Long overdue review. I have an old BMW which has served me well since new. Recently however age has started to take it toll. Just before Christmas the timing chain went. Having just gone through Covid and tight for money due to lack of work for my business this was a major issue for me. I spoke with John who was extremely understanding and caring. They were very busy but he agreed to help and took the car. His team were excellent and professional. They had the car back to me within the week and had also put right so many other faults. The car runs like new again. He did his absolute upmost regarding the cost for me and I can confirm with all the additional jobs included it was far cheaper than any other garages I had tried. I would wholly recommend Urmston Service Station to anyone, and thank all the guy's and lady who went above and beyond to help me through that difficult time.

Went to the urmston service station today as wanted to renew my road tax and found out that the MOT was due up. The mechanic Ian said they could fit me in today and remembered that i lived two roads away so he drove me home due to my mobility difficulties and returned my car home within a couple of hour's with the new MOT certificate and the card machine to pay. I cannot praise this company enough and a big thank you to Ian for going above and beyond in assisting me. Thank you so much

We were recommended to take our car to John, when our mechanic friend was unable to help us. We have since been back on a number of occasions and cannot recommend Urmston garage highly enough! To cut a long story short, we had major issues with our SEAT which was part of a recall, and John very kindly stepped in and saved us potentially £Ks in costs, when the dealership were trying to rip us off. Not only that, John didn’t charge us for his time in fighting SEAT, despite our best efforts! The jobs the dealership were quoting, Urmston did for nearly half the price. We know very little about cars, so are an easy target for rip off merchants- these guys are certainly not that. Thanks for everything!

Booking was nice and easy. On arrival there was no one to speak to and explain the problem. After chasing for 5 hours finally got an answer which clearly showed the person did not know what he is talking about. Had to go elsewhere.

Got my car repaired here this week I was told by a few local garages I needed a new engine and it was going to cost me a lot more. Took my car to John who diagnosed properly and told me I did not need a new engine. Saved myself a lot of money and sleepless nights. I also got my car serviced and MOT. Thanks John and his team, will be back, as he is very trustworthy and I'm a very happy customer. Highly recommend 👍

Both stories have never taken place, nor have such cars been in this garage. Maybe a former employee?
