I can't praise Stefan and his team enough. My bug was put back on the road and just scraped through the MOT by another company where it had been stored for a bit but I knew she was running rough so as soon as I could get her in with MacVW, I did. It was a few weeks wait but it was well worth it. Driving out again, it felt like I had got my car back properly. Instead of choking and spluttering as I accelerated, she purrs to begin with and then takes off like a startled hare. Pushing the throttle further, the now finely tuned 1.6 engine makes sure she leaps forward, growling like a wildcat until we reach the peak of engine power and it sounds like we're being chased by a large swarm of angry hornets. Foot off the gas, let her coast and you get the growl and crackle of the exhaust box. Power is now always just a tickle of the foot away, ready to spit you forwards in a G-force fuelled, spine-flattening frenzy of excitement. I can't stop smiling. My car has come alive again. What is more, they charge a fair price for their excellent service so you know you won't get ripped off. Thanks again Stefan

Stef its Andy (T25 Gearbox) I just want to thank you for everything you have done to get me back on the road. It was a big deal for me when I realised my gearbox was broke, but your knowledge and professionalism put my mind at ease. From the 1st phone call when Rachel managed to get me in on a Saturday I knew I was in good hands. You and Jordan have done an unbelievable job on my bus, replacing the gearbox, clutch, spigot bearing etc. It drives like a totally different van. I can actually hear the radio instead of the gearbox bearings. I’d also like to thank Chris @kcvm recovery who transported my bus to and from (A really nice guy that I would highly recommend) You and the team Mac VW are a credit to the VW community and I am so pleased you are just round the corner.
