Had such a great experience with Neil and Ian at Kwikfit - booked in for a free exhaust check and they very quickly diagnosed the problems, saving me £££ as i’d visited a different mechanic and they’d told me I needed to replace my catalytic converter but the guys said that wasn’t needed and gave me a MUCH cheaper alternative. Hugely appreciate the honesty and they were such a friendly team so a big thank you to you both!

Ian was top draw, could not find my locking wheel nut and by chance he had the same one in his own car and so was able to install new tyres, really nice team. Would recommend. 👍

I was happy with the service until I picked up my car, the check list for the full service included pressure testing of the coolant system, but this wasn't done. The engineer wasn't aware it was part of the service, I think I'm due a partial refund.

Really good service from making the initial call to driving away with 4 new tyres. What impressed me most was the speed at which the job was done. Tyres were a special order and within 48 hours of calling to book I was done and dusted. No nonsense, no faffing about, quick, efficient and not unpleasant in any way.

Scott was really helpful. I took my car to other mechanics but they gave me a wrong diagnostics. After I dropped off my car, within a hour, Scott phoned me that he suspects it’s just the tyre that’s causing noises. I agreed to change tyre and problem was solved. Scott is professional and trustworthy mechanic.

All Kwick Fits I've been to across the country have been very good and helpful and have solved my issues easily. Unfortunately this one didn't. When I was at the Old Kent Road center in London for MOT the said to bring the car for Aircon re-gas and they can work out what the issues is if it's not the gas. However, as I didn't have time to take it to them I took it here as I'm mostly in Manchester now. I explained it doesn't cool, it stopped suddenly and I can't feel the engine take the load of the compressor and I assume the compressor is busted and would like it confirmed. To which the person said no you won't feel that in a car like this, had a quick look and said it just needs gas. Takes about 45 mins comes back to tell me that the gas isn't holding in and he can't figure out what was happening. Took it to Ford the next day and they confirmed it was the compressor. The actual garage and it's layout was really good with easy access so it still gets the 3 stars. Also this may be a one off bad experience and as it was a Sunday may be it was someone who didn't know enough about Aircon. Oh also, now it's fixed I can feel the compressor take the load on the engine. Probably shouldn't say things like that if they aren't sure.

Good price. Greeted well initially. I Bought the tyre insurance . I had asked for the free wheel alignment check. As soon as I said I had found wheel balancing cheaper next door the man dismissed me.. he didnt offer to match the price, it was a £20 difference. When I went to collect, I asked had he done the free check and he said no, gave me the wrong key and I left after he gave me the correct key.

thanks to Ian @ Kwick fit...i needed new exhaust plus 2 new tyres..i called in without appointment..vehicle was inspected and quote given within 15 mins..i left my vehicle with them and was very impressed with work done and at very acceptable price. First Class all round...

Quite abrupt customer service not very friendly at all especially as I was feeling stressed and needed the tyre replaced in a hurry. However they did get the tyre replaced quickly. Just dont expect service with a smile!

Dropped in first thing in the morning on spec as I had a flat tyre, and needed to get home to Nottingham from Manchester as soon as I could. Scott and the team were very busy and 'booked up to the hilt' that day, but still managed to squeeze me in and get my car sorted within the hour. Extremely happy with the service they provided.

Provided a reasonable efficient and well priced fix to my punctured car tyre to allow us to continue on our journey. Two hour turn around. Only downside was that they didn’t ask for the locking wheelnut socket before we left the car with them so we were called back to help them find it.

Went there for a wheel alignment since my car had a tendency to veer off the center. I simply walked in and was seen to almost immedately. To my amazement, i was not charged anything - the electronic assesssment indicated all was well, the camber on the road was responsible for the apparent 'misalignment'. I was really impressed with the honesty of these guys at Stretford (Philip and Isty and co) and will go there again
