I've been going to Rainsough Garage for many, many years, they are a family run business with family values. They always go the extra mile and are very accommodating, I have complete confidence in their work and as a woman I have never felt I was being overcharged because I'm clueless with cars, everything is fully explained and itemised. If you've had poor experiences with other garages in the past I would fully recommend them. They have an excellent reputation which is representative of their work.

Darren,Shaun and Rob are legends I wouldn’t take mine or the wife’s car anywhere else. Local independent garages that you can trust are hard to come by but these guys are the best. Honest, hardworking and very straightforward to deal with plus things like labour costs are very reasonable as well as going out of their way to get the best but well priced parts.

Going above and beyond to get the work done in the evening past closing time so I wouldn't be without my car due to a part mix-up from the shop and not the garage. Full engine re-con due to cylinder head crack My experience dealing with Darren and his team and been nothing but positive. Darren has kept me constantly updated with what was exactly being done to the engine and has also kept his promise with the price from the start. Excellent Garage, you can always trust the work they do and they go the extra mile for you. my car was towed there with 2 burst tyres early one evening after hours and Darin was just leaving - he opened up again and fixed me up, who else does that??

Rainsough Garage are brilliant. They have carried out a few services & MOTs on mine and my partners cars. Figured out what was wrong with the electronics of my car when other garages couldn't. They also did a beautiful job fixing my front bumper. It's very reassuring to have a garage to go to that you have confidence in. 100% trust in Rainsough and their skills. Darren is very upfront and honest about the work required and price. It is very reasonable for such swift and high quality work. All of the staff are so pleasant too. Highly recommend

Can't fault Rainsough Garage at all... all the lads were friendly and explained everything to me really clearly. Any other garage could have charged me for way more than I needed, but not these guys. This is my go to place as nothing is too much trouble. Got a call from Darren two days ago saying my MOT had run out! So grateful as it had completely slipped my mind. He wasn't sure he could fit it in this week but said he'd try. It failed on brakes and got a call today saying it was done. I pulled into Rainsough Garage as i had just heard an unusual noise which i thought were my breaks. I didn't have an appointment but the guys could see i was worried and jacked my car up to investigate. They saw the issue straight away and said my car wasn't safe to drive. The owner (Darren i think) called the garage where i had previously had it serviced a few weeks before and got them to come tow my car away to be fixed. Ive been using another garage in prestwich for last few years for mot and services partly because I received a discount flyer when they opened and then just got into a habit. This year I was told they could not complete the mot because of two holes in the exhaust which they could not fix or replace because they could not get the part. I contacted rainsough who sourced the two sections of exhaust id been told need replacing and booked me in. On seeing the car I was contacted by rainsough who asked why the exhaust was being replaced as it looked fine. Rainsough did some quite minor work on the exhaust and then re did the MOT. All in all they charged me half their original quote including the MOT. I think that speaks volumes about their professionalism and honesty. Ive learnt a valuable lesson, go to Rainsough first!

Daren and the garage are brilliant. They always take enough time investigating issues to ensure they get it right first time. I took my car in due to air con and engine coolant issues and the bill looked initially like it would be huge. Early diagnostic was compresser replacement and potential head gasket or cracked engine. This looked like a huge cost, car was in the garage for a while. Was expecting to pay a furtune but was billed for tightening a loose pipe, a new switch for the air con and labour. Saved about £500! As always, for a lot!

Absolutely recommend, Darren was more than helpful when we took our car in for a new exhaust which could have just been done, but Darren ramped the car up pointed out things were not right took pictures and suggested we take it back to nissan where we had bought it 4 months prior and told us what to say, due to his expertise and professionalism we followed his advise and our car was fixed straight away free of charge by Nissan.

Just want to say a big "'thank you' to Darren for a job well done! I'd been told by two independent garages that I needed a new turbo on my Audi A6...jobs priced at £850:00 and £1050:00 respectively! Darren didn't join the queue to say I needed a new turbo, rather he said that he wanted to do his own diagnostic checks. So I took the car in and about three hours after he called me to say that he'd cleared the fault codes and they'd not returned and the car was driving fine . He gave me an advisory that the flywheel could need some attention in the future ...but not now. So, £39:60 for a diagnostic check is a whole load better than the price of a new turbo! Thank you Darren ....I'll certainly be back for my annual service and mot and I'll be more than happy to recommend you to my friends. Regards and thanks again David Husband
