Took my car in for a full oil service, I was able to book the day before. The staff there were very friendly and helpful, I was assisted by Aaron who explained what they would be doing and the time scale it would take, I was given an update and told about any advisory work which I wasn’t pressured into taking. I was given a call once the service was complete. A break down was given on my invoice if I did change my mind about any advisory work for my car. Overall found my first experience at Halfords - Middleton to be straightforward and the staff were great!

Can’t recommend these enough. Called yesterday evening and got my car in this morning at 9am. Not even half an hour later I had a call from them explaining what was wrong and how much it was going to cost me. By 11:50 my car was fixed and ready to go! I was stressing as it’s 2 days before Christmas but these guys quickly sorted that for me. I believe I spoke to a lad named Aaron on the phone who was extremely polite and helpful. Vehicle dropped off on a Saturday and received a call within the hour to say the tyre had been replaced and vehicle was ready to be collected. The tyre I selected was cheaper fitted from Halfords than to buy and have delivered from other sites. Well worth checking them out if you need any vehicle work carried out.

They gained my trust last year when I came in just after have had a full service and MOT with a main dealer whom wanted to replace my both front disc+pads and much more , the gentleman looked at the report and surprisingly nothing needed to be replaced , I felt angry at time and raged at the dealer whom gave me all sort of excuses. Happy with the service. They fitted a new starter motor nd battery in my car a few months back but the car started having issues starting up again. They checked the car, found an issue with the starter motor and replaced it under their guarantee no quibbles. Good, honest service!

Took my car for mot and service and was told by another garage I needed new rear brakes... The guys here called me and said the brakes were fine and as such they were not going to change them! Fancy that...I offered them the money to do it and they turned it down because it didn't need doing! Wish I could remember the guy's name but they were all great! And fairly priced! Great job guys! Car air conditioning had started to smell my attempts at a cure failed, I was able to make an appointment within a day. Staff started to work on my car immediately and 15 minutes later I was on my way home. Went in for a free clutch check last Saturday. The mechanic checked the clutch while I waited. He didn't try to pressure me to replace the clutch there and then. He explained what signs to look out for when the clutch started to wear out and when to bring the car back. He also advised me of what the total cost would be when I did bring it back. I have also had my MOT done here previously and was very happy with the experience.

I have always taken all of my cars here for any work needed and service/MOTs - staff are very friendly and organised and everything is always explained to me in detail. I brought my new car here following purchase from a dealer (even though I had servicing and warranty from the dealer) - I trust the staff here to check the vehicle over to ensure everything is OK - I wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else.

I took my car in after having problems with it, I won't go into specific detail, but I paid over £300 to have it fixed. Upon receiving my car, I noticed the problem hadn't been fixed, despite paying for new parts. I took it back and the mechanic said he knew what the problem would be and it would be fixed at no additional costs. Again I received my car and the problem was still occurring. I was left with a hefty bill for new parts and no real result. Which was disappointing from a company with a high reputation.

this is my third post about Halfords Autocentre Middleton . Cannot rate them enough, Calvin the manager and Alan have been absolutely amazing with me. I went in yesterday just so they could check my brake pads as a couple of months ago they advised with my mileage they would be due about this time . I took it down and they fitted me in that day, all done in record time, no leaving my car at a garage all day (this used to happen before I found Halfords auto centre! Highly recommended!

Recently had service on 11th July. Service all went well. Only complaint is the under guard was left dragging on the floor. I'd understand if I had a few clips missing but they could have at least put a couple of cable ties on to secure it. Now I've had to get underneath the car myself and cable tie it up to secure

My warning on my car said .... coolant fluid is low...... I went on the Internet and it said gaskets can blow and engine damage etc. So I panicked and took it to halfords....
