I dropped the car off on the way to town and got the bus in.

I had my car booked in for a new battery, I had checked on the Halford website and it was £185 including fitting, I booked it with the halford garage, when I took my car there the man who served me wasn't helpful at all, I told that my car was booked in and gave him the booking reference he tried to tell me that it would cost me £245 when I told him that I looked on the website and it would cost me £185 he said yes that is the retail price and he said that it didn't include fitting and I told him that the price on the website includes fitting aswell so he said i will see if I can get it cheaper than £245. When I went to pick up my car the man who served me was a different man from the morning the second man was extremely polite when he gave me my invoice for the new battery the price was £185 and the battery they fitted was the same one that I seen on the halfords website.
